Teairra Mari is currently in the studio working on her anticipated sophomore album, At That Point which is going to be released this Spring.
The 21 year-old invited Concrete Loop to a recording session at Will Smith’s exclusive studio ‘The Boom Boom Room’ to listen to some of her latest songs and I must say the album is coming out nicely.
Her lead single, ‘Hunt 4 U’ featuring Pleasure P is moving up the charts and Teairra recently secured a lucrative deal with a top record company and plans on coming hard this year, after about 4 year hiatus.

I don’t know why I thought she was older than that.
She turns her back on her hometown (DETROIT) to go deal with the big wigs and she doesnt have a base of support. Her hometown isnt 100% behind her and after that first big record it should have been. But she turne dher nosse up cause she thought she made it. She is snotty and arrogant and geneally not a nice person.
Tthats why she got dropped and thats why she isnt as big as she should be.

yeah i have a feeling she’s a cocky chick and when you rub ppl the wrong way, they won’t like you and won’t try to help you. jay might not have liked her attitude so he might have favored riri more. plus riri came out when dancehall was popular so her reggae sounds fit in with the mainstream market. her first single was a bigger hit than tm’s so that coupled with her sweeter attitude might have made jay keep her despite her lackluster record sales. i don’t blame riri for tm’s lack of success but i do blame jay or whoever was on her main team b/c her first single was a mess and they did not market her properly. she reminded me of a bratz doll

BAM BANG no lie, I know another person already agreed with you, but I heard the exact same things! I’ve been saying that for a while everytime a post of Teairra came up. I don’t live in Detroit or know her or her friends, but all I’m saying is that I did have a friend a few years back who said people were talking about how stuck up and mean she was. You can tell by her “I’m so ghetto and cute” attitude in her televised interviews that she’s that way. Something about her personality I just don’t like… well from what I’ve seen. I honestly believe that’s why she got dropped as well. Jay wouldn’t just drop her cuz of one album. She probably confronted him about him working on Rihanna’s next project and holding hers off and kicked her out of the lable. Anywaym this girl is very untalented and a below average singer. She has no uniqueness, style, or real raw talent.
