POLITICS: WEEKLY ADDRESS / BALTIMORE MAYOR INDICTED / BLAGOJEVICH IMPEACHED

Saturday, January 10, 2009

In this week’s address, President-elect Barack Obama highlights the challenges facing our struggling economy and introduces a report by Drs. Christina Romer and Jared Bernstein that confirms the American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan will save or create 3-4 million jobs.

BALTIMORE MAYOR INDICTED

Mayor Sheila Dixon listens during a news conference on Friday. A Maryland grand jury indicted her on 12 criminal counts, including theft and perjury, for alleged official misconduct beginning when she was a councilwoman.

Prosecutors say Dixon received a number of gifts from developers and didn’t properly disclose them. Additionally, for four years she misused holiday gift cards intended for needy families to buy herself clothing and electronics and as gifts for members of her staff.

In a statement, Dixon said she’d been unfairly accused and that she wouldn’t step down as mayor. “I am confident that I will be found innocent of these charges. I will not let these charges deter me from keeping Baltimore on the path that we have set, or from carrying forward the significant progress we have made thus far,” she added.

BLAGOJEVICH IMPEACHED

Gov. Rod Blagojevich was impeached Friday by the Illinois House of Representatives. It sets the stage for a trial in the state Senate that could remove him from office.

I am tired of black folks getting caught up in political corruption. When they get in office they need to be trying to set examples and support the legacy of those who paved the way so they could take those seats. This shit is getting old!!! Quick as hell.

And I’m from Chicago and I can say that it seems as if the officials here do have that MOB mentality. Our mayor is something else too. I hope I don’t get a boot on my car for making that statement!

I’ve read about The Sheila Dixon in the Wall Street Journal, her story sounds very unfortunate. It would be a damn shame if the baltimore mayor gets charged over some “holiday gift cards.” You always have to watch your every step when you’re in a high profile position…especially in politics.

It looks like their trying to find a reason to bring a sister down just when she was making progress, bringing Baltimore out of the gutter. This is an expert from WSJ:

“The indictment comes just as the city is witnessing a tenuous turnaround. Baltimore’s murder rate fell 17% in 2008 from the year before. Many credit Ms. Dixon, who brought in a new police commissioner and directed the force to shift focus to the most-violent repeat offenders and away from petty crimes.

The city recently registered a small population increase for the first time in four decades, and its middle schools reported improved test scores last year.”

This is why I laugh at the black people who think that Obama is going to change things or that he is somehow on the up and up. To be a politician, you must be a liar and a thief. The higher on the political totem pole you ascend, the better a liar and a thief you are. There’s nothing new or even wrong about Blago selling the Senate seat. From the time of ancient Greece and Rome; all political seats are bought, especially Senate seats, because the “vote” (opinion) of the average “citizen” (peon) doesn’t count (Ecclesiastes 10:19). If the opinion of the masses was relevant, why did the mass media feel the need to contantly report how much money Obama’s campaign generated? It was an obvious subliminal message. Blago just happened to get caught on tape talking reckless and now he must be hung out to dry by his compatriots, so that the facade of democracy can be perpetuated over the masses. There is not one good, black politician. Not ONE. If there was a black politician that actually wanted to change things, they would die in a “car accident”, “plane crash”, be forced out of office, or what have you. These black devils just snort coke, and have bisexual toga party orgies with their white masters behind closed doors. Those are the perks of governmental office.

THANKS CL for keeping us young folks posted on “real” issues.
However, I will like to comment on those speaking negative aganist our blks in office.
First off too me, mostly all politicians(which are human beings) are corrupted and crooked, 2nd nobody is perfect and Blks are not the only ones in office that get caught up in some drama or something shady. Please do your research before you assume such foolishness. If you do not believe in our people who esle will? We have to stop speaking soo negative on each other and start believing in change. Obama, yes is a HUMAN BEING but he has done something many people before our geneartion once believe was an impossiblity. He became AMERICA’S FIRST BLK PRESIDENT. Obama broke that belief because ppl like myself and others didnt give up on possibilities and change. And I never will. Thats how you succeed. And thats how dreams become reality. If you dont believe in good then the negative will continue to gain power and dominate. Never give up on change.

