You are right Etta James is a great singer a legend but when she behaves like this people tend to forget how great she “was” and this is a new generation. Beyonce has a long way to go to be as great as Etta was in terms of her history and legacy but this is a NEW DAY. People will NOW associate At Last with Obama and Beyonce. The movie did not do it but the Obama’s made history and the first dance was to a song that Beyonce rendered. Time change and Etta made a fool of herself and is really destroying her own legacy with little being done by Beyonce.

Well, I been knowing for a while that she wasn’t too pleased with the way she sung her song period, that goes for in the movie or otherwise. I think she was just more upset that she was uninformed that Bey would be sing the song at the Inauguration. Many people still don’t know that “Thriller” actually wasn’t written by Michael Jackson, but people call it his song, when Rod T. from a British group called Heatwave wrote it. But anyway, I guess not every legend is so humble to the fact that the younger generation is actually so respectful to their accomplishments. Aretha had a similar problem like this around this time last year, and she is the Queen of Soul. Just because they are not in their 20s anymore and not on the front page of every magazine does not mean they should be so bitter.
