NEWS/POLITICS: PRESIDENT ON 60 MINUTES / OAKLAND POLICE SHOOTING / ANTI-WAR DEMONSTRATORS HOLD PROTEST MARCH

President Barack Obama appeared on Sunday’s 60 Minutes to discuss the most pressing issues of his first two months in office, including the economy, the bailouts, his budget and America’s involvement in Afghanistan and Pakistan. ( CLICK HERE TO VIEW VIDEO)

OAKLAND POLICE SHOOTING

Bryanna Berry looks on as her mother Elaine Walker cries after she set up a memorial outside of a building where Oakland police officers were shot and killed Sunday, March 22, in Oakland, California. Three Oakland police officers have died and a fourth was declared brain dead one day after a shootout with a man following a traffic stop. The suspect was also shot and killed by police.

According to authorities, 26 year-old Lovelle Mixon shot motorcycle officers John Hege, 41, and Mark Dunakin, 40, when they pulled him over during a routine traffic stop. He then opened fire with an AK-47 on SWAT team sergeants Ervin Romas, 43, and Daniel Sakai, 35, when they tried to arrest him at his sister’s apartment two hours later. SWAT team officers returned fire and killed Mixon. Family members say he went on a shooting rampage because he didn’t want to go back to prison.

ANTI-WAR DEMONSTRATORS HOLD PROTEST MARCH

Anti-war demonstrators carry model coffins in a protest march on Hollywood Boulevard to mark the sixth anniversary of the Iraq war ground invasion this weekend in Hollywood, California.

An estimated 91,000 Iraqi civilians have died since the invasion. The US has lost more than 4,200 military service members. While violence is reportedly at its lowest point since the US invasion, suicide bombers still terrorize the people of some regions of Iraq. President Barack Obama has ordered US combat troops home by September of 2010 and all US forces out by 2012

    Woow..i am actually first.
    What a sad story…

  2. ETCETERA

    DEVASTATING. (well, except Obama)

  3. NikNak

That’s pretty sad about those police officers.

  4. Black Ice

Why are these black women crying and setting up memorials for Oakland cops?

Are they seriously mourning officers who hail from the same department that slaughtered an innocent black man just this past December and tried to cover it up?

    SMH @ these coons!!!!

  5. NoWorldOrder/Anglo American Order

    hey j. dakar,
i believe you’re wrong about the estimated number of iraqi civilians killed. it has been reported as high as 1 million. Where did you get your facts?

  6. @ 5. We got it from the photo source. You could be right. Will look into that.

  7. NoWorldOrder/Anglo American Order

thanks for the quick reply. i love the new background.

  8. #5 That’s a conservative estimate based on Iraq Body Count.

  9. WhatIThinkIs

Part of me feels bad for the cops. But then another part of me doesn’t. Cops kill innocent people everyday. And it’s not right. Doesn anyone else remember the BART officer that shot an innocent guy in the back on his head? It’s[ crazy! What comes around goes around.

  10. JUDAH

Those black women were crying because they enjoy the status quo of America, smh. Certified slaves, the vast majority of these black women. You black men better wake up. Good for the man Lovelle Mixon.

  11. Queen Cee

As a lifelone resident of Oakland, and employee of the City of Oakland, this is devasting for our City. We have been in a serious state of crisis for years. And this incidient is the final straw for a city that is the pure definition of a paradox. It’s a beautifully ugly place. Where there is so much beauty and good, there is so much blight and anger. We cannot confuse what people do for a living with who they are as people. (The Oakland Police DID NOT shoot Oscar Grant, the BART Police did). The police department is not perfect, but there are some really good people who work for OPD, and these officers did not deserve to be killed, while doing their job. Please, have some compasion for people who have lost their lives, because at the end of the day, whether they were officers or the young man that shot them, lives are lost. And it will effect everyone in this city for a long time.

  12. jenn

Are you people that racist where you are giving a pass to someone because that shot
white cops. Cops are still people with families.

This color thing is just stupid and for anyone to make comments like it is only sort of wrong because they are cops is stupid.

