As stated, due to the overall disappointing commercial performance of his last album, Here I Stand, Usher is in the studio with Jermaine Dupri & crew working hard on a new album, set to be released this year.

@40 He has to worry about his album selling because in this economy record labels are getting tired of wasting money on artist that can’t deliver hits …. so if this next one don’t do some better numbers he mess around and get dropped with the quickness. A million records at his caliber is like going GOLD..that is NOT a good look at all. But then again…he been singing the same stuff for the past 10 years…and doin the same tired ol dance moves too. He needs to evolve completely. I loved “Here I Stand ” album!!! I think it did well, it surely didn’t flop but it wasn’t high sales as “Confessions” either, but come on people he’s still respectfuly accomplished selling 38 million and has five grammy’s so obviously he great at what he does.
