Yeah you, Vanessa Simmons. She was spotted with cousin/reality show co-star Jessica leaving the Apple Lounge in West Hollywood, California.
Both ladies star in the new ‘Run’s House’ spin off ‘Daddy’s Girl’ and work together at Vanessa and Angela’s clothing & sneaker company Pastry.

Love these girls. I was watching the show and my husband walked up and thought Jessica was a dude in girl clothing. hahaha
I knew that was Jessica, but I thought it was Angela not Vanessa because of the long hair.

vanessa is the corniest but they all are corny. without the lil sister i forget her name the one that dated bow wow the show would be lame.
the show is so scripted its not even funny and they need to stop acting like they are innocent. maybe vanessa is never seen her with a man but WaCK!!!
i just wonder why they calling Jessica their cousin and shes not. when she was on runs house, in the earlier seasons, they had angela friend under her name. now shes a cousin, GTFOH.
and i havent seen an entire episode of daddys girls yet.

Far as there show Daddys Girls…I like it…finnally a show for young women that isnt about be a “Bad Girl” or young women actin like fools or wild street cats. We need more positive images of not only our young BLK women but also for all young women…if you look at most REALITY SHOWS they like to showcase (mostly YOUNG)women in a negative light and unfortunately those women dont care how there percieved on tv in front of millions….so If Im going to watch some staged reality show….Daddys girls is mos def at the top of the list…..because its a more positive show…..which makes it different then most shows that are on tv today.
F.Y.I 98% of all reality shows are staged and scritped. Its called REALITY ENTERTAINMENT.
@67 they probably consider her that because they feel closer to her then just friendship and more like family. Like I have friends that I love dearly and view them more then just a friend alone, so some I consider like cousins or brothers or sisters because they realtionship to me can be more personal and profound then just friendship alone.

that show is waaay too scripted. they try too hard to go over the top. it makes it appear very rehearsed (which it is) but i didn’t even get thru watching the first show. they acted more real on Runs House. this show is painfully fake fake fake.
I defintely couldn’t figure out who it was but the reality show wasn’t what I expected but it’s cute. I think the simmons sisters seem to be really cool people, and I think it’s nothing wrong with trying to keep up a positive image. Especially in this industry. More celebrities need to be like that. And I like Jessica she seems really cool too, I don’t see the big deal. Yeah she has a deep voice but a lot of women do and their not a lesbian. It happens. Keep up the good work girls….

I think Jessica is a lil manish or tomboy like but if she’s gay then that’s it’s all good for her. But @76 I’ve left the house plenty of times without a purse and I know damn well I am not a lesbian. Sometimes you just dont fell like carrying a purse with you at all times that’s just me but I can’t speak for others so.

Vanessa’s gorgeous in these pics…lovin the purse. The pink purse and the long hair threw me off…that’s so Angela, but great shot. Knew right off the back it was “cousin” Jessica by the way she always stands…my ex-girlfriend [who was partially closeted] stood that exact same way…
OK guys, so yes the show’s super duper scripted, but then again what reality tv show isn’t? It’s just easier/more marketable to stage a liquor-induced fight than a dilemma involving a moral decision that has to be made…but hey, that’s quality American programming for ya! If you don’t like the sisters, that’s your entitled opinion…just don’t hate on ‘em…they’re such positive women that influence a lot of little girls of all races across the nation. And that’s definitely something to stay tuned for! Hanging out at clubs…nothing’s wrong with that. Being carried out the club…now that’s just a mess.
Now on to Miss Jessica…I love her swagg, kinda cheesy, but I think it’s cuz she’s trying so hard to come across as a hetero. As a lesbian myself, I saw RIGHT through the red polish and tight baby doll tees. I just wish the African American society was more welcoming to gays and lesbians…especially if they’re doing big/positive things. Then maybe it wouldn’t be so painful to watch her “act” on the show. I always thought their neighbor Alicia was Jess’ girlfriend, and they DO seem to be pretty close…but that’s another blog… The episode when Angela wanted to get a motorcycle…Jess seemed super comfortable in the comfy leather jacket and chaps…that’s when her true personality came out. Even on the speed dating episode, when Vanessa asked them to join her, Jess and Angela looked @ each other with a “yeah right!” posted on their faces. But I missed the “Jessie” episode…bet that was hilarious! Jess…when/if you ever come out the closet, look me up! ;o)
