A premiere of the film “Notorious” over the weekend in North Carolina turned for the worse when shots fired inside the theater and hit a man:
Just after 9 p.m. Friday, police said Clive O’Connor was in a hallway at The Grand 18 Four Seasons Station when he got into an argument with an unidentified man. The man then shot O’Connor twice in the stomach and ran away.
O’Connor, 32, was taken to Moses Cone Hospital where he underwent surgery. The hospital said no information about O’Connor’s condition will be released.
Once police arrived at the theater…the crowd of about 700 moviegoers was evacuated. SOURCE
Actor Jamal Woolard, who plays Biggie in the film, was also at the Greensboro, NC theater when shots were fired but, managed to escape with no injuries. If this wasn’t enough, there was a stabbing incident at a “Notorious” film afterparty in New York on last night…
DWAYNE WADE’S DIVORCE GETS NASTY
If you haven’t heard already, NBA star Dwayne Wade is getting a divorce from his wife of six years and high school sweetheart Siohvaughn Wade.
The former Mrs. Wade makes some interesting demands and accusations in legal papers, including those of a STD infection and Dwayne being a bad father:
According to docs from recent divorce proceedings Siohvaughn, Wade’s soon-to be-ex wife, has a few minor complaints which include child abandonment, adultery, and the case of a nasty little STD infection she allegedly received from him.
She also alleges their one-year-old doesn’t even recognize the baller because he’s been so absent from the two kids they share. Siohvaughn is demanding the names of every one of his alleged sexual partners during their marriage, and it’s no secret that actress Gabrielle Union — Wade’s rumored GF — could possibly end up on that list. PETA INVESTIGATES BEYONCE’S MISSING DOG
PETA decided to do a little investigating on the whereabouts of Beyonce’s pet shih tzu after hearing reports that the singer abandoned her dog at her record label’s offices:
The PETA people wanted to make sure Beyonce hadn’t abandoned her pet – and that the pedigree mutt wasn’t just a music mascot at Columbia, so they made calls and investigated.
And now they’re happy in the knowledge Beyonce hasn’t dumped her dog.
A spokeswoman for PETA says…”We were happy to learn from Beyonce’s rep that, as we suspected, the Munchie tale is far from the truth, and that the dog hasn’t even been to the record company’s offices in months.”
The singer’s publicist has told the PETA researchers that Munchie is “a pampered pooch whom everyone adores,” adding Beyonce and her cousin, the dog’s main caretaker, are “still crazy in love with him”.
We all know that PETA has always had on hit on Beyonce after that stunt they pulled on her back in 2006.
I’m glad D-wade’s wife is standing up for herself. She was with him before he was “D-Wade” and had his children. It shouldn’t matter he’s in the NBA or not. IF he was sleeping around on her, he could of at least wrapped it up! Out of respect alone that she is the mother of his kids. Wow, i mean what NBA player hasn’t cheated on his wife? I know theres a few but..sheesh! That lifestyle seems to be wild as hell. Hope Gabrielle made him wrap it up cuz it seems like he may not know what the hell a condem is! Notorious movie: still haven’t had a chance to see it, but I heard its decent. BOO to people who gotta throw salt on everything!
Beyonce & PETA: the stunt they pulled on her earlier was mad funny. I heard about this dog rumour, sounded pretty fake to me!
I hate PETA. Yeah, we know they are here to protect animals but you know what sometimes they take things just a little too far.I think they act a little too important and take themselves way too seriously. So what if she left her dog at the record label’s offices. What, nobody there knows how to feed a damn dog. Is this a child we’re talking about? WTF is the world coming to.? Animals do not come before people. Anyone can start up an organization about anything. I’m starting up the PETR (People for the ethical treatment of Roaches). Anyone want to join?
IDK why I thought D.Wade was different from most NBA players…he was my hope for a somewhat faithful NBA husband. Ahh well I guess it’s just back to Grant HIll now! I know she’s pissed about how things went down, but some things are just unnecessary…and @ #5 i believe its see-o-vawn.
