Kanye West performed during a taping for Vh1′s latest episode of ‘Storytellers’ at Sony Studios on Friday (February 13) in Los Angeles, California.
The superstar performed some tracks from his latest album, ’808s & Heartbreak’ and gave insight on how he wrote some of biggest hits. The episode premieres Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 9:00pm ET/PT on Vh1.

I don’t know how I feel about Kanye anymore…He is a fellow Gem so he is naturally emotional through expressing his art (music) the best of us appear arrogant but it’s just that we are confident & creative beings here to put our mark on the world in whatever we realize is our calling. The Chris Brown situation is not “private” that the problem with domestic abuse people think it’s “ok ” and it’s not a big deal. There is nothing “private” about using violence against anyone…especially women and children. And Chris would not have been arrested if he was 100% innocent or if this was a “private” matter. When Chris became a “public” entertainer there is even more of a focus on his character because he endorses products and he put himself out there to be judged on his “behavior” and image.
Kanye is a good artist…”genius” hardly. And his hair is fine I don’t understand why people obsess about his hair so much.

I think he’s truly creative. Hair, clothes, music…even if I don’t personally like or want to emulate every choice he makes, I’m glad that he tries to deviate from the norm and create something new.
