Look, Beyonce stans, you are the ones who made this post about Beyonce. This started out as the NAACP award post and turned into a Beyonce versus JHud contest. Let me pose the following questions.
1. Why do you get offended when another famous black woman gets the attention?
2. Why do Beyonce stans type in all CAPS? (Note: This gesture is rude. Stop it.)
3. Why do Beyonce stans come with the same tired list that is suppose to make Beyonce the greatest, and will somehow place her in history books? (Note: She will be remembered for singing at last, but do not die of disappointment when text book publishers do not have her next to the Obamas in the history books.)
4. Why do Beyonce stans see Rihanna’s misfortune as a victory? Is a younger woman that threatening?
5 If you have to continually defend Beyonce, have you ever asked yourself if this is just simply a bunch of crap?
6. Has it ever occurred to you that some of the criticisms may be criticisms versus actual jealousy (I better type hating because a Beyonce stan will not recognize the word jealousy or envy or bitterness.)

you cannot deny the soul of j-hud. it makes all the diff btw her and beyonce. beyonce is a brand. jennifer is a human. if you’re into b, cool. but know that it is soulless music. and the ppl are tired of that genre. go j-hud! THE GAME NEEDS YOU!!!
Ahahaha! The Beyonce stans are all up in arms. Too funny. You can always tell who is the most threatening to their “god” Beyonce by who they hate on the most. In this case, it is clearly Jennifer Hudson. And before her, it was Rihanna.
There is no denying this one though. It was like a “Dreamgirls” redeux. Jennifer got the standing ovation and tears. Beyonce who is pretty good on some songs, did \not get a standing ovation or a lot of applause this time. She did OK but something was a little off. The song had nothing to do with the images in the background. Is she obsessed with Obama? What gives? It didn’t work that well and I see I am not the only one who thought that.
Stevie and Jennifer Hudson were the best performers, hands down.
One other thing, you can tell how much Beyonce (and others to be fair) have dumbed down music by what her fans say. These fools actually complain about someone sounded “too church”! OMG, What do you think Beyonce is trying to imitate? She’s TRYING TO SOUND SOULFUL! Aretha, Patti, etc all came from the church remember? Beyonce wants to connect to a song the way THEY do, she said so herself. The problem is, she doesn’t know how. Jennifer, however, connects with song with ease, she makes it look easy. I am just keeping it real.
We need more soulful singers like Jennifer Hudson, not less. The tastes need to be elevated not diminished! Thank God for singers like JHud and Fantasia!

damn this was on point!!! everybody looked just beautiful and im glad its getting hype. im tired of them dusty ass grammys getting all the attention all the time. count on CL to get the real news. anyways, damn why so many haters?! im not a big fan of beyonce but she looked beautiful as usual. and as much as yall dont want to admit it… jhud looked damn good!!! im sorry but you gotta love women with REAL curves and a voice. shoot i think the reason everyone hating on jennifers singing abilities is because everyone so used to hearing this mediocre trash BET be feeding us. jen gotta voice, but so do my girls jill scott and jasmin sullivan. props to everybody though! its 09 baby!
I agree that it was awful what happened to JHud family however before this happened she was not getting this much exposure. I think she could be an excellent singer but never a better performer than Bey. There is something very uneasy about JHud and sometimes it takes things to happen to bring us back down. I dont know her but I did hear before the awful tragedy she had gotten very arrogant and beside herself. I do wish her a speedy recovery and she needs to focus more on recovery than success because success is nothing if you are not mentally prepared for it.
Don’t hate B or J. Hud. Must say that I thought it was strange that B said she’d like to thank her manager father, stylist mom and sister and nephew. We already know this. And she’s never thanked Solange for anything. I believe she even metioned the word amazing and Solange’s name in the same sentence. I too was wondering where that came from and why, to hurt J Hud?? B’s smile does look forced in a lot of pics. Halle looks amazing and so did Jada.
Does B have any friends besides mommy & daddy? Some friends outside of her family?
