♫ 50 Cent - Play This On the Radio (full) - listen
Check out this new track that G-Unit has been sending all over the net from 50 Cent entitled “Play This On the Radio,” which they claim 50 is coming hard on. This is coming from 50’s forthcoming project, Before I Self Destruct, and self destruct he did on this track. Typical, mad and angry 50 Cent. Honestly, I got a little offended myself listening to this track, but you know, to each his own. I guess he’s trying to generate some more hype considering that these two singles that he’s put out haven’t really done… much of anything.
♫ Kat DeLuna feat. Lil’ Wayne - Unstoppable (full) - listen
I never was a fan of Kat DeLuna, but I think this guitar-driven song is really an interesting direction they’re deciding to take with her, especially since she was sort of a dancehall artist before (she was made popular by her single, “Whine Up”). The track features Lil’ Wayne, and you know nowadays in the industry, people think that if you throw him a track, it’s bound to save it. I wish that Kat would show more of her vocal ability on her music, though, considering that she is a classically trained opera singer.
♫ Ginuwine - Even When I’m Mad (full) - listen
A lot of material from Ginuwine’s forthcoming album has been leaking. The most recent is “Even When I’m Mad,” which was produced by The Underdogs. Even though it’s good to hear new music from Ginuwine (100% Ginuwine is one of my favorite albums), I am really eager to hear the new material that he’s done with Timbaland. It’s been a minute since they’ve collaborated, since his album, The Life, back in the early 2000’s. It’s good to see that he’s still got it, but I need to hear something stellar.
♫ Sammie feat. Blake Kelly - Turn You Out (full) - listen
I was really digging Sammie’s new single, “One Way,” that he release a couple of months ago, so I was eager to see what else he had up under his sleeve. I was pretty impressed. “Turn You Out” is okay, but not much different from anything else that any of these other R&B guys are doing. I really wanna see Sammie take it to another level, ’cause I think he could be an asset to the industry. The guy can sing, he just needs the right hit for radio.

I didn’t even know Kat was a classically trained opera singer. She is, then she better show that vocal range, I wish I would be a classically trained vocal singer, and dumb down my vocals. People don’t know it, but, alot of artist do that, to fit their genre. It’s sad, use your god given talent, don’t dumb it down.

I generally find Sammie’s stuff kinda average; its generally nothing new or innovative. With that being said his music isn’t bad and I enjoy alot of his singles. Turn You Out is cool. I could totally hear it on the radio because it fits the trend in music right. I would just like to see him do something more creative.
Everybody else I don’t really care….

Kat Deluna’s new single with Lil Wayne is something I totally would’ve never expected. I hope it does well! 50 Cent is gonna bomb, he is trying to resolve the verse with Lil Wayne, “I Hope you die ugly” but he failed miserably saying something about “don’t get yourself killed now”. hahah he’s a joke.

The only thing that sounds “okay” (but still not my iPod worthy) is the Ginuwine song. Sammy’s songs was wack and so was Kat’s. I agree both have great voices BUT they need better material. Oh and I didn’t even bother listening to 50’s. He’s been done for a minute lol.

I’m gobsmacked thta Kat is classically trained, in opera! Wow thats a shock considering she sounded dreadful when she sang the american anthem! She claims to have 5 octaves, which is highly unlikely considering the only singer who is proven to have that range is Mariah.
Kat currently sounds no better than Rihanna, cassie or ciara. Her songs definately don’t show her supposed vocal talents.

If Kat is classically trained why didn’t those skills come through when she butchered the National Anthem.

And the Ginuwine sounds weak & a bit dated…like something he recorded RIGHT after “Stingy”…
…in the same studio session…
…that same night.
I’m OBVIOUSLY impressed, huh? lol

When these artists say they’re “classically trained” opera singers, it means they went to the Performing Arts High School. You’ll better stop taking these artist bios literally. I know the CL crew knows better than to believe that foolishness.

50-He’s really trying to show he’s angry on this track and at Oprah? Oh come on, I wouldn’t haven’t you on the show either. Even if she wanted to, her audience would not take kindly to that. Business is business. The song isn’t anything special/ I really think 50 has lost his spark. He has fallen off. I know Ja is somewhere laughing right now. It’s far fetched to think it would happen, but it would be crazy if Ja came back on top and 50 flopped. That would be the ultimate revenge. lol
Kat Deluna-This song is awful. I read somewhre that she was classically trained in opera too. If it’s true she has the chops. You can sing her ass off and still be a pop singer. (i.e. Mariah, Christina, many arists decades ago too many to name)
Ginuwine-I can’t listen to this song, I guess the file was deleted. I may try to find it on Youtube if I remember. I really want him to have a strong back as well as Usher. Both are good artists and all around good entertainers.
Sammie-The song is not bad, but not ipod worthy. I agree with Brian he has a nice voice, he just needs the right producer to really give him something to stand out.

*My mistake about Kat Deluna, I meant if it’s true about her being clasically trained, she needs to use the chops and not let them go to waste.
