Here are the promotional photos for Lil Kim (along with her partner Derek Hough) for the new season of Dancing With The Stars – set to premiere March 9th on ABC.
As previously reported, Kim will be competing against 12 other celebrity contestants including comedian David Alan Grier and NFL retiree Lawrence Taylor.
NELLY WORKING ON REALITY SHOW
Rapper Nelly is the next celebrity to add a reality TV show to his belt. Word is, he inked a deal to develop a reality television series with A. Smith & Co. Productions, displaying his “day to day life”:
“I look forward to showing my fans what my world is about and bringing more attention to my non-profit organizations,” said Nelly, whose real name is Cornell Haynes Jr., in a statement.
Nelly runs the non-profit organization 4 Sho 4 Kids. He has participated in campaigns for bone marrow registration in honor of his sister, Jackie Donahue, who died in March after a long battle with leukemia. SOURCE
So will this mean Ashanti will be part of the show too? No word on what network will air this, but it is said to premiere early next year.
LALA TO CO-HOST CHARM SCHOOL 3
Lala is signed up to be a part of the next installment of VH1′s Charm School, featuring chicks from Real Chance Of Love. Lala will also be assisting with former talkshow host Ricki Lake:
Ricki will not be alone in her quest to help these ladies; she will be flanked with the support of the new school deans Alani “La La” Vazquez (TV Personality) and Stryker (Radio Host). This team’s mission for the new season is not only to teach the ladies about which fork to use, but also to stress the importance of using themselves for good. SOURCE

First of all none of ya’ll know what Lil’ Kim’s financial situation is, she could be doing the show just because she wants to try something different, you would rather see her in the news about going to jail, and the cosmetic surgry she gettting done this week, but then when she does something totally outside of her relm she still get’s critizied for it! So what do you really want, she is an entertainer, and that’s what she is doing, “HER JOB”!!!and clearly something is working because DWTS just don’t pick anyone to be on their show. Mind you the show is one of the most watched reality TV shows, so fall back and let her do her thing. Who knows she might even win for the hell of TV sake. You know what they say about assuming? Actually, I abhor use of the term “nigga” and personally do not use it in reference to any person, just as an FYI. And actually I am an African-American (descendant of African slaves), just as another FYI–but sure, you are welcome to call me African, that’s fine too. I know you find it hard to believe that people other than the direct object of your ignorance could find your marks offensive, but now you know it’s possible. Comparing “salsa” to insenuating someone is a monkey (NY POST, hello?) is like comparing apples to oranges. That’s a cop out.
And feel free to explain to me how calling you out on your ignorance is hypocritical? (Are you sure you know the meaning of the word?) If you present a valid argument on that one, I’d be more than willing to concede. Further, the remarks you made would be ignorant whether a black person or a person of another race made them, although you’ve made it clear that this is a difficult concept for you to grasp. People often try to justify or excuse inappropriate behavior under the guise of a “joke” or by allying themselves with a larger group (i.e. black people in general, as you did) but that’s just denying responsibility for one’s own actions. Come with something better than that.