I know the answer but does anyone know how many people Hussein killed while he was in power over the years. ( A whole hell of a lot) Stop blaming Americans for everything. Some countries would shoot people dead in the street for protesting against military action. Be glad we aren’t in one of those countries. Not yet anyway.

  13. just me, that's all

    #4

first off… i’m from Oakland, so let’s get it right…

BART POLICE killed Oscar Grant. NOBODY should have lost their lives on Saturday because someone feared returning to prison! Why would you say some crap like that!!??

How about you grow the hell up =(

    *smh*

  14. dukesman2000

I preempted the President Obama 60 minute interview post. But like I said, how disrespectful was that cr@cker correspondent, Kroft, asking Obama if he was “punch drunk?” How impertinent? You do not ask the President of the United States such a blatantly, condescending, stupid, f*cking question. Nobody asked Georgie Porgy if he was drunk for sending thousands of soldiers to die in Iraq and Afghanistan and ultimately killing hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and Afghans? Nobody asked Georgie if he was high on meth for letting New Orleans drown. Nobody asked Georgie if he was on ecstasy for leading this country into a depression, and nobody asked Georgie if he was high of cr@ck for torturing so called terror suspects. So why the f*ck is this a$$ hole asking Obama if he is drunk just because he dared to laugh at a question? Frankly, that c*cks*cker, Kroft needs to be punched.

I hope that woman is crying for the real victim here because the real victim is Mr. Mixon. Boy, I tell you, when I heard those cops got lit the f*ck up, it was such a joyful news. Please, I don’t have time to feel sorry for any police who gets killed. Its open season on the Black man and Mixon knows this and he simply refused to be the proverbial “lamb to be slaughtered.” Mixon refuse to be the next Sean Bell, Timothy Stansbury, Oscar Grant, Adolph Grimes etc. Frankly, Mixon should be exalted and be recognized as a martyr.

  15. Black Ice

    @ QUEEN CEE

It’s a fraternal order of individuals who more often than not protect their own, regardless of transgression.

They (police) aren’t around to “serve and protect” anymore. They harass, enslave, and enforce corrupt & government policies regardless of any crisis of conscience.

You can’t stand on the excuse “they’re just doing their jobs” forever!

German soldiers just “did their job” when they served under Hitler as well.

Then there are the rest of us members of the public who are understand that until the PROFESSION itself is overhauled, we won’t be any party to it’s corruption.

  16. Stacy H

for #9 and all those other people who say that they don’t feel sorry for the police officers who were shot and killed …I am sorry to say but you guys are dumb. what does the incident in December have to do with this guy killing four cops. just like there are good and bad black people, there are good and bad cops. these incidents have nothing to do with one another. four people lost their lives over some fool not wanting to go back to prison. if he did not want to go back to prison then he should have cooperated when he was first being pulled over. now he is dead over some nonsense. Are there crooked cops, yes of course, but there are also alot of cops who risk their lives everyday to protect people like us. how would you like it if someone killed your loved one and then other people turned around and said well that is what their people get for something that they were not even involved in….that is just dumb and insensitive. I am praying for all the families invovled in this tragedy because it is a waste of human life no matter who was the good guy and who was the bad guy

  17. hey jude

you have the republicans on the sunday morning talk shows like monica crowley who represent that ilk of people who wouldn’t know anything about hard work even if you hit her in the tail w/ it. she talks about how the ‘blame bush’ theme is wearing thin. i would like to say where in the hell else does this blame lie? these red republican states like home state of haley barbour the ol good ol boy from mississippi. i question why is it that african americans still suffer in your state? and still suffer in states like ALA, LA, MS, etc.. anywhere south of the mason-dixon line, while the white folks, the majority are doing damn fine if you are of the republican ilk. fact; this is the way this system is. AIG is but the tip of the ice berg if truth be told. one of the writers in the bible “josephus” wrote about the corrupt politicans who brought down the roman empire with theivery and greed, sen. dodd and all you crooks on the hill it just goes to prove that its both sides dem and repub’s are the deviants of corruption. example; the 9/11 commission was suppoesed to grill bush w/ questions about why we are in this war and how it came about. but the democratic senators took the day off and bush was asked only some light weight questions by their replacements. chuck schummer was one of the people that took that day off thus no one got to the truth and we NEVER will. the epicenter for ALL this corruption begins at the pentagon its no secret them retired admirals and generals are milk’n the system. you notice how quiet nancy pelosi is on this aig bonus scandal i also wonder how many of these folks up on the hill has got buried tresure from all the loot they’ve stole. from back door deals on K-STREET? even back in the 60′s….. marvin just as you sang then, its still true to this day. over 40 yrs later and we still wonder ” WHATS GOIN ON ?????????……….

