♫ Rihanna – How I Like It (full) – listen
Here’s some new music from Rihanna. Vocally, I’m not really impressed, but I actually am a little intrigued by the melody of the song, it wasn’t what I expected when the song first came on. The hook isn’t really my favorite, but I get more into the verses. Even though Rihanna is supposed to re-rereleasing Good Girl Gone Bad as a remix album, I am more interested in this edgier material that she’s supposed to be recording for the fourth album. She needs to just take it completely pop this time around.
♫ Justin Timberlake – Bigger Than the World (full) – listen
Justin Timberlake is at work at his third solo studio album, the follow-up to the hugely successful and critically acclaimed FutureSex/LoveSounds. I’m glad to see that Justin is working with Timbaland again, because their chemistry is undeniable. Even though “Bigger Than the World” isn’t really the best, I am hopeful that this project will turn out as success. I’m hoping that Justin will work with Pharrell again, considering that they had some amazing material on his debut album, Justified.

So much music has leaked from Usher’s Here I Stand sessions, and I haven’t really been impressed with any of the material that was left off the album. But then again, I wasn’t really too impressed with the tracks that were actually on the album after listening to it a couple of times, so, that’s not much of a surprise. I’m just glad that Usher is getting back up with Pharrell and collaborating with Adam Levine. Hopefully he’ll put out something good.

Is it just me, or does Bobby Valentino not really sound all that great on this song? It sounds like there was no vocal producer in the studio when they recorded this song. I couldn’t get past the voice. The construction of this song just sounds really sloppy and all over the place. I’m not digging this at all.

I agree with the person who said that Rhianna needs to step her vocal game up…she really needs to because to be honest she can’t sing and the only thing that is getting her by is her looks and maybe dating Chris Brown.
I don’t know if this has been posted already but the Justin song is not from his upcoming record. It’s for a female artist, more than likely for his artist Esmee.
I like the rihanna song its hot. I can see the girls and I dancing to this one on the way to the club.

Usher i dunno I’m biased on this man. Here I stand was not his best, but some artist can create an album just like the previous one. I think it show”s his growth as a man, but gheesh usher i do miss that confessions sexyness lol

Rhianna- is a very cute young woman, statuesque, body made for clothes. She is not a singer or very good performer. She is manufactured for the mainstream. Her star is fading, not just because fans are fickle but because fans grow up and realize the bs they were sold. The woman is pegged to do the remake of the last dragon hopefully she can act. However, she should save her money, there’s only so much Chris can help her with.
Usher- Hmmm, not feeling it. I guess he has to gather new material… cheat on his wife maybe?
Timberlake- Ha! I will never support him with my hard earned dollar, not ever. Yes a burner all the way.
Valentino- not my cup of tea…oh well!

It’s really sad that Rhianna is even in the game. Her voice is AZZ She may have other hidden talents but well they are hidden.

Ok well after listening to all four of these songs, heres what I think:
Rihanna – Her song is ok, I wouldn’t considered myself listening to the song all the time on my ipod but it would be a good club song to play once in a while probably just cause the beat is really tight.
Justin T. – The song is kinda of Eehh!! I mean I know its a demo for a woman singer[I probably would like it then] but I’m just not feeling it when he sings it. But I still got love for JT!!
Usher – I love Usher in all but lately I’ve been hearing some wack songs from him. He needs to step his game up. Now for some reason, I’m feeling this song[yeah, to me its ipod worthy]. It might just be because I’m feeling the beat and not so much of lyrics because they really don’t appeal to me.
Bobby V. – OK REALLY!!! What’s up with all these damn “Knock Knock’s” and “Beep Beep’s” kind of songs?? Lately all of his songs have been sounding the same. But forreal, I would put this song on my ipod[only because its a nice club jam].
Maybe they will comeback and hit us with those Wam-Bam-Thank You Mam type of songs they use to do, that made you say “Damn, I can’t stop listening to this song. =]
I have said it before…Brian..your so called review is more like a chit chat with your high school friends about some random song you heared from your brothers car..rather than an interestin write up of NEw songs you’ve been lucky to hear first..even if its three sentences..YOUR grammar (however intentional) and your actuall sentences just leave me thinkin who is this guy…REALLY..i’m no English major but I have much respect for your efforts and for this site..so I always expect more..so please
i like rihanna song because it is kind of different, bobby valention i love it, the beat i love slow beats like that.. but rihanna needs to improve her vocals really cuz it seemz like ciara has stepped her vocals up..usher and his song im not really feeling it i dont kno y im jus not feeling it…