11.

Ms.Boondocks

Saturday, January 10, 2009 /

Once you give up on hope, hope gives up on you. I will never hang my head because one or two or maybe three people set some bad examples for our ppl…where theres bad theres good…..not all blks are bad…not all people are bad…theres good in all of us we have to exercise and promote to the world..that you must be fearless and never give up on faith or change…because through God anything is possible. Stay fearless.

Gift Cards! Wow! We know that ALL politicians are corrupt, and to get to any coveted position where you can make change on a mass scale, well, you more than likely have to sell your soul. I mean, even if if you have good intentions, you have to let the powers know that you are “one of them” before they really accept you and let you move. You have to get a little dirt on ya. Then, guess what, when you become “one of them”, they got something on you and you better believe they will use it on any black a** that gets out of line… Any black a** that starts thinking their title actually matters… Any black a** that tries to implement too much positive change. Especially positive change for black people. She was just a pawn, in their game.

@Ms. Boondocks

Sis, obviously that comment was for me and let me tell you, first off, you can keep the idealistic speeches to yourself because I’m grown. Alot of you black women are heavily into the political process and you push that nonsense on your young sons. You have the nerve to speak about “hope” and “change” and you cannot name one politician, black or white, that has ever done anything for the black community. Then on top of that, many of you black women try to make the Most High complicit in your buffoonery. No, it is YOU that wants change in America, not the Most High. Stop speaking for Him because you do not know Him. Many of you black people are so blind, it is pathetic. America is in the worst state that it has ever been in arguably. The value of the dollar has plummeted through the basement. The country that was built off of the blood of our ancestors is about to fall, and you, like the good slaves that you are, want to hold it up.

You have the nerve to act as if you speak according to knowledge, lol. Everything in your post was according to opinion. The fact of the matter is that most of you black people, particularly most of you black women, want the white man’s system to maintain itself because it allows you to glorify your own vain ego and establish your own sense of order. Hope is Christ and the promise that He made to return (I Tim 1:1), not Barack Obama. That proves that you black people have fell for the snare that was put forth to set this man up as a “savior”. I’ll tell you what though sis. You sisters keep teaching your sons that bullsh*t. When they grow up hating themselves and end up getting shot by a cop or another black man, I’ll see you on the news with Al Sharpton.

The charges against Ms. Dixon are just that: CHARGES. They have to prove that she did what they allege. As a recent transplant from Baltimore, I can say that the city never did better than when she took office, and the ONLY reason these petty charges are surfacing is cause she’s a Black woman, doing what ALLLLLLL those old White men couldn’t/wouldn’t do when they were in office. I won’t believe any of it till it’s proven.

I agree with #1…all these political scandals that are unfolding one by one is sickening!!! On a lighter note, in the midst of all this corruption in politics I’m proud to say that our future President is a man of integrity. I know that the economy is in bad shape and that Obama has a tough job ahead of him but I do believe he, and his team can take this country to new heights. As he already stated, a miracle is not going to happen over night, but we all must be willing to put forth the effort and strive to bring this country back to the top, where we belong!!!

Hey Judah, I respect you, because you write your opinion and facts with bible verses as references. I have not seen to many that represent in that way. I also enjoy you because you are convicted about your beliefs and you don’t let the women on here apply pressure or lean on you in any particular way (I am a black woman as well). However, I have looked at Ecclesiastes 10:19 and some of its surrounding verses. I humbly ask, what does it have to do with your statement?

These are truly the last days. This facade of “justice” that is being strewn across media outlets is absolutely laughable. So America is NOW catching on to the fact that these “elected” officals are corrupt! and NOW we want to act as if democracy is what we stand for by “calling out” corrupt officials. Hm where was this “calling out” when Bush and his administration was is office huh?

Beware people, this is just all a ploy to make you all think that you have your beloved “America” back in your hands. This is all part of a greater plan. They are simply scapegoating a few politicians here and there to keep you from the truth.

All politicians are corrupt. Period. Judah and Ami expressed this perfectly.

