Here’s some new music from Rihanna. Vocally, I’m not really impressed, but I actually am a little intrigued by the melody of the song, it wasn’t what I expected when the song first came on. The hook isn’t really my favorite, but I get more into the verses. Even though Rihanna is supposed to re-rereleasing Good Girl Gone Bad as a remix album, I am more interested in this edgier material that she’s supposed to be recording for the fourth album. She needs to just take it completely pop this time around.

Justin Timberlake is at work at his third solo studio album, the follow-up to the hugely successful and critically acclaimed FutureSex/LoveSounds. I’m glad to see that Justin is working with Timbaland again, because their chemistry is undeniable. Even though “Bigger Than the World” isn’t really the best, I am hopeful that this project will turn out as success. I’m hoping that Justin will work with Pharrell again, considering that they had some amazing material on his debut album, Justified.

So much music has leaked from Usher’s Here I Stand sessions, and I haven’t really been impressed with any of the material that was left off the album. But then again, I wasn’t really too impressed with the tracks that were actually on the album after listening to it a couple of times, so, that’s not much of a surprise. I’m just glad that Usher is getting back up with Pharrell and collaborating with Adam Levine. Hopefully he’ll put out something good.

Is it just me, or does Bobby Valentino not really sound all that great on this song? It sounds like there was no vocal producer in the studio when they recorded this song. I couldn’t get past the voice. The construction of this song just sounds really sloppy and all over the place. I’m not digging this at all.
I like the melody it is okay

I didn’t really listen to the other 2 songs. I was never into Bobby Valentino, and Justins song started off a little too slow for the mood that I’m in right now so I just turned it off.
Y’all know good and darn well that Rihanna cant sing!! Her voice on the CD is studio altered that’s the reason why she now has so many, what her stans would callem haters. Their is a big diference in real talent than in altered talent.
Altered talent gets songs where the beats and other stuff drown out the actual singer (Rihanna) then when she is to do live they throw in the lip syncing, backtracking, pre-recorded and the icing on the cake the backup singers.
Why do you honestly think the label is really trying to get everything out of this girl? They spent a lot of money on her new look and all this traveling and so fourth. As successful has she has been she still owes a lot out to a lot of people that’s why she want go away for a year or two, that and she knows she is getting ready to get bumped off. She is singing the same ole fast song with a beat to stay relevant now.

Usher’s lyrics aren’t great at all. “Her body is a rollercoaster I want to ride” is jacked from N.E.R.D.’s song She Wants To Move. ” I got a rocket in my pocket…blah, blah ruined it.
Justin’s song is sounding too much like everything else he’s released and sounds like leftovers from FS/LS. I’m also sick of people acting like Justin has brought Timbaland to the mainstream when it was clearly done with Aaliyah 13 years ago. (btw…Happy 30th B-Day tomorrow BabyGirl)
I don’t know what happened to Bobby V. His debut was awesome but he’s fallen ing to the abyss of cliched lyrics and production as well.

Obviously people are still buying GGGB, I mean If you dont like Rihanna she is not asking for anyone to listen to her music….she barely promotes anything but its still selling. Rihanna has good pop songs, they are not life changing but cute songs to have fun to. I have a feeling Rihanna will be around for a long time.
All the songs are either A) roughs. artists/songwriter will write the song & lay down a ROUGH version. Then, once in a state of comfort & familiarization, they will eventually finish the songs themselves, or give it to the artist that they’ve written it for, & that artist will complete it. B) Potential album filler. (songs on the album not slated as a single.) It is one out of the many, many songs they record. Which will, 9/10 NOT make the album, because 1) Its simply not good enough. Or 2) Its been leaked. LEAKED meaning, WE, the public, weren’t supposed to hear it. Someone’s engineer or any persons with access to the recordings (sometimes distributed intentionally with permission for promotional purposes), has released the record via internet. Every song an artist records will not be a hit record.These particular artists, in most cases, have released certified hits during the majority of their careers. Do not discredit their track record by listening to LEAKS. Buy their albums to get their best work.
