I was just in American History Museum today. They already have Michelle’s pic in the First Lady exhibit! It was just amazing to see the long line of white first ladies and at the end of that line hang Michelle’s picture. It’s a neat exhibit and you truly got the feel of how serious these women were about the inauguration dresses. I was shocked to see the dresses of the very early first ladies still intact. The fashions didn’t progress with time in my opinion. lol
Really neat exhibit, everyone should check it out!

I just can not understand why it makes a difference whose dress she wore. They are not just representation for blacks but everyone and all minorities. Black designers your clothes should speak for themselves. She would probably still be waiting for a dress to be done, if she had picked a black designer. (not being funny). But you know who some taylors and seamstress are at the last possible minute they would still be hemming and adding beads of something.