At one point, I too felt that perhaps Obama could be that change but I quickly realized that he is just an extension of the greater plan to decitfully subdue the American people’s anger. After seeing how he said he had no knowledge about National American Union (NAU) on TV. For a future national leader or any politician for that matter to not have any knowledge of this is shocking. Which convinces me that Obama is either 1) Liar, 2) Dim, 3) Great actor with a hidden agenda.

After watching Lou Dobbs story on CNN about Obama’s knowledge about the NAU I was able to eliminate choice 2 but know look what I’m left with…

I could be wrong but we will see how this unfolds…

Most politicians are given this false sense of power. Power yields greed and corruption. Whether you’re black or white doesn’t matter. Politicians get sucked into the “system” which is bulit on lies, immorality, lip service to the public and sycophancy to the higher offices.

Obama is untested, but as far as past history goes, I don’t remember a single 100% honest, transparent politician who made it high in US politics.

I use to work for both Democrats and Republicans and for people to come on this site and unfairly clump all politicians into one basket is outrageous. The honest politicians who really are making a difference do not get ratings therefore they are not covered. For example, a new GOP hopeful named Schock is only 27 years old and has done alot of good for communities in Illinois. Instead, who are you hearing mostly about…Gov. Blago because drama sells. Let Schock get into trouble with a prostitute or is accused of stealing money, and I guarantee that you will hear about him.

The change that Obama was talking about comes over time, it does not come overnight. The American people continually re-elected the same losers therefore its going to take years to slow down corruption in Washington. As far as the black community goes, we need to stop asking ourselves what has a politician done for us, we need to ask what are we willing to do for ourselves to bring about change. Obama cannot do this thing alone.

@Ami

The book of Ecclesiastes is written verse by verse, independent of each other. Some of the verses have a continuation of thought into the next verse or from the previous, but many do not. It was just Solomon giving his thoughts on the dynamics of life and what the motivations of man are. Money answers all things as in, it is the key mover of man in his carnal mind. This is why it links up with Blagojevich auctioning off the Senate seat to the highest bidder and Obama’s campaign generating the highest funds. The government and how it is run has nothing to do with the will of the people. It is the money, and who can generate it. That is why money answers all things. Even today, there is a saying, “Money talks”.

Also, Dixon does not represent me as a black person. She represents a culture of corruption that has been allowed to flourish by the people. See, when I see corrupt politicians I don’t just blame the politicians, I blame the people who continue to elect them without question. Trust me, this isn’t the first time Dixon has displayed questionable behavior, this is just one of the few times she has been called on it.

Judah . We have this debate often with politics. Although I agree whole heartedly with MOST politicians being liars and theives. We as a people still owe so much to the many men and women that died for us to have the right to vote. Now we have “conspiracy theory” dreamers like you two who have these obscure tghoughts that the government is “out to get us”. GET OVER IT!!!!! You keep making reference to how black people feel about President Obama as I said before (not that your opinioon doesn’t matter) Your judging Obama on a job he hasn’t even started yet and its not fair. I don’t know who you’re talking to but obviously they are not as intelligent as you are if they think President Obama is some kind of savior. Idon’t understand why you can’t be like the rest of America and be proud and happy for the accomplishment that he has made by being the first black president.

31.

JUDAH

Saturday, January 10, 2009 /

@Katz

First off, who are you, lol? Who the hell are you to tell me what I should think, or that even worse, I should be like the rest of America? You must be a damn idiot. Th men and women that “died” for “our right to vote”, died in vain because they were misled by black leaders that were watchdogs for the elite. You probably won’t grasp that. Where did I mention a “conspiracy theory”? Why is it that when a thought is presented that cannot be ingested by a peabrain moron, they try to demean that thought? Nowhere have I judged Obama on the job that he will do for America, because he doesn’t work for America, he works for the elite. America is a corporation; it has a corporate structure, and anyone who knows anything about corporations knows that excutives in corporations serve those ABOVE them, not beneath them. Idiot. This is why he’s called a “president”, and not a “king”. Did you know that the original 13th amendment stated that no ruler in America was allowed to give themselves the title of “King” in what was known as the “Title of Nobility” Amendment? When the British invaded in 1812, the amendment had already been passed but they burnt the records. Now examine that, because the 13th amendment is allegedly the amendment that “freed the slaves” when it was ratified in 1864. You can’t have two 13 amendments. So what does that mean? I’ll let you be the judge.

