Pictured above are a partying Keri Hilson, Ciara and Keyshia Cole at VH1′s Hip Hop Honors after party with Missy Elliott back in October of 2007, but it seems as though a remix of Keri’s current Top 50 hit, “Turnin’ Me On” has leaked, and it’s got the internet (and apparently, the streets) going nuts…
The new remix is supposedly taking stabs at both Ciara and Beyonce. Keri called into the local Atlanta radio station, V103 on the Ryan Cameron Show to clear up rumors while Ciara and Polow Da Don (who produced “Turnin’ Me On”) were both in the studio.
Keri says that the track was leaked without her permission and that e-mail accounts have been compromised. The situation is sticky, considering that all three of these folks are based in Atlanta and have all worked with eachother. Polow produced Ciara’s latest single, “Never Ever,” and also signed Keri to his Zone 4 imprint, and Keri has penned tracks for Ciara (on her first album, “Ooh Baby”).
In any event, both have albums are due out this spring. Keri’s debut album, In A Perfect World… hits shelves on March 24th, while Ciara’s anticipated third studio album, Fantasy Ride is set to hit stores May 5th.

Firstly, theres alot of people on here trying to disect every little thing, all of whom aren’t even qualified to do so. The girls sounds shaky because shes on a phone, can’t see their faces and is being listened to by a large number of people (all of whom are waiting to make this mess bigger). I would be a little shaky too.
Im not a fan of none of these particular ladies however I do respect where they stand in the industry. They have all worked hard. What comes through to me on that track is Keri’s frustration. Being passed up and having your work sung and paraded by others will grate on you when they receive praise and the world is not aware of your existence. That doesn’t make what she did any better, but who hasn’t wrote something in the heat of moment to help release any demons. The fact that she layed the track showed it was something she needed to address….not necessarily release.
If the track is about Beyonce, shes partially correct. Beyonce hasn’t made a good album (since the writings on the wall) and is indeed fading (in terms of music not star quality). I live in london and all though we know beyonce she hasn’t made it into the charts as frequently as she has done in the past. Stating facts not hating. If its about Ciara (which everyone knows it not since her title should be professional dancer not singer) then so be it.
People on here talking like had they have been in that position they would have stood their ground and watch them heap the crap on even more. It business people, because they are black and women they dont need to like each other.

OK so she needed to release some built up frustration because performers are singing her songs??? She was mainly a writer in the past that was her job. Maybe she always deeply wanted to be their position. And now that she’s made it, instead of being grafeful and showing the world.. Yeah i did it, by her success.. she is being shady by coming at the artist that allowed the world to hear her work.
But my thing is, you did the song own up to it. Its so Obvious its about people in the industry. I think i would have respected her more if she did that. Instead of smiling in the ladies faces then pull this.
Is it me or did Keri only write the Love in this Club remix verse that Bey sings? I looked it up to see how many songs that Keri wrote for Bey (b/c it was obvious who the song was directed at). But thats all I found? And yes Bey may not write all her songs by herself, but she is involved in the writing process, she just doesnt get a track handed to her. Also, it would be trademark infringement if she lied on the writing credits. I don’t think Bey’s camp is that dumb.
I like Keri, but “Be about yours” I think she was starting to feel the heat from her camp. Beyonce is a beast and murders peoples careers. Its not her fault, she is just that “ish”
Lastly, put Keri and Bey or even Keri and Ciara on a stage and have a “performance” battle. I think we all know that NO ONE can touch BEY on stage. And I’m just a fan not a stan, but I’m stating facts!! Ciara’s performing game is on point too ( just needs a lil work in the vocals)