  18. jenn

R U SERIOUS REALLY! Wow. It must hurt to be that stupid and ignorant. I am so glad I decided to wake up. Liberalism is seriously a mental disorder. We need to put some stimulus money towards fools.

  19. Black Ice

    #12

    I don’t care WHERE you’re from.

Was it a tragic event? Yes.

And it’s STILL real coonage for black folks to run out and set up memorials for cops (white cops at that) who got gunned down pursuing a black felon.

Especially given the police track record with the minority community.

  20. Hollywood Blackout

“Coonish” for those women to set up a memorial?

Pursuing a black felon with a violent history who SHOT AT THEM is what I pay tax dollars for. Not for black males to get a pass because the police force is part of the racist American power structure.

Black women and children living around these parasites can’t trust men in their neighborhoods or the police most of the time. They usually, WRONGLY, pick the criminals to defend and protect which ultimately puts their lives in jeopardy.

    RIP to those officers.

  21. JUDAH

Now mind you, many of the same women that say that they feel sorry for “everyone involved” and for the “loss of life all around” when a cop gets killed by a black man will be the same ones to say that black men have to “take responsiblity for their actions” when they get blown away by a cop. They’ll be the same ones to say “well we have to look at what we do” when a black man is killed, smh. Sad really because they honestly believe that drivel. The Arab women are not in Iraq telling their men to put down their guns so that they can get along with the U.S. Army. They understand that they must stand behind their men because they know that there is a war going on. Black people do not seem to understand that they are still in the midst of a war.

  22. Carmool

I’m from Oakland born an raised here, it just seems like we are falling further an further into a black hole. It’s sad.. it’s sad for the officers family it’s sad for the young man family, and it should be freightening to everyone else. My community is in shambles!

  23. Cmeez

@ 4 Those were my first thoughts?! I started thinking like maybe one of the officers was black and this was his mother/or sister. But then I scrollled down and saw the pics. wth?!

    Hey Judah!

  24. Have Not Though of a User Name

    @ 4.Black Ice

I am from the Bay Area and Oakland Police did not kill Oscar Grant, BART police did. The station it happpend at just happened to be in Oakland. The Oakland Police Department has a lot of issues, most of the police on that force are the problem, but you can’t blame every officer for the bad actions of others. There are a lot of OPD officers that are members of my church, and they are great people. This is tragic all arround and my hart and prayers go out to all the families including the suspect, his family is mourning as well.

  25. Hollywood Blackout

Judah, please. Black women have been “standing behind” violent, deranged black men for decades now and where has it gotten them: poor, raising children by themselves and living in violent communities.

Iraqi women and children are facing the same type of violence as black women in the ghetto. They are being raped and killed by insurgents every day. They are standing by them men who are trying to bring peace and safety to them and their children whether it be a fellow Iraqi or not. You are deluded if you think Iraqi women support war and violence. Women and children are always the first victims of war.

  26. Stacy H

#21 how can you compare a muslim extremists to the actions of some criminal in this country. those extremists would blow up themselves, everyone in their family and the damn neighborhood for their cause. When someone commits a crime (black or white) it is most likely for selfish motives and they are not thinking about their community when they sell drugs or kill someone. to compare the two is dumb and to say that we as black women do not stand by our men is even more dumb. I will stand by someone who is wrongly accused or fighting for the rights of us as a people, not some damn drug dealer, rapists or violent criminal. That dude killed people because he did not want to go to prison plan and simple. he was not thinking about me or you but his own behind literally.

