Oscar Grant was fatally shot in the back by a Bay Area Rapid Transit (B.A.R.T.) police officer early on New Year’s morning after police responded to reports of fighting on a train.
Protests, which began peacefully erupted shortly after Oscar Grant was laid to rest on Wednesday night.
According to CNN, the Oakland Police Department made 105 arrests, including a mass arrest of about 80 people at 11 p.m., said Officer Jeff Thomason. The charges include inciting a riot, vandalism, assault on a police officer and unlawful assembly, he said. One officer was injured, but not seriously, Thomason said.

It makes me sick to my stomach to hear these Black store owners condemning the protest just because they’ve had a few windows busted out on their storefront. Negroes please, don’t you have insurance? A man has lost his life, a mother a son, a child a father and all you care about is a f*cking building. I urge the people of San Francisco to continue to wreak havoc on the city. There is nothing wrong with rioting and busting out a few windows and torching houses. We have to let these crackers know that we have relieved them of their authority. We are taking matters into our own hands because the Black man cannot get justice in the courts.

If a white man had shot and killed a Jew, it would have been just as bad but I would not show any interest in it because frankly, my interest lies with Black people. A few years ago in NY a Hasidic Jew was blocking traffic and a patrol car was responding to an emergency. They must have yelled at him and roughed him up a few times. The Jewish community did not like that one of their own was “talked down to” by the cops. They came out in full force and blocked the street. No one batted an eye or said the Jews were over-reacting. Now a Black man was executed in broad daylight and WE are taking things too far? We should point fingers at ourselves and say “yes we deserved to be killed by the police?” Are you kidding me? Hell no! It is critical for white people to know that the days of singing “we shall overcome” are days of the pass. We are a different breed. We are not handcuff by the non-violent, love your enemy approach. We do not pray for our enemy. We pray that God kill him, or that God will help us kill him.

I have lived in Oakland All my life and I use the BART system occasionally to get around. And now when the train passes the FRUITVALE Station my heart is stricken with great sadness. I can’t help but look at the platform and think that a organization that was established to “protect” & serve the community took a young mans life. It’s been reported that he was really getting his life together and was an active member of his local church. I just want to express my Condolences to his family and friends and that I lift them in prayer!
This my first time hearing about this. This is crazy, what is this world coming too when cops are shooting innocent people. I just don’t get it. I see no reason for it. I really hope that they start dealing with these police when they do kill or injure innocent people. They need to put through the same thing as murders that aren’t cops. Jail time, or life in prision. Cause it just doesn’t make any sense. SMH @ some of the cops….

Alright, I agree, but how does that resolve the issue? Whites have been PUT IN POWER for a certain dispensation of time by the Most High until their rulership is fulfilled like the empires before it. store owners werent complaining about the riot damage b/c they didnt care about they cause. its b/c the damage was pointless. it didnt help the cause. the officer who shot Grant wasnt affected by the cars getting burned. he was probably sitting at home with his family eating dinner. but the shop owners, whether they had insurance or not, were negatively affected FOR NO REASON. they werent the ones who shot Grant. mostly minority protestors were destroying minority property and businesses. if they were mad at the BART organization and the OPD, it wouldve have made more sense to cause them some damage. b/c if the OPD is racist like many claim, then theyre not gonna care if minorities destroy their own neighborhoods.
and the protestors werent destroying their own personal property. none of them would go and burn their own car or business. why? b/c thats part fo their livelihood. that is why the oakland business owners were upset. are they not supposed to be able to make money b/c of Grant was murdered? even Grants own family still has to put food on the table. [and many of the protestors that were arrested werent even natives of Oakland. so they were destroying someone else's community]
