(UPDATE ON CHRIS B. STORY) Reports just came in that Chris Brown will not attending the Grammy’s this evening due to a LAPD investigation on Brown for felony battery:
“The identity of the victim will not be released,” said Officer April Harding. “Any victim who’s involved in a domestic violence incident is entitled to confidentiality.”
Around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, the R&B singer and a woman were in a vehicle in L.A. when they became involved in an argument, according to a police statement. After stopping his car, Brown and the woman got out and the argument escalated. The woman suffered visible injuries and identified Brown as her attacker, according to police.
The LAPD received a 911 call reporting the disturbance. “If police locate Brown, yes, he’s subject to arrest,” Officer Harding added.
When officers arrived they found the victim, but Brown had already left the scene, the statement reads.
The LAPD is conducting an investigation into the incident. SOURCE
Entertainment outlets covering the Grammy’s also reported that Rihanna would also not attending due to a “car accident” – her rep responded that she is doing well. Rihanna and Chris were last spotted together last night at Clive Davis’ Grammy celebration.
TAMEKA’S PLASTIC SURGERY COMPLICATIONS
Usher was also suppose to be down in LA for the Grammy’s, but canceled his appearances after his wife Tameka suffered complications from plastic surgery:
Usher’s wife Tameka Foster Raymond has suffered a serious injury due to complications from plastic surgery in Brazil, reports Access Hollywood.
On Saturday night, Usher canceled his performance at the Recording Academy and Clive Davis’s Pre-Grammy Gala. Davis told party-goers the singer had to bow out due to a “serious injury in the family.”
On Sunday, Davis, Sony Music Worldwide’s chief creative officer, told PEOPLE. “I talked to his mom. My thoughts are with them, whatever they’re facing.” SOURCE
Their reps have not commented on what type of surgery Foster received.
