I say Ciara should scrap this whole “Fantasy Ride” bs and go back to the drawing board, because the only song that was good was “High Price” She has got to come harder if she wants to keep it. Please, let’s stop with the first crap…….this is a far different planet then that trash box of a blog site that shall remain nameless…..I digress, this Ciara song is wack. I was growing in excitement after “Go Girl” and “I’m On”, but this is just a little too weak for me. I am a fan of Ciara and I never compare her to other female chicks in the game because what Ciara brings to the table is very different, unique, and exciting, (especially if you have seen her in concert) but this doesn’t create the buzz that she is looking for. I would have liked to have seen Ciara exploding out the box, giving me something very uptempo, dancing, energy, exotic moves, etc. I would have liked to see Ciara give me more Ciara, not a lot of features and guest appearances, but expounding more on the creativity of her talent. This is her third album and I expect more and I know she has it in her to produce better, but this song doesn’t do it for me, sorry Ci-Ci.

Beyonce’s album was beyond creative and was actually very well put together. Some people were disappointed but most fans just grew with her like she wanted and accepted her album for what it was. Being the Beyonce fanatic that I am (NO HOMO), I was in fact disappointed AT FIRST listening to I Am…Sasha Fierce. But the lyrics on I Am… are very creative, soothing, and send out a great message, EVEN IF SHE DID NOT WRITE THEM. Now, this is her best CD yet to me. It has grown on me big time and I love it. It did to many others too which is why her album is back to #2 on the Billboard Charts, on its 6th week, but people call it a ‘flop’ and ‘garbage’. Whatever.

I don’t think there is much Ciara can do now to bring back her star potential, if she had one at that. She is, well her career is, on the brink of a meltdown, and I don’t think she can stop it. She has fallen of drastically that if she wanted to stay relevant to the music industry she has got to put out hit after hit after hit. Which, clearly, is not turning out successful.

As for Rihanna, she has had many hits and people like her for that (Not me, I can’t stand that trick..lol). BUT, I am afraid for her none-the-less, because that was just one album. It seems as though she is skittish about releasing another one because these songs are quite old. I wonder what new material she will release next. Maybe country? She has been hopping from genre to genre.

After reading the comments i expected the song to be terrible but its actually quite cute, im a fan of her earlier stuff but the tracks now seem like they have no real direction anymore, i think ciara’s biggest problem is the fight to stay relevant as music is clearly changing right now. as much as i hate to say it rihanna has done all the right things musically to stay RELEVANT- the only person who can sing straight r n b no gimmiks and make it into a commercial success nowadays is Beyonce- and thats mainly due to a load of fanatical fans.. so if the rest of the album is watered-down-urban like this then shelve it.and UPDATE it.

Song is a midtempo soft sweet cute song and can see over the radios and its a easy listen. Sample is perfect and video will spice it up for people to love it more. Its safe and pretty good job Ci! All of the music today is horrible even Beyonce’s. Everybody want to do pop since Rihanna started it. She may has a weak voice, but she sure is a trendsetter that Beyonce/CiCi trying to follow (this and halo). These are songs that Rihanna would sing! Not the old Beyonce! The old Beyonce (me,my self and I)and Ciara (goodies)had a style of their own before the enter the pop world . I will never buy Ciara/Beyonce/Rihaana cd’s anyway. They each may have three songs on their cd’s like. I use to love Beyonce when she was singing meaningful songs, but now it is time for her to grow into a young lady that is reaching 30. She still singing to the babies (12-17) just like when Destiny’s Child when it came out (diva and video phone). There is no good meaningful music out today! I guess if you are the it girl you can sing about anything and you would sell. That is a dam shame when you have good singers who go unnotice (Tamia, Tony Braxton, Deborah Cox, Brandy, Monica just to name a few).

Okay when I first heard intro it was bouncy sweet lullabuy type and dreamy/fantasy feel.
Verses really didnt understand or cared just knew her vocals were good and she tend run on her words making it tough to understand. Hook is SUPER addictive and sample is perfect! Jeezy did his thing and makes the song good and more like Love in This Club part 2. Only thing Ci vocals should be better then Promise’s and she just matched them at best if she really have belted more and the breakdown was nice. Cant wait for video and hopefully is dance filled. I think this is crossover and hit potential. The kiddies and adults will love it especially old timers. Its a nice good feel listen. I wasnt disappointed. Almost how Ifelt about Promise but that song forever is #1 to me. I give song 7.5/10. Due to not really understanding verses and vocals were good just not taking to that level we know Ci can hit. The way they put her songs together there really isnt a insert for her to just blast a full blown note(s).

When exactly was ‘Go Girl’ a hit? It never even made it into the top 50 on Billboard. I was rooting for Cici. Why can’t someone have a genuine dislike for the song without being a hater?

ummmm every singer is assisted by writers and producers sooooo…yea…anywho, to say anybody in the music industry now, especially 2 artists like rihanna & ciara who’ve achieved much success and are idolized, but to say anyone out now has ” no talent” is ignorant ( well maybe cassie). they may have limited singing ability & rihanna may not be a very good performer, but they all have loads of talent. ciara’s singing is limited but she overrides that by being innovative & being a great performer. sure she’s having some low time, but what artist doesn’t?? even LEGENDS like Janet Jackson have low time. lay off!

This song sucks a**!!!! I’m so glad that she came out with this weak single cuz I can’t stand this non talented chick. It’s slow and extremely boring and very teeny bopper R&B. I can’t believe people really try to act like she’s still relevant in this music industry just because she did well in the past. Fyi many singers have done well and sold many albums just because of right time and right place and the right singles. You don’t have to be a great or even good singer just to be famous or sell millions of records. Ciara is a good example of that.
