Yay Whitney! I look forward to it

I absolutly cannot wait! She is the truth! All of her cd’s have been great I just can’t get enough of India’s voice! Just like Amel Larrieux she’s an awesome talent, her messages are very positive (not only singing about love and love and more love) and beautiful is her music. I have like 40 songs by her up in my Ipod ^_^!
India has her head on her shoulders. People don’t support her (all races not just black) because her appearance doesn’t fit in what this crazy and out of control industry calls “beautiful” or “sexy”. Go Miss Arie! It’s a recession but you sure can count on me to get your album!

Uuunh…Auntie Withney…you’re beautiful and all but….I’m not sure i’m going to check up on your songs. Hearing alone that a legend like you collaborated with Akon makes me kind of fearing a big dissapointment. I think I prefer not to listen to any of your new “projects” and just remember the Withney we all loved!

She doesn’t offer all of the glitz and glam but her talent is undeniable! I can’t wait until this album drops on Feb 10th… That will definitely be one of my V Day presents from my fiance’.

You are so correct in saying that she has gone platinum and more. She has Grammys in the categories they don’t publicize in the actual event. She’s just not your most “popular” all in your face type of artist and I doubt she cares because she’s all about her music not popularity and money. India Arie looks stunning on this cover. She looks live and happy and I will be supporting this album. Love her first single.

Don’t know what to say about Prince, I hope he didn’t steal that song because he’s too talented for that.

Whitney I’m a huge fan and if you gonna come back then you must come back hard or not at all. I wanna hear ballads. Don’t become like MAriah (who I am also a huge fan of) and start trying to sell yourself too much to the young crowd.

India.Arie is the only artist that can get me to purchase her album on the day it is released. I love her because she actually takes time to live between her albums and brings back those experiences to her new music. Kanye wants the type of fans that India has, yet he is always in our face. Take a break dude and you too will have fans that really understand you.

Glad Whitney is doing music again, however I can wait for her release….I would be curious but I doubt I would run out and purchase… but if I hear that it’s great then of course I will support.

India Arie is underated when it comes to airplay on mainstream radio and the showing of her videos on MTV and BET, but she is a great singer and has been recognized as such.

Its pathetic if you don’t look a certain way (what mainstream society feels is acceptable) you aren’t publicly recognized like your (Beyonce, A. Key, Rhianna, Ciara, etc.) when they display more talent. India Arie sings positive songs and truth and she also has a very nice body which some of your so called A list singers can’t touch.

India can’t be THAT underrated if her last album went #1 and sold like 700,000 units with only one single (that one with Akon about hair and appearance) which wasn’t even a big hit. That is pretty good IMO and especially since she isn’t a watered down popstar. She has a solid, loyal fan base like Jill Scott.

After hearing the cheesy song Prince allegedly plagiarized from I can say with FULL certainty that that is the biggest crock of $hit I’ve heard in a long time. 4 notes in a melody in the chorus are similar, there’s probably 100 other songs with the same 4 note melody. These people are looking for a pay-day.

Finally the one album I’ll go out and buy! Sure i’ll watch single ladies on Youtube but in my mind I’ll always remember “I am ready for Love” more than “Cater to you”

but I guess every genre and style of music has its place.