Obama “presides” over the corporation known as America. A corporation whose stock is dropping, which we see the effects of now. In any corporation, the president is appointed by a board of trustees, in this case, they are your international bankers and oil magnates. You really think that the average braindead American has a say, or should have a say, in who will run the “most powerful country in the world”? You believe that, lol? At your job (if you work in corporate America), do you get to vote on who will be over you? Give me a break with the stupidity. I tell you what sis, keep dreaming and watching Oprah ok?

Happy New Years All! Especially you Judah!

I am also from Baltimore and I have to tell you the reason why we are so drug ridden is that politicians and drug dealers are very much alike. And in our city the two lines blur so much. Our politicians have been paid off by drug dealers for years. So if you break down the mentality of a dealer and that of a politician they are very much the same.

And I just had this discussion, that in fact I agree that all politicians are the same black, white, or Hispanic.

When Barack Obama was elected it was very inspiring to the best human part of us who want to believe that things will change. But I implore people to take it for face value and don’t become disillusioned to the fact that Obama may be just another president with his own agenda.

But also Judah, don’t persecute him either. Because we don’t know his true person so we go on hope and faith and that all we have. But we also must deal in truth and reality.

I have my opinions of George Bush and many events in his term that if white people new they would be devastated because they don’t deal in truth. But we must hold that same ideal to ourselves.

Thats my two cents, keep the change
I have to watch my Ravens!

To be intelligent you sure deal with a lot of ignorance such as the name calling. Someone didn’t agree with you and you personally attacked them instead of imparting further ‘truths’. As all truth is relative especially those that deal with politics. Politics in itself is not the truth, but someone’s belief and sweetheart you have a great deal of politic with you and we are not all your followers so get over it! And stop calling people idiots. Intelligent, well rounded people like yourself just don’t do that. Peace and Love, one sister to another.

As for Ms Dixon, has anyone responded positively on the change in Baltimore. Look at the facts. If I were a conspiracist as JUDAH, I would begin to think that her positive change provoked all the negativity around her office–as someone did mention earlier.

And what is funny to me is The plans the Obama have gather from differrent groups sounds alot like McCains plans, minus the rich people tax which I said in October will not happen. Notice how how he is not throwing it in his face. I true statesmen no matter what you think of him.

I think these weekly internet address are over rated and costly and un needed. regardless of what happens with the financial issue what he dose about Gaza and Iran and if we are attacked again will determine weather are not he will have a chance in 2012. if you live in Texas put your vote in for Rick Perry.

@Giggly Doyle

Sis, comments like yours are what lead to the name-calling, lol. The word “ignorant” means “to not know”, so please refrain from using the word outside of it’s proper context. You make yourself look simple. As far as the name calling is concerned, both she and yourself called me a “conspiracy theorist”. That is a “name” and it is an idiotic comment, so I called her an idiot. Aristotle said that “We are what we repeatedly do”. If you repeatedly make idiotic (meaning unlearned) comments, you are an idiot. I believe that the name “IDIOT” probably fits you as well. Had either one of you just asked why I believe what I believe instead of attempting to speak as if you knew what you were talking about, denigration would not have been necessary. Since neither one of you did, it is necessary (Prov 27:5, Ecc 7:5). That comes from many black womens’ mentality that they are smarter than every black man and should never ask him anything. A “conspiracy theory” is a belief that cannot be proven. Everything that I believe in; I can prove, and if you’re a black person that does any research, you would find similiar information. Knowledge of history and current events cannot be found in hood novels or books prescribed by your white college professor, so you should put both of those down for a moment if you want to acquire real wisdom.

