VIDEO: PRESIDENT OBAMA & THE FIRST LADY SHARE A DANCE
President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama danced their way through 10 official inaugural balls Tuesday night, after a historic day in American history.
The Obamas were serenaded by Beyoncé during their first dance at the Neighborhood Ball, where she sang Etta James’ “At Last,” from her role in the movie “Cadillac Records.”
Before the dance, Obama addressed the crowd, which erupted in applause when he entered the room.
“First of all, how good-looking is my wife?” Obama beemed.

Bey that’s my girl as everyone knows and she did a good job and she was so proud and excited to be there. This was a great celebration with a great group of performers all around. Good Job.

awwww, i loved it. beyonce did a good job. i cried too because, i guess, during this dance i only saw love and warmth and . . . just a beautiful dancing couple. they were so graceful and . . . oh man, i’m gonna cry again . . . i thought this first dance was lovely, absolutely lovely.

oh, moments like these make me feel so warm. it’s like my big sister Brandy says, “Warm it up (with Love)” ['Human' in stores now]. yeah, love melts the cold hearts. i say, more historic inaugurations, more first dances, more love!

Like a fairy tale. They were really made for each other. This was a dance for the history books. Bey was like the icing on the cake.

i cried so hard..this moment was extremely touching. I think I will always remember this moment..especially the way they looked at each other..ooh it was so profound. I pray one day I find one man that looks in my eyes like that..aww im gonna cry again:*. This was truly a beautiful moment. One that will definitely be etched in the minds of Americans and those abroad for a long time. The love that the Obama’s have for each other and is extremely touching. Tears definitely came to my eyes tonight. The looks they gave one another, and the emotion in their faces was so so so so beautiful. It was definitely a great moment that will be in history.
And what a great choice for At Last to be the song choice. Beyonce beautifully SANG that song, and truly gave a wonderful backdrop for the Obama’s to dance to. For anyone who doubts that she can sing extremely well (a top notch vocalist at that) or that she can’t bring class to events (laughs at the petitions) then you are truly wrong. She did an INCREDIBLE rendition of At Last, and it was great to see that the Obama’s loved it. She felt that! And for a good cause. Beyonce is definitely a great artist.
It is great to At Last finally see a black man in the highest office of the land and sharing it with his beautiful wife and family. What a wonderful day for the inauguration, and a great night to cap it all off!!! Amazing.

Watching this really brought tears to my eyes. It is wonderful to have the first black president and it is also wonderful to see how so in love President Obama and Mrs. Obama are, right now they are the epitome of black love and Beyonce sang beautifully but on a side note is it just me or Mariah Carey can’t sing that well anymore her voice has really gone down Hero is such a powerful song for the occasion and her performance didn’t make me feel anything, she didn’t do her own song justice but anywho HAPPY OBAMA DAY!!!everybody
Now you can’t tell me that’s not REAL love. That man loves his wife and I adore their bond for each other. Lord willing…this will help some of these folks really realize what love and marriage really means.

Oh yes I must make a note about Beyonce. I usually don’t get involved with all this back and forth drama…but the folks out here that have something negative to say need to leave her alone. Beyonce’s performance was DEFINITELY meant for them two. Nothing was fake about that. You could even see it in Michelle’s expression when they finished dancing and (I think) it really touched Beyonce.
What do you guys expect? This is not a time for hating but a time for rejoicing.
That was awesome! ( I sound like a white dude) But seriously, what a time 2 be an African-American!!! For all the times when I was younger and faced racism @ an early age in Searcy, AR to Laredo, TX by both whites and hispanics. And now being part of one of the most historic times of my life( all 26 years)! And as a black man I must be special and prosper by way of my Black President. Yes sir!

I am so happy and proud of the Obama’s what a historical moment truly indeed. Aside from that Beyonce looked nice and did ok I think that they could have chosen a much better vocalist though. Hey that’s just an oservation and my opinion!