  27. RANA-SXYLDY

OK people, let’s wisen up! All cops aren’t bad and you shouldn’t wish bad luck on anyone. If a “black man” murders one of your family members….does that make all black men murders or bad? There are good people everywhere, just like there are bad people everywhere.

Let’s punish the wrong and pray for the innocent people that get hurt.

  28. Ms. A

The fourth police officer is dead as at yesterday and the time of this posting. Please post current information.

  29. Steupz

Someone needs to tell Obama ‘you won, already’.

Obama still seems in campaign mode. He had the answers before the Elections so what changed?
    Reality?

  30. dukesman2000

    @RANA-SXYLDY

A good cop is a dead cop. So in essence, those three pictured above are good cops.

  31. luv4life

Wow, hatred is an ugly thing in black or white. It’s a shame when the victims become just as bad as the perpetrators. When did it become okay to kill someone just because they were a certain color? How could we as Black people start to subscribe to the same twisted belief system as Klansmen? They too feel it’s okay to kill people because of their color–believing the same thing makes anyone just as guilty as they are. Those who think the police officers deserved to die because they were White police officers have now turned into the enemy they profess to hate–the irony is that is the ultimate self hate. I’m just shaking my head.

  32. dukesman2000

    @Ms. A # 28

    Hip Hip Hurray!!!!!!!

If there is going to be a funeral procession in the Black community, let there be one in the white community.

  33. Nothing But Love

    Black people are soooo confused

  34. dukesman2000

    luv4life

How far has this “love your enemy,” “turn the other cheek,” “forgive them Father for they know not what they have done” approach gotten you or Black people on a whole? Don’t get me wrong, if the cops were doing what they were suppose to do with in the realms of their job description, which is to serve and protect (everybody) I would not feel this way about them. But they are shooting Black people and asking questions later. So now we have seen the chickens have come home to roost.

  35. JUDAH

    @Hollywood Blackout

I never condoned the background of the man who shot those police officers. I understand his actions and I will never feel any remorse or compassion for any police officer, no matter what race they are. They are not out to “protect and serve”. Their job is to clean up the trash that has been produced by the school system and the mind control outlets of mass media in the black community. I do condone how he chose to go out; by taking his enemies, members of any police force, with him. For all intents and purposes Lovelle Mixon was dead before he was born, because this is a captivity and unless given certain insight, these brothers are going to live a life of confusion. I don’t expect most black women to understand or sympathize because your minds were destroyed generations ago, plus to a certain degree, you’ve been written in on the deal of the so-called “American Dream”. Your mindset is assimilation, which is the essential mindset of the woman. That is a whole other topic.

If you feel that you, as a black woman, are a captive in your own community then you should examine the dynamics of a society that has purposefully empowered you and given you the ability to effeminize young boys by believing that you can “do it on your own”. The black man has become a massive coward and the number one bully that he is scared to stand up to is the black woman. These black men don’t know how to be men because the image of the black male has been destroyed. This is why the white man provides false idols for these black boys to esteem to be. Then the black man tries to rebel against his situation by committing wanton acts of violence, usually against his own people. Honestly, if the black man is a monster (which one can certainly make the case he has become), the white man and the black woman are Dr. Frankenstein. Then many sisters have the nerve to place all the blame on the black male after the minds of these boys have been twisted from their youth upward, lol. You’re honestly lucky that there aren’t 5million Lovelle Mixons. Let me establish something else as well. The black woman has been “standing behind deranged black men” because 1) she had no other choice because the white man wasn’t exalting you like he is now. 2) the “deranged black man” is oftentimes more preferable to the black woman than the upright black man who is a mental threat to her and will make demands of himself and her.

I never said that Iraqi women support war. I said that they support their men. Their men are fighting a war. If the Iraqi man decided to put down his guns, the Iraqi women would co-sign that as well because they understand that no men=no nation=no future. This is how one knows that when some black woman talk about “god bless the police”, it is subliminal for “Maintain control over the black male. I’m able to provide for myself anyway and he is only necessary for impregnation”.

  36. jenn

Let all us black people move to a country where we are the majority and we make all the rules and laws. It will be perfect no crime, no hassle from the white man.

