  1. The Real Why?

    #11…???….huh??

only a fashion icon (michelle obama) can make a relatively unknown designer (jason wu) the hottest thing in the fashion industry. pls stop.

and i happen to think she’s very pretty…sure, she could use braces but she’s still beautiful

and she’s not shapely?? r u serious, child?? that woman has an AMAZING body…the fact that you would say otherwise just shows ur a hater…for a 45-year old woman with 2 kids, her body is INSANE. stop the hate.

  2. What The

The First Lady is classy. She is dressed appropriately. You don’t have to wear thousand dollars shoes, endless jewelry and dresses that are overpriced and show every inch of your body. She has class and the only person she has to please is herself. If she like it, I love it. Keep stepping First lady.

I am so loving the first family! Michelle is absolutely gorgeous and classy! I love that she is being herself and not changing her style for no one. The girls are the First princesses……Michelle keep up the GREAT work!!!! WARM REGARDS ALL THE WAY FROM THE BEAUTIFUL ST. THOMAS, VI!

  4. algie

seeing michelle makes me understand how real god is

  5. PunkRocknegro

Green shirt kid looks sprung and starstruck. He’s getting a look at diversified power and beauty at a young age. Hopefully it will shape the perception of him and other kids in a positive way concerning race and females. All races need to just try and take care of one another in this country and world. I know it’s a large hope but hope is a good thing. Meanwhile people can stay grounded in reality and fight hard for every inch of their destiny.

U said it all with that post…#11 we gone pray 4 u Queen….Lovin the Positive energy! :)

  7. Keepin It Real

The corn rolls look too ghetto to be representing a First family. And Obama is BIRACIAL and Michell and Barack are an interracial couple not a normal black couple. Any other time that’s how it would be seen in society. But I guess this gets the excuse pass this time. (rolls eyes)

  8. Chi-Town

#67. I don’t know what world you live in but society would not see the Obama’s as an interracial couple. I also think its beautiful to see Malia wear corn roll (french braids— for the folks born in the 80′s and earlier LOL)

  9. PunkRocknegro

@ 67 I disagree about the cornrows being too “ghetto.” That term like “the race card” are too often part of the new century undercover racist terms. At the very least the term “ghetto” has expanded to mean all things considered Black, and not just underclass,or downscale. The girl is clean and beautiful and dressed for a child’s day. Should her hair be pressed and slick like she’s ready for a red carpet? We need to let girls be little girls and stop trying to turn them into living dolls. It’s not needed. Also I agree about the Obamas. Obama is biracial and that’s how I see him. I don’t try to force biracial people into colour boxes. Our country does though. For this reason as well as the “one drop rule” many people, even Blacks see them as simply a Black family.

  10. eMpire

She’s taking the right steps to being a more influential First Lady. She needs to set an example for the future First ladies. They need to be out there doing something too! And what a little creeper that boy is with his phone…so very ‘subtle’ lol

  11. Jessica

I just love our first lady, I watched part of it on CNN. The kids were so excited when she was asking them questions on CNN.

  12. Like to see Michelle out and about its just amazing seeing this …..still amazed…lol

  13. TADOW

Forget how she looks. Here’s an educated and intelligent first lady representing the history of our people to the nation. That’s all that matters to me.

  14. Meat

Dang, you can see Michelle’s brain working in that first picture.

  15. studentdoc

This is great! Nice to see Michelle making her presence known in the White House. I’m glad that the girls have their grandmother there with them to help them settle in to life as the First Daughters. Having such a support system is great. It’s such a huge responsibility to be the first Black family in the White House. Let’s please continue to support our First Family as they represent not only for Black people but also for the rest of the United States.

  16. LittlePrincess

Wow some of the ignorance on this site is amazing!
Number 11- wtf! and Number 67- how the heck can two black people be an interracial couple? That makes no damn sense! Seal/Heidi Klum is interracial, not Barack and Michelle. Please get your glasses checked!

  17. Tahsa

Its great to see Mrs Obama doing her thing. She is very inspirational. Lmao@ y’all! #11 Tabby is getting what she is asking for ATTENTION.! Just ignore things like that. She is probably getting a kick out of it anyways. You know how the saying goes ” don’t feed the animals” ( of course she isn’t an animal). In other words don’t give them the attention they crave.

  18. myopia

Now you all need to stop!

Just because someone does not find Michelle Obama beautiful or a fashion icon or whatever….So what! That’s their opinion. You all can come here and talk about how ugly Usher’s wife is or hate on Beyonce and Rihanna but ya’ll would be ready to cut a b**** if they state an opinion that’s not in agreement with yours when if comes to Michelle. Besides, I’ve heard worse things about her and I’m sure Michelle can hold her own.

  19. HOTMOMMA001

Do yall remember how pretty Sasha and Malia’s hair was on Inauguration Day?! Fresh new perms! Now those babies are keeping it 100%! Go on Mrs. Obama! Keep it REAL in the White House!

They are both holding it down ALREADY! Not on the job 5 mins and have already put the wheels in motion!

    TIME FOR A CHANGE AMERICA!

  20. myopia

Michelle and Barack ARE an interracial couple. Now have some respect for the man’s mother.
