Ciara releases her “first” single from her new album, Fantasy Ride. The new single is produced by Polow Da Don and features Young Jeezy. Even though “Go Girl” wasn’t that great of a choice for a single, “Never Again” definitely isn’t leaps and bounds above that. I appreciate the sample, but I was expecting something great, considering that Polow did produce her hugely popular first single from her last album, “Promise.”
I don’t know, I’m a little iffy about Ciara’s project. There have been a few songs that I’ve really dug (“Echo” and “I’m On”), but the thing about it is, so much material has leaked, I’m just not sure what the album is going to consist of. We’ll see. Hopefully, we’ll have a new release date for Fantasy Ride as well.

Ciara was never really THAT creative anyway…imo…its producers and writers who assist with her projects are who deserve the credit…or lack there of. Her voice is pretty one dimensional and there’s only so much it can do. Its either heady and light or deep/low. She needs to try songs that show off different sides of her voice…

Not feeling this at all, from a lyrical, sound, or a production standpoint. Ciara and Powlow both let me down. I say Ciara should scrap this whole “Fantasy Ride” bs and go back to the drawing board, because the only song that was good was “High Price” She has got to come harder if she wants to keep it. I don’t understand it either because I loved every song on the Evolution. SMH!!!

# 6, This has nothing to do with Bey, I don’t know why her name was even brought up. Ciara is Ciara, and Beyonce is Beyonce. But as for the song, its a nice song, but it is nothing special. This song will most likely get slept on just like Go Girl. But Imma still support Ci Ci, because she is very talented. I’m feeling Brian, this album go around is just not doing it for me! I was hoping the postings were true about Jive shelving this album so she could start fresh, I think thats what she needs is to start fresh and come a lil harder, because singles create buzz which creates album sales and all of her “first singles” have not been too hot.

Please, let’s stop with the first crap…….this is a far different planet then that trash box of a blog site that shall remain nameless…..I digress, this Ciara song is wack. I was growing in excitement after “Go Girl” and “I’m On”, but this is just a little too weak for me. I am a fan of Ciara and I never compare her to other female chicks in the game because what Ciara brings to the table is very different, unique, and exciting, (especially if you have seen her in concert) but this doesn’t create the buzz that she is looking for. I would have liked to have seen Ciara exploding out the box, giving me something very uptempo, dancing, energy, exotic moves, etc. I would have liked to see Ciara give me more Ciara, not a lot of features and guest appearances, but expounding more on the creativity of her talent. This is her third album and I expect more and I know she has it in her to produce better, but this song doesn’t do it for me, sorry Ci-Ci.

She dances, and can defintiely sing. No she’s not a Beyonce, so Beyonce’s name should have never been brought up, she’s just Ciara. This album is going to be greatness. The other songs that leaked (well at least most of them but like 3) are for her mixtape anyway. So the best has yet to be heard, but on another note “Never, Ever” is pure greatness; it’s not total single material, but has a chance of being in the top 10′s..so get out of here hataZ!
