Sean “Diddy” Combs, (who played a lawyer on the recent episode of CSI:MIAMI) is reportedly unhappy about a new tell-all book coming out about him.
Page Six reports that former Diddy associate Mark Curry is currently shopping around Dancing With the Devil: How Puff Burned the Bad Boys of Hip-Hop to various publishing houses.
In the book, Curry alleges that Diddy,
“hoodwinked and bamboozled me for nearly a decade” in promising to release Curry’s music.
“I had to leave the label and its illusions of wealth in order to save my career, my marriage, my mind and my soul,” he writes.
“This is a work of fiction, filled with lies, written by a disgruntled former artist ,” Diddy’s rep responds to Curry’s claims. “He was properly credited for the two songs he wrote and never produced any other material worthy of release by Bad Boy.”
Nick Cannon will become the new host of NBC’s top-rated series “America’s Got Talent” when the talent-competition returns next summer, it was announced recently by Paul Telegdy, Executive Vice President, Alternative Programming, NBC and Universal Media Studios.
“Nick exemplifies the spirit of ‘America’s Got Talent’ with his talent, originality and an infectious love of performing and creating,” said Telegdy. “His popularity and appeal are sure to take the series to a new level of success.”
“This is just the first of multiple projects we are looking to do with Nick at NBC,” added Ben Silverman, Co-Chairman, NBC and Universal Media Studios. “He’s a true triple threat, a multi-talented producer, actor and musician. We are excited to welcome him to the NBC family.”
Word is Nick has also been assigned the job of Chairman over at Nickelodeon Studios. Don’t sleep on Nick, he is definitely making moves.
Actor FAIZON LOVE, 40, has been charged with felony assault following a fight outside a Hollywood hotel last month.
The Cuban-born star, real name Langston Faizon Santisima, is accused of hitting a man after he was turned away from a nightclub inside The Standard hotel in Los Angeles on January 7th.
He had left the scene before cops arrived, but he was later booked and released on $30,000 bail. He faces four years in prison if convicted.
Love is best known for his role as Big Perm on the cult film Friday.
Good for Nick! People are always joking about him being Mariah’s boy toy but forget he has been handling his OWN business for some time now.

OMG Yes! She is way too talented and unique to be sign with Bad Boy! She is smart and I know if she finds something better she won’t hesitate to take it.

And if you look in their cd jackets, you’ll see that Puff is still listed for royalty credits and such. He must have them in long term contracts and that they must say something positive about him. @13 – A couple of years ago Diddy ran this huge campaign to raise money for NYC schools. & Made a valid point of stating that HIS KIDS GO TO PRIVATE SCHOOL. & you know what he’s damned right about that. PEOPLE WITH MONEY PREFER PRIVATE SCHOOLS OVER PUBLIC ANY DAY.
With that said. Diddy ran in the NYC marathon were participants run through all 5 boroughs. Diddy raised millions of dollars and donated it to the school. He had rappers, entertainers, politicians, even Mayor Bloomberg donated money.
The man does & continue to do great things. People should not just focus on his mishaps. Obviously Curry wants to make money.
