My good buddies D.A. Wallach and Maxwell Drummey of Chester French finally premiere the Paul Hunter directed video for their first single, “She Loves Everybody.” The track is from their debut album Love the Future, which drops March 31st.
We did an Artist Spotlight on them some time last year and they got some good reviews. I’m glad to see that Star Trak/Interscope is moving forward with this project. It deserves some shine.

I see a few hating going on here and there. Just give it a damn rest. These guys are good and their sound is different. Respect them for that. Just cause they aren’t putting out the usual crap you want doesn’t mean you can knock em.
Anyways, different is always good sometimes. I saw them preform back on October in Atl. Love the sound and their performance. Can’t wait for the album.

First off, #2… what does them being black or not have anything to do w/ it? Oh wait… that kinda ties into my question so let me back up. WTF (“w” in this case means “why”) are they the ONLY indie pop band spotlighted on here? Is it just because Pharrell hyped their asses up? If that’s the case… THAT’S BULL. There are WAY better indie pop and indie rock bands/artists/groups who do have black artists but NO ONE spotlights then on here. I find it insulting that just because some dude who happened to be a celebrity and black gives them one shout out… mofos are being put on blast. BULL… straight up bull. (oh and this rant obviously excludes Santogold lol) I digress; the lyrics are funny but they do NOT sound different. Different than what is normally played on here… “yes” but overall different in their genre… “no”
