On Friday, a judge sentenced Clifford ‘T.I.’ Harris to one year and one day in prison and ordered him to pay a $100,300 fine on weapons charges. He also was sentenced to some property forfeiture, supervised release for three years after his prison sentence, 365 days of home confinement (he has already served 305) and 1,500 hours of community service (1,030 served). He must also undergo drug counseling, cannot own firearms and must submit to reasonable searches and a financial audit.
The 28 year-old rapper/actor pleaded guilty last March after being arrested in October 2007 and charged with two felonies — possession of three unregistered machine guns and two silencers and possession of firearms by a convicted felon.
He will have 30-60 days to report to prison, and the sentence of one year and one day could allow him to be released earlier for good behavior, if warranted.

T.I’s Like the only Rapper thats being sentenced that I honestly feel like has learned his lesson, I am happy he wasn’t sentenced to the max. I guess that one of the perks of being a superstar. It’s very unfair, but I am happy for him

Much respect to T.I. I commend him for taking responsibility for the wrongs that he did and showing the young kids that even the superstars make mistakes, but it’s also about how you can turn your life around and use it for the good.

No joke, my girl friend is a prosecutor, she has a case where within 24 hours a defense atty was asking a judge to move her client to a different jail because he was gang raped the night he went in and was awaiting trial. Oz is just not on TV.

#23: Agree with u too, my homeboy did fed time and they got him a little time after he got in and again when they moved him, but I think T.I. will be alright, if not, none of us will know. I hate what they allow to go on inside prison walls because in some cases the guards are aware of it when it is occuring but do nothing to intervene.
