Ciara seems to a little scattered lately. Not sure if it’s her new management or possibly 50’s influence. But she is definitely not on her game.

I knew if CL posted Ciara’s remix of this song, people (especially Beyonce stans) would blow things out of proportion as usual. SMH. It’s just a track for a mixtape. It’s basically standard for artists to cover other songs on mixtapes. People trying to act like mixtapes so beneath singers don’t have a clue as to what their rambling about. Mixtapes are for buzz and promo purposes. You can find just about any artist of urban music on a mixtape. J. Holiday, Chris Brown, and Trey Songz and many other singers release mixtapes all the time. Also many of Beyonce’s songs are on several mixtapes people. You can find a lot of them on the mixtapes done by Tapemaster’s Inc. So mixtapes aren’t beneath her either. People on this blog always make try make something out of nothing. It’s digusting and annoying.

Looks as though Ciara has tried to take a stab at Beyonce’s second single, “Diva,”………. At first, I couldn’t get through Ciara’s version of the song, but then I just had to take a full listen.

Anyway, both ladies are probably my favorite female artists. HUGE fan! BUT I think the song is very bad in general and Bey stans shouldn’t be catching feelings over this because Cici just did this for her supposed mixtape. And that’s what you do in a mixtape. It’s NOT that big of a deal!

Beyonce!! Is this even a SERIOUS question. Come on now. Ciara was half way “singing” on the track. Even though it wasn’t a ballad or n e thing of that sort, Beyonce’s voice rode the beat and was very STRONG on the track as it should have been. Some might try to say “oh this doesn’t fit Beyonce”, but she sure did jump on that track and OWN it. Even when Ciara says “diva is a female version of a hustla” it sounds so forced, and doesn’t come n e where close to the original.

Also Ciara isn’t a DIVA so it makes no sense for her to sing this song. She has not headlined any world tours although she has been a solo artist for quite a while. Her recent album was pushed ALL THE WAY BACK, as to not compete with Beyonce or any other artists coming out this time. Brandy came out as planned, Britney came out, Keyshia came out, but when it was time for Ciara to drop she disappeared because her album buzz was NOWHERE. Now that’s not being a DIVA. Gogirl barely charted on Billboard, her magazine covers have flopped.

All the while she’s jumping on the track of an artist who SHE DID NOT WANT TO COMPETE AGAINST. lmao. She is cool in her lane of dancing, but DIVA’s dont’ jump on anothers track just to shamelessly try to promote their “first single” at the end. Ciara has got to do better, or 09 definitely won’t be the year she makes a good come back.

Obviously neither one of them owns the track. And although Ciara tried to put her own spin on the lyrics, she straight up jacked some of the lyrics of Beyonce’s version - HORRIBLE. To borrow a concept is one thing, to plagarize is another.

Ciara has no power to her voice - she can’t carry the track, even with her strongest note. She just has no vocal ability whatsoever.

Everyone keeps talking about how Beyonce thinks too much of herself. I definitely think Ciara thought waaaay too much of herself if she thought she could pull this off. Sad.
