I was at the block party yesterday. Lil Mama looked beautiful, sounded great and was a class act. She will go on to do great things and I hope her 2nd album is a huge success!!

Lil Mama is talented and I love how driven she is, but she doesnt know which direction to go musically and it shows. Thats her biggest problem. She is a great dancer and rapper but she needs to create music that fits with her style and sound and I think she could be successful.
I saw her latest music video the other day and it honestly was a shambles! She was singing off key and doing the whole 1940s dress up thing, it wasnt cute and it didn’t suit her. She needs to stick to dancing, rapping and finding material that reflects her talents.
I think there is room for her in the industry because there are no female rappers at the moment, she should therefore focus on bringing female rap back in especially for the younger audience who will never have seen girls rap.
