Marriage wont do that to you necessarily no. He doesnt look old because of marriage. Gaining weight is a sign of interior happiness.
Concerning music Mariah and him unfortunately exposed their relationships/marriage more than their careers and their companions werent expected as well by the audiences which is sad cuz thats their lives. Thats probably why ppl werent feelin them anymore and plus they didnt release the right singles at all. Great example of marriage turing well, Beyoncé and Jay-z. Beyoncé looks the same and so does Jay. She made sure to take advantage of her situation with ‘put a ring on it’ song. Thats how you do.

And I agree, Usher’s album was not bad, but it couldnt top confessions that was the main problem, and a bad move form him to release only an ok work. People expected it to be bigger than confessions.

I thought for sure Beyonce was next to topple but so far she’s the #2 best selling female aritst this year (7th overall), squeaking by Pink, Madonna, Britney and Taylor Swift and has embarked on what will be another monster tour. Only Lil Wayne stands in her way from becoming the top Urban act of 2008 and she’s sure to overtake him next week. She’s unstoppable.

I totally agree that Usher’s album was for the grown and sexy. He showcased his growth and maturity as an artist and a man. It wasn’t the Usher of 8701 or Confessions. Considering Confessions came out back in 2004, why would you expect the same thing from Usher in 2008/2009? He is now a married man and father. He has a different point of view nowadays…