In the scriptures, Christ called his opposers “vipers”, “serpents” (Matt 23:33), “foxes” (Luke 13:31,32), etc. Paul called his foes “dogs” (Phil 3:2), and Peter killed those that tried to deceive him (Acts 5:1-11). Being called an “idiot” for making an idiotic (unlearned) commentary should not be taken to heart. It should lead to correction by the idiot so that they will no longer be idiotic (Prov 9:8,9). Furthermore, truth is not relative, perception is. 1+1=2. That is the case anywhere on earth as well as anywhere in the galaxy. You just choose to be subverted by your own vain opinion (Prov 16:25, Col 2:8, Heb 13:9, etc.). It is what it is, and I have no idea why you commented on people “following me”, lol. I state my case like anyone else and keep it moving. Whether anyone agrees with me or not is inconsequential to me. All that being said sis, it’s nothing personal, I have love for all my people. Even the idiots (I’m kidding). You just have to raise your level of understanding (Prov 4:7).

@”I’M ALWAYS RIGHT”

Ain’t I, lol (I John 2:20)? I’m kidding. Nice name.

He has already done more in a matter of months, what George Bush did in 8 years. However, that is nothing new, in America; the Black man has to work twice as hard to be considered half as good as his white counterparts.

If you people believe politics is sport that is played fair, I have a bridge in Brooklyn I’d like to sell you. Everybody in this game of politics plays flagrant; it is only illegal if and when you get caught. “Pay to play” is as American as apple pie. Why do you think a politician will spend millions of dollars on a campaign to get a job that will only pay him/her hundreds of thousands? Power. Putting yourself in the position to get the “gifts.”People and organizations have to pay these politicians so that the incumbent will look out for their interest. A person will donate 10 thousand dollars to a campaign so that “little Billy” will get an internship in the governor’s office. Or the construction company will give money to a campaign in order to get the contract to fix the roads. The construction company that’s working on I95 must have donated a decent guap, because they’ve been fixing that f*ckin’ highway for years..lol. It is all about you scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours type of thing.

Now, my detractors may say, “Then Dukesman, if you know these things, why are you such a staunch supporter of Barack? He is a politician, hence guilty of the same crimes.” That is a fair question..lol. Nevertheless, I believe Obama is cut from a different cloth. Yes, he might have turned his head whenever he saw unscrupulous acts being carried out and he might have dabbled with some of these corrupt politicians. I believe he had to, in order to move up in the position to change it. Like my grandmother used to tell me: “Son, you have to kiss a$$ before you can kick it.” Now that Obama is the leader, he can reform politics and for once, put these politicians to work for the American people. Now if he comes in and it’s politics as usual, then I will gladly eat crow, but I am not ready to pass judgment without giving him a chance to make changes.

Whoa, it seems like politcians are getting caught left and right these days. Serves them right for abusing their positions. What happened to Mayor Sheila Dixon reminds me of what just happened in my home town. The mayor here was just indicted for bribery. They allegedly have tons of evidence that he has been accepting bribes and purchasing expensive gifts with the taxpayers dollars ever since 2002. I personally wasn’t surprised that he had done shady deals, there was always a supsicion and word of mouth that he had done it for years but was never caught and no proof had came out yet. I think the authorities probably knew from the time he started doing it, they was just waiting for him to keep setting himself up so deep so that they could build a strong case against him and guarantee jail time, most likely the same thing happened with Sheila Dixon. What’s done in the dark will eventually come to light.

These charges are frivilous and made to sound all evil and sinister like she was a plotting thief or something. Bogus! and I bet they want to lock her up for 10 to 15 years for Walmart cards and you got drunk drivers like Lindsey and Paris that just get a slap on the wrist. She should just be made to pay back the crap and do community service but no time. Always trying to put people in jail over the least offense without any mercy. Some of these sentences are evil and don’t fit the crime. We have to watch these laws and protest them because for every new law, we are more likely to get the maximum sentence or close to it. They should go after the people that gave the cards also as if they were trying to bribe her to give them contracts/unfair advantage instead of just targeting her for taking the bait. Call out all the wrong not just one part of it.

So Sheila Dixon took some “gifts” and didnt properly disclose them. What are these gifts? Is it a car, a house, a trip, a plane? She supposedly misused some holiday gift cards to buy items for her self and staff.. R U kidding me…. Ive been to Baltimore and can honestly say I dont plan on visiting again but I am pretty sure there are much more pressing matters then the mayor using some gift cards.

