India.Arie releases a video for “Chocolate High” featuring Musiq Soulchild, the lead single from her upcoming album, Testimony: Vol. 2, Love & Politics, which hits stores next Tuesday, February 10.
In a message to her fans on MySpace, India.Arie said:
I’m SOOOO excited for you to hear the new songs. In fact, for the past few days I have been in the studio rehearsing them all with my band and singers. When we recorded the songs we used a live band to lay down the tracks (which was a wonderful experience in itself,) but it is an amazing feeling to experience these songs coming alive through the musicians and vocalists. I can not wait to share them onstage.
The chemistry between them is undeniable. I wonder if they’ll tour together…

I did’t like the song at first, it just didn’t capture me like songs she usually put out. But after seeing the video and actually just listening to the vocals, I pretty much been knocked off my feet once again. Now thats real music right there.

Love Musiq Soulchild, Something serious. India Arie I have always loved her voice and her talent. The song will def grow on me with more plays, however, I’m not feeling THEM together in this video.. guess I’m Jealous lol! Im hoping this album will be on the vibe of her first two!
