Whitney Houston receives a standing ovation when she takes the stage at the 2nd Annual BET Honors Award Ceremony, held in D.C this year. Houston was there to present an award to honoree Tyler Perry.

Ok so I was fortunate enough to be there last night. Monica looks great in these photos. She did a tribute to Mary J. Blige last night and song ‘Not Gon Cry” so that explains the scarf and glasses and dark lipstick. Now her hair was done in soundcheck but in order to pull off the scarf she had to gel it down.
Whitney was the suprise guest no one knew she was coming. She didnt sing but when she walked out, everyone was filled with joy. It is a great show, cannot wait until it airs on TV. But glad to see my divas Whitney and Monica last night. It was a blessing.

REAL TALK Queen needs to STOP singing she ain’t bad (i guess) that if you like your singers to have a 1 octave range.