@ Judah

I was reading your comments and although I disagreed w/ 99% I understood your position and felt you brought a nice contrast to the discussion, but once I hit 31 you really lost all credibility. I am not a fan of the Anne Coulter approach to political commentary and that is basically what I feel you sunk to. Inflammatory statements and remarks degrade your overall message and frankly you come off as a conspiracy theorist. The reason the media did somuch coverage on Obama’s campaign money’s was b/c it was unprecedented. When his opponents were running out of money his campaign was still bringing in the cash. It takes money to run ad’s on television, radio and in newspapers when his opponents were trying to budget from state to state he was still going strong. You beat us over the head w/ scripture followed by negativity and name calling then you basically throw black women under the bus because its clearly our fault America is in ruins. You post as if you want America to crumble to its knees. Is it so maybe you can come to our rescue? Will you be that politician that single handedly saves the our community? Will you teach our young men since thier mothers cannot? Maybe you should have run for president so we could have a pure, decent, god fearing, homophobic, zealot running this grand corporation we call America.

Now I took your posts and twisted your words to fit exactly what I wanted to say. I took all the negative and completely discounted the positive just to get my point across. You did the same thing in a few of your posts and isnt that the same thing politicians do.

All of these politicians that are being put on blast for their wrong doings and getting in trouble for them are just a bunch of peons. This government along with other governments in this world are all more crooked than the letter S. Most politicians in office now are all part of some type of secret society conspiring to take over the world. What’s scary is that they are getting closer to doing so day by day. This conspiracy started the day that this country was established. If you think that I’m lying do your research. Look up New World Order, Council on Foreign Relations, Bilderberg Group, Illuminati, and the Freemasons. Osama bin Laden didn’t bring down the Twin Towers, George Bush did. Jet Fuel don’t even burn hot enough to melt steel. If those buildings would’ve pancaked like they claim, then their would have been floor after floor stacked on top of each other. Those buildings also should’ve taken a lot longer to collapse, each building only took about ten seconds to fall, free-fall speed. Bush needed a reason to pass the Patriot Act so he blew them up to scare the country. His brother was head of security of both buildings, but his contract was up the day before or the day of 911. Don’t that seem kind of odd? Open your eyes and your bibles, Revelations, the end time is near. Take a closer look at Obama, he is just a puppet for the Illuminati and Freemasons. The only presidents that were not Freemasons were assissinated, A. Lincoln and JFK.

@WHY

This must be, “I want to get denigrated by Judah day.”, lol. I’ll be happy to oblige. Let me ask you something. Why do you continue to address me? The last time your monkey ass addressed me, you made an even bigger ass than you normally make in trying to tell me who wasn’t black in history. Are you jealous? Do my comments make you feel inadequate that there are black men that can make you feel as dumb as you never knew you were? Let me tell you something, n*ggers like you disgust me. Where do they make you n*ggers at? Is there a monkey ass n*gger factory somewhere that’s mass producing clowns like you? You have no knowledge whatsoever, but you’re intent on speaking and spouting your nonsense so that everyone can know that you’re a complete retard. You’re not missing something, you’re missing alot of things, such as: 1) Self-knowledge 2) Knowledge of history 3) A brain to store that knowledge in if you had it.

The Bible has nothing to do with white people, it never has, and it never will. If you can disprove that; please do so, and while you’re doing that, name the white people in the Bible. Can you prove anything that you say or are you just another ridiculously obtuse, stupid, loudmouth black woman? Cite a book, an article, a treatise….anything, please. Just prove something or stick whatever is normally in your mouth back in it. Another question; why are certain black women, i.e. yourself, so perturbed by criticisms of hom*sexuality? Are you a l*sbian? Is your mother? Black men really have to start thinking about why so many black women get so virulently angry at any criticism of the h*mosexual lifestyle. It’s actually indicative of the black woman’s fear and disdain of black male strength and dominance. I haven’t even mentioned h*mosexuality on any comments on this thread, so I have no idea what you’re talking about. I hope you’re happy now, and feeling mellowed out. I gave you your medicine. You’re the first turd I’ve ever spoken to before flushing.

