Singers Jazmine Sullivan and Fantasia Barrino attend the 51st Annual GRAMMY Awards Style Studio held at the Smashbox Studios on Wednesday in Los Angeles, California.
Both ladies are up for Grammy’s this year. Jazmine with a total of 5, including ‘Best New Artist’ and Fantasia for ‘Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals’ for the duet she sang with Jennifer Hudson entitled, “I’m His Only Woman.”
Even though she was sick, Solange made it to her scheduled performance at the Viper Room on Wednesday night in West Hollywood. Heard it was a good set too.
Singer/songwriter Keri Hilson (pictured above with Jesse McCartney) spoke at the 51st Annual GRAMMY Awards Career Day at the University of Southern California on Wednesday in Los Angeles, California.

I was at Solange’s PACKED Viper Room show last night, and despite her having been laid up with the stomach flu for 3 days prior, homegirl came out and gave a great show, even as she said she was ‘seeing stars’. LOL. Them Knowles women deserve major props for not letting anything stop a show: broken toes, falling down flights of stairs, vomiting for days… NOTHING sidelines these chicks. That is TRULY loving what you do, because I would have been in bed crying for my mommy, not on stage in a club KILLING T.O.N.Y. and Cosmic Journey!

Okay, I just have to ask, was it or was it not a fact that Fantasia was late on her mortgage payments? It is also a fact that Fantasia does not outright “own” both houses. Not really a fan of Jazmin. I tried to listen to her music but I just can’t. She has a beautiful voice but her lyrics are so cheesy and juvenile. Its hard for me to relate. Beautiful vocals, tho!

I love Fantasia! I think PEOPLE SLEEP ON HER TALENT and wish we could see more performances from this incredible artist. Her voice is unique, her style is – excuse my french- DA SH*T, and her music is heartfelt – not to mention something we all can relate to. When I see her, she always switchin up her hair MAKIN THE SHORT CUTS LOOK GOOD. I must admit from time to time I think about cutting my own hair… but I guess that would make me a style biter.
Wow! Tasia’s looking like the star that she is. What with the Entertainment Weekly music critic rating her “Patti Labelle” tribute rendition of “Lady Marmalade” the best soul performance of the DECADE, a new C.D. out shortly that insiders have been raving about and a further stint starring in the “Color Purple” from June, Tasia’s unique talent is sure being recognised.
Hopefully, the big screen musical adaptation of “The Color Purple” that she is contracted by Oprah to star in, will not be too far “down the line”. If she can produce a performance in the film similar to her critically acclaimed Broadway success, it will guarantee world wide mega stardom, of that I’m sure. It will be well deserved.

Fantasia’s homes are paid for in FULL it was not a forcloser it was about a loan she took out in 2006 for some taxes. She was late paying it back so they put a lien on one of her houses. She owed them $58,000. Now it has all been worked out according to the lawyers.
Aight Angel don’t forget to mention that the award for the song that Fantasia is featured on is also written by Jasmine Sullivan. Bet yall didn’t know that. Shows how people are really sleeping on this chick. The girl is bad!!!! 21 years old with all these Grammy nods. get it J!

You are correct on all counts. Had people bothered to read legitimate news sources, and not blogs, then they would have known the real deal. It was a conflict between Fantasia and somebody she borrowed money from 3 years ago. Her house was targeted to get her attention.
