Number 76: I am not trying to come for you but, as far as the type of music that Brandy makes, she is in a league of her own and she does it very well. So whoever said that no one is touching her musically or artistically is correct. The Full Moon album was released in 2002 and today’s artists are just now catching on. She could release songs from that album and they would fit right in with what is in rotation now. The same can be said for the Afrodisiac album (listen to One Republic’s “Apologize”).

Brandy does not make music for the times, she makes it for the ages. With that being said, the album is really, really good and there is something on there for everyone. PLEASE SUPPORT BRANDY DECEMBER 9TH!!!!

She’s been through some rough times since her last album dropped and is one of few artist that I feel are sincere when they sing. Look at her face in this video. She didn’t have to go to acting bootcamp for that emotion. Brandy also doesn’t represent the current industry standard of “beautiful” either. Image unfortunately is everything, but when you can do you and be satisfied…THAT is everything!

I’ve already pre-ordered the CD on iTunes. I like the end of the song and video the best. I remember when “Have You Ever” had to grow on me, now it’s one of my top 5 Brandy songs. “Long Distance” is headed there too. Brandy executes beautifully, and she’s grown into a beautiful woman.

I absolutely hated this song when I first heard it, but after hearing over and over again and seeing the video I love it. It almost made me cry on about the twentieth listen because the words began to resonate. This is the single of the year for me now.
