Ever heard of the expression “to whom much is given, much is expected…” Don’t you think this applies to Chris Brown? His so called “squeaky clean image” should have been a standard by which he chose to live his life, not just an image for the media. I still have hope that he is innocent and that he will be able to go on with his life and career. He is innocent until proven guilty.

Having said that, I am shocked to see how many people think that Rhianna in any way deserved to abused by Chris… It’s one thing to say that you don’t believe he could have done this and that we should wait for the facts, but to say that because she’s “uppity” she therefore deserved to have a man beat her down and then to blame her for potentially ruining his career…, it’s just shocking to me. The possibility of being arrested and ending up in jail should be enough to make you restrain yourself, even when it’s difficult. People do it every day, walk away from disputes before getting violent, because they have the good sense to not want to destroy their own future even if they don’t take the other person into consideration. Why should Chris Brown be any different? Domestic abusers never focus on their problem, it’s always the other person’s fault.
