I watched the performance last night and it wasnt that bad. She started off a little weak with Disturbia, but as the set went on I think she got a little more comfortable and warmed up to the crowd and suprisingly she sounded good to me especially when she sang Rehab, I think she killed it!

I’m mad #10 talking about how entertaining she is but didn’t provide proof to back it up. You know, like was the crowd moving, were her vocals on point, how was her choreography? All you talking about is how she’s tall, pretty, thick thighs, pretty teeth, nice hair…blah blah blah. Hmph, I guess I can name another celebrity with those same credentials. I can probably name a few cause really when you’re rich, there is no excuse to look like sh*t on any given day when you can just pay for beauty. Can we get more posts on her actual talent and performance and less on her looks. Beauty only lasts so long. After we get tired of looking at Rihanna (unless she reinvents her look again, which I don’t see happening cause she’s changed hers so many times in her short 4 years on the scene) we’re gonna start looking at more important things like, I don’t know… TALENT.

Rihanna is far more than just a image as many make her out to be. Like I said, if you got the chance to see her live you would understand what I mean. I didnt even realize how *off* she sounded till I reached home @ 12 last night and pull it up on youtube. She was so entertaining, she worked the whole stage, SHE CAN DANCE (like really really well surprisingly). She is just an awsome performer. The only thing she is lacking is a suburb voice and thats something she cant chance. I mean you can go out and get 1000 voice training lessons but your voice is still not going to change. I caught this on tv because I’m in AZ and I must say that her stage presence was pretty amazing. This girl’s skin is beautiful, and alot of time guys it isn’t about who’s the best singer its about who can put on the best show. But I do think she has a pretty voice, Rehab is fire.

Ummm…for the person that said B’Day sold 8 million…try 6 million. Rihanna has milked the hell out of GGGB and she did sell more than Bey at just over 7 million WW, but Bey trounced her in US sales (over 3 million versus 2.3 for Rihanna) not to mention a sold out headlined world tour. Bey’s new album has sold 1.6 million in the states alone in just 3 months of release. Rihanna is at 2.3 with 86 weeks on Billboard. She has to work triple time just to keep up.

THe one thing i will give Rihanna credit for is being consistent on the charts for as long as she has, but she’s a pitiful performer. She’d better pray her next album is able to live up to the hype.

You guys are nuts. First of all, I don’t care for either Beyonce nor Rihanna. Everyone talking about Beyonce’s performances, but when she was in Japan, let me be the first to tell you, she was not the energetic diva many of you are pretending that she is. Now, I loved Single Ladies because she did emote energey, but her B’Day performance was sloppy, and tired. Rihanna, I just don’t appreciate her live performances, period (crickets). You guys are pumping these chicks up to levels they definitely do not deserve. Now, Tina Turner is my type of performer because truthfully you can get a workout from her. Even when Beyonce and Tina performed together, Beyonce could not keep up with her, period.

Everyone knows pics of Rihanna performing are usually a tad bit deceiving, but I watched The Pepsi Smash Concert and she was pretty good. She had a lot of energy, but same set as her other tours. its good to know most of yall have forgiving ears becuz that performance was no where near acceptable. and i am getting so ired of ppl saying bee copied riri. what the hell did she copy? she doesnt dress like her, or dance like her, or sing like her, hell their music couldnt be anymore different. as far as bee being more edgier, ppl were being edgy way b4 riri came. hell rihanna stole the edgy look from kelis if u wanna get technical. ppl stop maken excuses for this girl. its a shame that this girl sucks so much that when she sounds DECENT in a live performance yall think it was the shit.
