I saw that video about the guy getting shot by the police yesterday. Its so sad that the murderous asshole probably wont see the inside of a jail cell for what he did to that man. The man was unarmed and laying on his stomach what threat did he pose? And I’m supposed to be afraid of terrorists? Naw police are the real terrorists.

I cannot watch the video of the young man being shot in the back. It’s hard enough for me just hearing about it.

That was so sad to watch. I am so mad that he had to die this way. I just feel like that could be any man of color be it being my father, brother or cousin. If it’s happening continuously then obviously the punishments are not harsh enough. Big up to the CL for posting about the bart shooting because Im from Oakland and this Bart station is right by house and its sad how the police officer who did this might get away with it and never see the inside of the jail. And the guy who was killed was unarmed and not a threat to the bart officers.

I hope that justice is served in that case, and that this draws NATIONAL attention. How can you shoot someone who is lying flat on their back unarmed? The jury should truly see the horror and injustice in this case. Please please let something be done about this. This could be my brother, b/f, friend, just anybody. We have this same situation going on as we type in New Orleans. Yes we are the murder capital of the U.S. and the cops here have a right to be extra cautious. But we had 7 cops shoot 14 rounds into a 23 year old black guys back (they said he shot 1st) 7 cops!!!!

You are wrong again. Constantine invented the Catholic Church. While Christianity actually existed before Constantine, it was actually a minor sect of Judaism. Several of the European belief systems were combined with the belief of the Jewish people who had considered Jesus to be their Rabbi. Jesus Christ of Nazareth birthed Christianity in the area of Jerusalem. You must remember that Constantine did not actually become a Christian until he was an old man on his death bed. That was when he was baptized and professed that Jesus is Lord. During his life he did not surrender to Christ. He simply changed the law so that it was no longer illegal to be Christian. Which was quite prudent of him given that Christianity was steadily growing and soon he might have been fed to the lions.

1) All officers involved be taken off duty without pay, and fully prosecuted;

I agree taking someone’s life is most severe. I never said it wasnt, but we will never fix the black on black crimes in our communities if we turn a blind eye to the underlying issues which include both male and female counterparts. … We’ll just agree to disagree on the rest. People should really sit down and have these “real” types of discussions even though they may make you angry and want to fight, but in the adult stage of life you’re supposed to be able to have a disagreement without resulting to juvenile behavior which is often the case. Not saying you did that, but thats often how people react when you tell them something they don’t want to hear.

Aspell brought up a great point about women having too many babies. Usually in those types of situations the mother has to work and take care of all those babies by herself puttng them in the low income bracket and well let’s face it some mothers put themselves before their kids….Some kids from those situations fall by the wayside and mesmerized by drug dealers and their money (since they don’t have any) along with the flock of females they keep. .., the false sense family and acceptance they find in a gang….This issue is one of those underlying problems that contribute whether directly or indirectly…I

However, I don’t mean to cause an argument, just an open discussion and I do realize how unjust and upsetting these situations were. History repeats itself except now they have badges, financial power, control of the media, they still use our own people to punish and control us, brought in drugs, guns, made us more materialistic..You think Gucci, Louis V, and Prada give a damn about your community but yet we spend all our dough buying that shit when you can get the same thing from the guy on the corner for $10. You’re paying for someones name or brand and it didn’t cost them 1/4 of the amount you spin to manufacture it (upgraded form of mental conditioning). I’m not saying all white people are bad (so please dont make that assumption), because there’s good and bad people in every race and gender. This is something that was started long before we got here and has since advanced.

Enough of this ish about black on black violence. The pigs are PAID to PROTECT and SERVE us. They are not paid to murder us. They need to be held to a higher standard. This is about white crack pig scum MURDERING our black men. And getting away with it every time. Don’t you realize they actually enjoy and get a real kick out of murdering a black man just for the fun of it. It makes them feel powerful and God-like. They are getting away with doing whatever they like to us. I mean, honestly, what the HELL made those crackers think it was OK for them to sodomize Abner with the broom handle?? Admittedly in the Louima case they did get punished but it astounds me how these crackers think they can abuse and murder blacks just for fun.
