Miss Hudson did the damn thing. I was in tears watching her muscle up every ounce of strength she has to put forth her best performance. She has a way to go to be half of the person she used to be…you change a lot with a lost like that. But, baby ghurl hasn’t skipped a beat with her vocals. On the way to the Grammy!

Jennifer did her thing but on the real, she was lip synching. The last note gave it away. She only leaned back and it was so obvious at that time. No veins in the neck, no trimbling from the lip, no beads of sweat. It was beautiful and I commend her for all that she is doing after all she has been through but for real, it was pre-recorded. It doesn’t mean that I am hating, it just means that I can deal with the truth and still show love. Go Jennifer, you are love!
She tore that song up! I haven’t seen a rendition this good since Whitney. Many other popular singers would kill to have her voice. Yikes, she is incredible. I so wish she could have sang for Obama. Her performance would have made the history books.

This wasn’t her first public appearance since the tragedy. She sang at the tribute to Patti Labelle for the Evening of Stars on BET. I didn’t enjoy her much there but she did awesome with the anthem.
@47 trembling of the lip is a VERY Bad vocal technique, a good proffessional singer does not do that. Whitney unfortunately did it all the time and people think thats good technique but its not- any professional teacher will tell you the same.
This definately sounded live, and Jennifer sounded amazing. There are soo many haters on this site its unreal. She sang this song perfectly, her performance was amazing it moved me almost to the point of tears (and Im not even American). In fact this is definately one of the best renditions of the song.

Not only did J-Hud do an amazing job, she looked great. I see that she has lost weight. Also, her outfit was too cute. I am so HAPPY that she didn’t over do it. Again, she sound/looked beautiful!!!

She looked and sounded INCREDIBLE. Whoever she’s hired as a new stylist will hopefully continue to style her because her whole look has definitely been upgraded. It’s also very good to see her back at work to prove that TALENT trumps anything else. Definitely did the damn thing.