I feel like Ken Griffey Jr. in his prime. I keep having to hit baseball head negroes out of the park. No disrespect to you but we have no fellowship; so I don’t give a damn what you disagreed with, nor what “credibility” you feel I may have or not have. “Credibility” entails “believing” what I’m saying. It’s very simple. Look it up. Or are you too lazy to do so, so you have to vent on someone that takes you out of your little house negro world of pseudo-comfort? You only have to “believe” a magician. Then again; that is the mindset of the average American, which is why you adhere to politics, which is inherently witchcraft. Politicians make a series of promises that they either cannot back up; or have no intention of backing up, and you either “believe” them, or you don’t. One of the main things I touched on in one of my earlier posts is how mesmerized many of you black women are by the political process and how you will believe anything as long as it is packaged lavishly. You prove that to a tee; because you seem as though you are familiar with my comments, so if so, you should know that I don’t believe in politics (as this entire thread should show to anyone with half a brain). Obviously you don’t have half a brain because you can’t see that I can’t wait for this land to fall, as prophecied by the holy scriptures. So why the HELL would I want to be president over this land? I’ma hit you with something, this place has already fallen. You just don’t know it yet.

Obama’s campaign was bringing in the cash because he was chosen by the international bankers. If you don’t understand who controls the money, which you don’t, why the hell are you trying to tell me how Obama has money given to him? Let me ask you something. Do you think he raised 300 million+ dollars for his campaign off of “donations”, lol? Let me ask you another thing. Why was Obama at the wailing wall in Jerusalem with a yarmulke on? Many of you sisters need to pull your heads out of the sand, but you won’t because you’re too proud to do so. If you’re so worried about the young black male (which most of you sisters ARE NOT), then the first thing you would be doing is teaching them to be spirtually REMOVED from this land, not attach themselves even more to it. You won’t do that though because most of you sisters have been thoroughly indoctrinated, and like parrots, you can only faithfully repeat what you been mistaught and mistold….like Eve in the garden. I don’t beat anyone over the head with scripture. That’s just how I present my thoughts. If it offends you, you should have the word “JACKA$$” tattooed on your forehead for diligently reading something that you know will anger you. At least then, people will know your name and intellectual abilities before you start to speak and they’re able to confirm that you’re a jacka$$. Lastly, you didn’t take my post and twist it to fit a damn thing. You made an a$$ of yourself trying to execute a calculus theorem when you need tutoring in arithmetic. I notice that none of you sisters can come against what I’m saying. None of you can say, “That is not true because of this ‘law’, or that ’statute’, or this ‘event in history’”. Just a bunch of normal emotionalism, empty rhetoric, subliminal hate for the black man, and good house n*gger devotion to your master, the white man and this society.

Politics is the movie business for ugly people. The same low moral standard, backstabbing, cheating and lying. The only difference is these people are “educated” and working “in the community” so there is this false belief that they are decent and that SOME just “get caught up”.

Obama better use some of that half a billion dollars he raised to slide some stacks over to Blago. Because if this man gets a book deal, it’s going to be very interesting.

I am white and have realized that the ONLY excuse that the black community can come up with when a “sister” or “brother” gets into troulbe is the old favorite…….racism!!!

Time has proved, over and over again, that black mentality stops at playing basketball or football where the only criteria is physical strength and stamina. Mayor Dixon got caught, plain and simple, She assumed that being black in a predominatelt black city would cover her “little crimes”. Hey! Crime is crime, no matter how little it is!

So, instead of using the race card all of the time, why does not the black community sit back and take stock of itself and teach it’s youth the ways of progress instead of cheering them on to a life that is filled with motherfucker, ho, running drugs, axing a question, $200 sneakers when there is little food on the table and a golden cap for a tooth????

However I did not want to be the one to say anything out of fear of the evil, hateful, and vitriolic attacks from a so-called christian. I dont understand why everyone is so upset with the system? We the people elect these politicians but just because we elect them doesnt mean our work as citizens stop there. We entrust them with our community and then turn our backs and hope everything is ok.
But we have to do more than that.
Helping our community doesnt mean “Posting on bullentins” and acting like outraged animals.
Its a cut throat world. and not everyone is made to be perfect.
Where there is good there is evil.
I have faith and hope that things will change.
Do you?

