♫ THE NEW MUSIC REVIEW ♫

♫ Lil’ Mama – I’m A Diva (full) – listen
I didn’t think that Lil’ Mama was going to be doing another album, I just thought that she was going to continue to be a judge on MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew. Everyone’s a diva now. The production, although I’m not sure who is reponsible for it, sounds like Britney Spear’s first single from her album, Circus, “Womanizer.” I don’t know, some people said that they liked it, but I’m not really buying it.

♫ Rihanna feat. The Dream – Hatin’ On the Club (full) – listen
To me, Rihanna, The Dream and Tricky Stewart have undeniable chemistry. From the material that they produced together on her Good Girl Gone Bad project (“Umbrella,” “Breakin’ Dishes,” etc.), I would say that I have just about liked everything they’ve done together. I’m a little confused though, because I thought that Rihanna was going for a more edged-out, rock sound – records that sounded more like “Disturbia.” Perhaps these songs that have leaked have been all tracks leftover from previous sessions.

♫ The Dream feat. Busta Rhymes & Fabolous – Rockin’ That Thing (Remix) (full) – listen
This song is being remixed about as much as Keri Hilson’s “Turnin’ Me On,” but I ain’t mad at it. The Dream needed this song to take flight, ’cause that first single, “Let Me See the Booty” just wasn’t catching on. But it seems like I can’t escape this song on the radio or in people’s home stereos or even ringtones! The Dream supposedly shot a video for the track over the past weekend, with labelmates Electrik Red, as well as Christina Milian. Good to see The Dream working with Fabolous again, considering that he was on that first remix of The Dream’s first single, “Shawty Is A 10!”

♫ Bubba Sparxxx – That’s What I Do (full) – listen
I didn’t think that Bubba Sparxxx was working on any new material anymore since the last album on Purple Ribbon label didn’t work out. Honestly, I really like Bubba Sparxxx. I like his southern swagger, and I think he’s the only white rapper to come out that won’t ever be compared to Eminem. The song is supposedly produced by Timbaland, whom Sparxxx got his start with. It’s good to see Tim hooking up with old friends again, including Ginuwine for his new album.

WHY THE FCUK DOES RHIANNA CONTINUE TO MAKE US BELIVE SHE CAN SING!!!

THATS SONG WAS DEFO VOCALLY ENHANCED!!

    THE SONG IS WHACK WHACK!!

50′S AND 60′S POP DOES NOT GO WITH RHIANNA THATS SOLANGE TYPE..

OH LORD I FEEL SORRY FOR MY EARS THEY HAD TO GO THROUGH THAT!

  2. SweetThang729

I like the lil’ mama song… and I think she should sing more often…it’ll help her stay on the radio and keep mainstream…I just need her to get a stylist.

if it was anybody else singing that lil mama song, i’d be pretty good. but i just keep seeing lil mama’s dog face in my head. and i busted out laughing when she said she got “the finest clothes” LOL she can’t dress. for real.

  5. Miami

    Rhianna link not working

    =(

  6. Mr. Kane

I really like that Rihanna song.

And to the fools talking about her voice being enhanced, damn near all singers do that dummy. Stop hatin cause OBVIOUSLY she’ll CONTINUE to make music regardless of your opinion.

This reminds me nothing of Solange, so stop lookin for something to nag about.

If Solange had this song, it wouldn’t even have as much as a modern as this song has. Since she’s all about the old 50′s and 60′s days. Y’all can shut that up.

All this hatred is ridiculous and a waste of time. Babies are getting burnd alive in Gaza and you’re complaining about a song. GTFOH!

Lil mama was pretty good… a different sound for her. nice

  8. Give Me A Beak

The closest Rihanna has come to making a rock song is “Shut Up And Drive”. Disturbia is not an edgy rock song, it doesn’t even come close. The is nothing edgy about Rihanna. All she did was cut her hair and sex up her image. I’m not hating I’m just stating facts.

  9. keepin it real
