Usher attended a day of service at Simon Elementary School on Monday, January 19, in Washington D.C.
Working with MTV and ServiceNation, in collaboration with CityYear, Heart of America and D.C. Cares, Usher led a group of 200 young volunteers in a makeover project at Washington, DC, participating in this year’s historic Inaugural activities.

Totally agree. I really hope these kinds of gestures happen outside the D.C. lines as well and not just there only because of the history made. However, it is a start that was needed and should be continued.
