After Tuesday’s historic events, U.S. President Barack Obama gets to work in the Oval Office on Wednesday morning in Washington, DC.
President Obama (joined by Vice President Biden) signed his first five executive orders on Wednesday. Obama’s orders dealt with a freeze on some government salaries, a ban on lobbying his administration after leaving, and loosening of the way the federal government interprets the Freedom of Information Act.

Well, I didn’t vote for Obama, but it is because I’m a fischal conservative that doesn’t believe in Big Government. (As you many know the Government can’t manage their way out of a paper sack). Billions go unaccounted for. Remember during the Clinton Administration when no one knew where 8 BILLION dollars went for Education? If Obama wants to help the Economy, he needs to have some kind of auditing system to see if the $ actually makes it to where it is suppose to go. I met a teacher who stated that an inner city school was budgeted to receive MUCHO DENERO but they didn’t even have books & the school was falling apart! Where did the $ go. Also, there’s a lot of stupid pork out there that needs to be cut off from the get go; he can then put that $ back into the Economy. States needs to cut off funding to illegal aliens and stop achor babies. I live in Texas, and whew, don’t get me started. No, I’m not a racist because I’m white and am against illegal immigration. I’m old enough to see that they have taken jobs that use to belong to legal Texans. Housing/Construction Industry. I remember whites, blacks, and legal mexicans had those jobs/businesses. There were a lot of black brick layers, tile layers, etc and they’d do those jobs and has their own businesses and were the contractors…illegals took those over as Construction companies took advantage of the cheap labor, not paying benefits, etc and the illegals went below any of the brick layers costs and put them out of business; the same with roofing, sheet rocking, our legal residents got screwed in that regard. So, these “infastructure” jobs I hope go to LEGAL AMERICANS! Although his economic advisor Robert Reich stating the infastructure jobs should not go to “white” construction workers or highly skilled professionals but to minorities, long unemployed, and women. Shouldn’t they just go to whoever is qualified? Hello, bridges, etc not be built by skilled professionals? Why did he mention race, that was so racist, Obama is for change and that was blatant racism. Also, minorities are QUALIFIED, they were doing it BEFORE the illegals took over. (At least here in Texas)…that’s probably why some of them are unemployeed to, those that did those kinds of jobs here did it for GENERATIONS!
Sorry for venting. I just hope Obama isn’t politically correct like so many other politicians. Bush didn’t do anything about securing our borders because greedy Corporations capitalized on the cheap labor of illegals; and so did other businesses. I hope he does something about NAFTA that took our manufacturing jobs out of America. How many of ya’ll had a family member that use to work at a steel mill, or other types of factory. I remember ppl made good money and got raises; then the greed kicked in w/the help of NAFTA and there went American jobs. I’ll give Obama a chance, I didn’t vote for him but he is my President. I’m glad he brought up US jobs being outsourced. Factories closed here and went to China/Mexico/India…total BS! He’s right, Corporate Greed and the morons at Wall Street helped screw up the economy…(and so did Fannie/Freddie Mac & Dems in Congress)…you see, Republicans & Democrats screwed up this country. I wish the guilty would admit it and REPENT and not do it again…but you know politicians, poli (many) tics (blood sucking leeches!)
