and then again it takes a women to step up to the plate. with this being the last day for womens history month. i would just like to give all my love, to the women of this world that have in time STEPPED UP when nobody else would. example the female rnb singer ms. stepahine mills who told that promoter, i won’t allow you to treat me undignified w/ the searching of her person which she believed and me too it showed no respect. try this w/ aretha and see what you get promoter. but as she was telling her story on tjms seems tom j wander out loud w/ caution the ramafications that ms.mill could recieve for taking a stand. NOW YOU SEE why i say its takes a women. she spoke up and said i can’t allow this, even though she risks “blacklash” from them snakes she didn’t bow. sometimes its principal mr.tom. what would you do mr. tom let them search and degrade you? my prayers are w/ ms.mills that there won’t be retaliation or blacklist for having some dignity. baby you are going to be alright. and big ups to the whispers who could of said nothing and went on but said “we won’t go on” till they make it right. this should be a lesson to all [us] fire-ant negros the time of reckoning is here. for instance the LATEENO’S have leaped over us coloreds by leaps and bounds cause they are a unit. and what do we negress do. Very good paitings I really like Sade’s ,Aretha’s and Jills. This is for the poster a few posts back, I heard that Sade is coming out with a new album this year or next.

He should also do one of Dorothy Dandridge and I agree with someone above; Nina Simmone, Billie Holiday and Diana Ross all deserve one.

WOW…S. Lopez your work is breathtakingly gorgeous! As soon as I can, I plan on purchasing prints of each of these women for my home. Erykah was the first to catch my eye, but Tina is my favorite because of the emotion. Reminds me of my childhood (mid 80’s) listening to her records with my farther in his study…ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL

On a side note, I went to his website and the print of Sade doesn’t match the one above. So did he make two for her or is the one shown above someone else…my guess Alicia Keys
