It’s a pretty mellow song. I actually like it. Don’t liker her or Diddy though. Both of them are not talented as recording artists. She’s not a singer. He’s not a rapper. But somehow, they manage to mask their lack of skills in this song. It’s a smooth track.

The music and background sound like Faith used to sound 10 years ago.
The problem is: it’s not 10 years ago, it’s too classic, it needs to be contemporary because Cassie is not a classic sounding artist. She cannot sing like faith, even when faith was singing quietly and not REALLY singing, she sounds better than Cassie, maybe they should feature Faith… to get that same vibe back, no one can sing sultry like Faith did on her first album.. Cassie may need a session with her if that’s the sound she wants.
The solution is: Admit Cassie has no talent, and make sure the beat is hot because that’s the only saving grace here, Puffy needs to admit he also has no talent and get a real rapper on the hook. He’s not biggie and his name isn’t enough this time around.
Like Rihanna can even sing better, but she doesn’t try to sing these ballads she can’ handle that. Cassie’s voice sounds like it’s pitchy and about to crack on some of these lines, she sings to slow ( she doesn’t have that Rihanna staccato or Mary J swag ) she needs something.. I’m not saying she can’t be big.. but not with tracks like these.

Bad Boy can pull out all the gimmick’s they want…still, it won’t change the fact that Cassie has zero talent. I actually liked Cassie when she first came out, but that had more to do with the music production end of things. Cassie without Ryan Leslie is like that song: “I saw you and him…walking in the rain…” and then at the end, it goes, “you without me is like the cornflakes without the milk, you just a squirel trying to find a nut…”. Ryan knew how to cleverly play up Cassie’s non singing a**. While Cassie may sound sexy when talking, that does not qualify a career as a vocal artist. Her run is officially over. Cassie if she played her cards right and got from under P-Shiddy, could possibly refocus her efforts on ‘Electronica or Dance/Trance’ Music…she might have a chance there.
