The L.A. County District Attorney charged entertainer CHRIS BROWN with two Felonies on Thursday morning in Los Angeles. The first, assault by means likely to produce bodily harm and second, making criminal threats.
The charging documents name “Robyn F.” (Robyn Fenty is Rihanna’s birth name) as the alleged victim and cited that Rihanna was “reasonably in sustained fear of her safety and the safety of her family.”
A spokesperson for the District Attorney says Brown could face a maximum of four years and eight months in prison.
In related news, FOX 11 in L.A. obtained LAPD detectives notes from a search warrant in the case. As per the notes, Rihanna read a three-page text message on Brown’s phone from a woman. An argument ensued and Brown allegedly tried forcing Rihanna out of the car but couldn’t because she was wearing her seat belt.

Brown then allegedly shoved Rihanna’s head against the passenger window. When Rihanna turned to face him, Brown punched her, then continued punching her while driving, according to the detective’s notes.
Blood spattered all over Rihanna’s clothing and in the interior of the car. Her mouth was filled with blood. Brown allegedly told Rihanna,“I’m going to beat the **** out of you when we get home. You wait and see.”
Rihanna called her assistant and left a message saying, “I am on my way home. Make sure the cops are there when I get there.” Brown then replied, “You just did the stupidest thing ever. I’m going to kill you.” According to the report, Brown continued to punch Rihanna, bit her on her ear, her fingers and put her in a headlock — she almost lost consciousness. Not this black woman. I was always taught not to parade men around my child unless the relationship was serious. That is the problem. People have these men who they don’t know well enough “watching” their children. My mother didn’t play that and neither do I. Matter of fact, I don’t encourage having children for different men-especially out of wedlock. I know many times it can’t be helped, but the way I grew up that was a no no. After my parents split up my mother eventually met my stepfather. My mother made sure of that. He didn’t sleep over at the house for many years. We didn’t meet him until she was sure. I think if people were more cautious when entering relationships and weren’t so quick to jump into bed it would prevent a lot of unnecessary heartbreak.
