Sorry, I am just so sick of other BLACK people selling out other black folks. Representation at a top agency gives actors access to much better roles and projects. The fact that many of the top tier agencies have few if any blacks (especially women) is a major problem.
The NAACP should have at least held a syposium on this and had the big-wigs at the agencies show up and answer to why they don’t recruit black talent and help cultivate their careers the way they do (untalented) white people.
But instead they host some stupid photo-op. How many CAA clients will actually be at the awards tonight? But there will be PLENTY at the Academy Awards later this month.
The NAACP is so useless in Hollywood. They nominate bullshit and have no clue who the talented black people really are. They are a joke.
