President Barack Obama waves to a group of happily surprised NBA fans at the Washington Wizards v.s Chicago Bulls Game on Friday night in Washington D.C.
The President was pulling for Chicago of course (who ended up losing), but happily greeted audience members that approached and spoke with him. President Obama Is the first president to attend a Wizards game since Bill Clinton in 2000.

I’m sorry, but we got a cool President, and that is what makes up strong as American. You saw how our country was just depressed when our last President was in Office. I have seen so many events that Obama has hosted/attended in his first month then I have seen Mr. Bush do in almost 4-8 years. I ain’t mad at Obama, keep living Mr. President, he is a real and true person, American and has a real spirit in his heart.
The kid looks like he’s grilling the Pres. about school vouchers, free lunches and after school programs and the Pres. looks engaged. That’s the money shot.
He transcends racial divides and connects to the young and old. Real problems are found and corrected by and with the people. The girl who wrote the letter about her school was a common person. This kid, a man at the hot dog stand ALL these folks want a chance to see and tell the Pres. their problems, concerns or ideas.
This kid will never forget this moment. No doubt it will affect his life and he may grow up to do great things just for having this minute. It’s inspirational and therefore his (Pres. O’s) public duty is being conducted. To inspire the country especially the youth. Where would some of us be now if we had a conversation with a President in grade school? What about MLK?
This photo will outlast us all and the image is powerful, like the one of JFK on his sail boat or FDR in the back seat of his car. Truly a man of the people for the people. Hope to see you in LA Mr. President, next time the Lakers beat up on the Bulls.

Whenever I see the President pictured with a little boy…I wonder why the First Lady did not try more for a son? I’m not saying boys are better than girls but if I were married to a man that great I would at least try 3 times to give him a son.
