Great production, good voice. Can hear some influence from Lauryn Hill in there. Not to found of the video. It trips me out when they have these women arguing and so forth in the videos and then they have the need to push a man on the head or grab his face, etc. Then, the women watching it think it’s cute and they can try this mess at home (don’t try it on the west coast). HA!!!!!!! The sad things is…This society has dumbed men down so much that most men will take it. Sad.

I love this song, the album is hawt i love it…
I absolutely loved this video and song. If you know anything about graphics and the industry then you would know that this video was not cheap at all. In fact some of the more realistic looking videos are cheaper to make. Her album is decent for a first album. I like this song, Fearless, In Love With Another Man, and her past 2 hits. I really hope that she performs on the Grammys.

Jazmine Sullivan, I’ve been hearing a lot about how talented she is. Well, she is very attractive and she can sing, but singing material such as this and the outfit she is wearing, will not propell her to superstar status. The song was boring as well as the outfit she is wearing. However, I’m rooting for her.

This video appears to be a repeat from the scene of her simliar video; “Bust Your Windows”. INDEED as you stated:

Jazmine Sullivan is simply a breath of fresh air. Her material and style aren’t like anything I’ve heard before, and I appreciate that about her [as an artist]. I thought her video was great. I loved how she chose to go in a different direction with this one.
I’m almost embarrassed to say that I haven’t purchased her album yet. I bought a few songs, fell in love with them, but haven’t gotten around to investing in something I know will be worth the $15 I kick out for it.
This is my favorite song on the whole album. Loved it.
I like the song, but I have to agree, the video was boring as hell, I tried to look at it twice, but nothing grabbed my attention, her outfit was boring, they have to find a way to propel her status, because she has a beautiful voice, cute girl and has class, but they have to find a way to make her more interesting or she is going to fall by the wayside, I hope she wins a Grammy or two.

I found the video boring and kinda cheap looking… a real let down. and that’s not to say i need artists spending millions on videos, but you gotta come harder than some CGI video like this, especially for such a great song. can she get a real video concept??? something interesting and compelling???
and why can’t they get her a real stylist? i was looking at her performance on yahoo music and the outfit was an atrocity. there are tons of clothes that would be flattering on Ms. Sullivan, yet they insist on throwing her in vests and weird jeans and stuff like that. her record company doesn’t seem to be investing as much as they should in her, and this video is more proof of that….
she’s an amazing talent, but talent only takes you so far. i need a package. on the upside, she does look a lot better in this video than she has in previous ones. they actually took time to do her hair rather than throw a scarf on it and call it a day.

Very elegant and glamorous video. I see a lot of artists are going with the CGI and green screen to save time and money instead of flying to some exotic location. She’s an amazing singer, and it really shows off in this single. I just hope she releases “After The Hurricane” as the next single because it’s very heartfelt and very storytelling, and most of all-it’s my favorite!
The video should not have to sell the song. I don’t know why people think everything has to be some big budget, circus act – type video for it to be interesting. That’s why I miss the 80′s and 90′s.