This is exactly why I don’t like politics…politics is full of shysters…when are ppl going to learn that ppl will let u down…ppl put all their trust in man…these politicians only put band aids on the problems just so they can keep the American ppl happy for the moment…I must say I agree with Judah on this statement: Money answers all things as in, it is the key mover of man in his carnal mind. Politicians using trillions of US taxpayers/borrowed money from other countries to take care of the lies and thieving that been going on in this country…where do think ur money stored in banks go…that’s how they pay loans and when ppl default on loans, debts, etc…u think the government (SEC) didn’t know about the Madoffs, AIGs, IndyMacs, Fannie and Freddie…that’s the BS they say on tv…this is all a monopoly…and when are blk ppl going to stop saying if this was a white person…blah, blah, blah…I must say racism does exist…but if ppl know what they doing wrong is wrong, correct the behavior and stop blaming everybody for their wrongdoing…u won’t have to worry about if I was white I could get away with this and that…stop the BS…start doing what God set us to do on this earth that is by doing what is approved by him…if she did steal gift cards and used them for personal/staff use instead of giving it to the needy it’s dead wrong…I don’t care how much she did for B-More..stealing is wrong…point damn blank…greedy ass ppl is what I hate…

Judah, many surprises will await you in the afterlife.

Ami, why would you cosign with someone who apparently has such contempt with black women? You say you are a black female yet you align yourself with the likes of Judah? There are some “sisters” that will stay loyal to black men regardless of how mentally ill they are. Shame on you! Many great philosophers have said that the masses are too stupid to understand the day to day activities of a government…they are absolutely right.

Your duty as a citizen is simply to vote. Whatever goes on behind the scenes was never intended for you to hear. You wouldn’t know what to do with this valuable information anyway. Your just a mechanic, bus driver, teacher and etc…The masses are given small treats for being nice dogs. Treats such as taxes and social benefits etc…

Mayor Sheila Dixon is being put on trial for not cooperating with the big boys that she’s dealing with behind close doors (the ones were not suppose to know about). There are many other politicians who are doing worse. They are not being taken care of because they are complying to the rules of the game.

Politics isn’t for the rest of us. THEY ARE NOT WORKING FOR YOU. They only need you to vote them in.

What I know for sure being here since 94:

** People has always questioned her credibility. She has always been associated will controversy and accused of shady dealings.

** Although these charges are not proven, the fact that gift cards for needy families were used for luxuries for her fam and staff will be forever linked to her to me and many others. You best believe I wont vote for her to get a job at Walmart. Yes I know that politics is about lies and deceit to a degree but if you can’t keep something “small” like this under wraps you are not too smart.

** She is too arrogant and she probably felt like she was untouchable like so many others. I just hope now she doesnt start being so overly religious and start carrying, showing, and balancing the bible on her head every time she is on TV.

** Dont give her too much props for the lower murder rate– which I still dont believe. Baltimore murder count seem to be on average 1 body per day and the news already said that body count is way higher than this time last year under her admin. Those “good” numbers sound fishy to me. Because of her removing overtime for the police to police the streets because of budget cuts (doesnt make sense), Dont worry Baltimore will get its reputation back.

Dirty politics will always be around big and small, the big question is why do black folks in office think they can do what their white colleagues can do? Blacks will always have their cards pull no matter how small. Look at Bernard Madoff (the guy that stole $50 Billion from other investors) he is walking the streets (maybe on house arrest now). Now if IF a black man were able to do that and then get caught tell me where he will be? Not watching 106 and park I can tell you that…..

That you have so much knowledge is because you keep seeking the truth and you it appears you haven’t found it. Keeping looking for it in texts and you’ll find yourself contradictory. Your heart holds just as much truth and I’d like to see you come from there so as not to appear that all this knowledge you have separates you from real people. Knowledge can be power, however, too many times it fails you. You’re right, ignorance is “not to know”. There is more that is outside a book that needs to be explored in your case. Keep searching there and all your knowledge will come full circle. As for your name calling and your definitions of such, where is “monkey ass” (as you addressed WHY) defined in the dictionary.

Judah, you appear to be very angry, especially at black women. Please figure out why and then come back with a clearer heart and mind. Peace and Love. Alice.
