While some of y’all are talking about him having cancer or being sick etc,the article above says various sources says he has alopecia areata..maybe whomever is asking what’s wrong with him should read the article on this disease instead of jumping to conclusions and saying things about him that are not true.

Usually, when people have Cancer, their hair falls out due to the Chemotherapy Treatments. It makes your hair fall out kind of in patches the way his hair looks now. Thats why most people just shave it off during Chemo, because its just too much for most patients to see their hair falling ot in clumps like that, so they just knipp it in the bud and take care of that early. But the thing with Chemo is when or if you are done with the treatment, the hair usually grows back all the way. For some, the texture changes when it grows back, for instance…you may have had naturally straight hair before chemo & after chemo, it grows back curley. But it usually grows back fully which makes me wonder if he has cancer or ever did. But nonetheless, it’s good seeing him again!

You know what…on second thought, after reading about his dieses, God bless him. We don’t know what this brother’s going through to be out in public looking like this, but God bless him.

@112…thanks for all the informative info on cancer….but he doesn’t have cancer; he has Alopecia areata and chemo is not even a treatment for this particular disease. He just has a condition that causes hair loss- please see update/check the link.

We had no way of knowing he was sick…. I simply thought he was crazy with backwards pants and a landing strip… Then she updated it so now we know…. I think he sould cut his hair and turn his pants around but he is free to do whatever he wants… Just my opinion.

Hey Folks, I too have a form or alopecia and it is very sad to see this young man like this. It seems easier for women because we have the best wigs around but for men, who wants to wear a toupee? Maybe it’s just too cold to wear a baldy if it’s something that he is not used to. When I first found out that my hair would not grow back in certain spots it was truly devastating but I have comfortable with it now after 8 years. Maybe Chris is comfortable this way. Maybe he is tired of hiding his issue. Some of us walk around with issues in hiding. Come on now- Do you hear me? But seriously pray that God will comfort him. Having Alopecia is not fun!

What’s so crazy is that some of y’alls hair are falling out because of all the pulling and tugging from wearing braids and weaves and you are too ashamed that this is happening to you. That is a form of alopecia too.

He was my first crush! He is still fine, to me. Who cares about his hair, he doesn’t. Either we’re to dark, to skinny, to light, to fat, not enough hair, chest hair, to tall, wear weave (must be bald) …etc. Get a grip!

The man was minding his own business, just chillin at the park…he wasnt’ walking down melrose or at Nobu or Mr. Chow’s trying to get his picture taken! He looks shocked to have had someone just roll up and take that photo…Probably didnt’ think anyone would know who is he since he been outta the limelight since he was a child. If you look at the sequence of the pics, he looks like damn, here they come with the camera, then he tried to just look ahead and ignore their azzes, before finally deciding to walk away and leave.

His face don’t look old, he still look young, his hair is making him have a more mature appearance. And maybe his lips are darker cause he might smoke, not sure.

But I would just say please, don’t make a fun of him…what if you had to go through something like this? He obviously have a condition where it’s affecting his hair growth…I dunno, just cut the brotha a break, dayum…

Have you thought that maybe someone close did ask him to cut his hair..surely if you all feel so strongly about, perhaps someone close to him share your feelings.

But did you also consider he’s a grown azz man, and just like anyone else can choose to wear his hair anyone way he likes…Did anyone stop to think he’s holding onto it for sentimental purposes or something like that? Or maybe just some hair on his head makes him feel better than having no hair.