Wait there is a place like that in the continent of Africa and it is more racist and messed then you can imagine. Lets see some of you move there and see if you don’t get shot up by a black military.

Black people need to get there feelings and priorities together. Murder is wrong no matter which way you slice it. It you do wrong and you get caught the laws are that you go to jail. So what if you are a black man, that means you should not have to live by the laws like everyone else.

SHUT UP PLEASE. This ignorance is making me sick.

  37. D

^^ I agree with you and those who feel the same! These officers need to think about how family members of innocent people feel when they want to harass and hit and shoot them! I am sorry, we all have to die one day (right?) and if you truly believe that…then this was their day! Sorry, it is what is. But I just can never have empathy for the same people who will turn a routine ticket stop into something so big that before you know it, you are about to go to jail! I know soooooooooooo many crooked cops its a shame!

  38. D

    my statement was for dukesman2000

  39. Wow……I just read about the OPD shootings……Pray for the world ya’ll! So much is going on.

  40. D

    Judah well said…and I am a woman!

  41. theknownunkown

As much as I hate to say this, I feel little remorse for the police officers. It is terrible to loose lives over certain situations, especially in this sense for someone “not wanting to go back to prison” but lately I have seen not only in the media, but personally in my own community the way MOST police officers treat other people and criminals, it is very unfair and eventually it can come back to haunt you.

…Do unto others as you would have them do unto you…

  42. Hollywood Blackout

    Judah,

I suspect that you think that by claiming that black women and white men work together to “effiminize” the black male that actually means it is the truth.

Here is what we can agree on, I think. The majority of black American males in 2009 provide no benefit to the majority of black American females. For the most part, they do not provide for and protect women in their families or in their communities. The reasons for this are varying and I suspect we disagree on who or what is to blame. But since MOST black men do not see their role the same way males of other races do, the bulk of them have become useless. This has resulted in communities being “protected” by women and racist police – neither of which every really work together for obvious reasons. The women protect the criminals and the police hunt them down – now who do you think is going to be the collateral damage in this equation? How many black women and children have been hurt by both the police and the deranged black men? This means that black women in 2009 have got to get away from the majority of these men. They have got to leave them alone because they have been given the duty of raising children and financially supporting communities. They cannot do this and protect black men at the same time. No society can function with the women as providers and protectors – who is going to have the energy to educate and nurture? This is why so many black children are not equipped to handle adult situations – they have only been fed, clothed and housed. They lack the nuanced ability to handle adult situations like marriage, parenting, education and career achievement.

Now, I agree that law enforcement in America is an extension of the KKK. Most white communities are not violent and therefore they do not need to be policed. Yes, the police in those communities literally serve and protect. The majority of white cooperate with police and see them as their ALLY. This has never been the case for black Americans. Black communities are havens for crime – mainly because predators like to set up shop in places where women and children live by themselves. Women are less likely to confront a criminal. A child is going to either be afraid or envious. So in the black community, police know that there are so few men who would have the ability to defend themselves and so MANY men with priors and not a penny to their name.

This is why, in my estimation, the black community collective needs to be dismantled because women and children and suffering needlessly and black men are walking zombies. Black women are never going to be able to self-police and keep their neighborhoods free of crime. Only men can do that. If black women refuse to wake up and see that they are ALONE – literally and figuratively – we will see more cases like this. Black women crying and weeping over more CARNAGE right outside their door.

  43. Polished

Black people are just as racist as everyone else. Dont act like your on a higher level.
As far as black man been victims. Everyone including them need to learn to take responsibility for themselves and there actions. I don’t get this. Explain to Christ our lord and savior that it is okay to kill a person because of there job or skin color.

As soon as some one breaks into your house, or steals your child or wrongs you in some way you will be dialing 911 and getting ready to sue some one in court. Get over your selves. Really.

  44. JUDAH

    @Stacy H

Sometimes I find myself having to re-read what I initially wrote to see where certain people get the things that they accuse me of saying from. Where did I say that black women should stand behind criminalistic black men? Where did I metion the validity of the war that the Muslims are fighting? The comparison was how the Arab women stand behind their men in war in comparison to our women. However you slice it, a black woman should never be crying and making wreaths for cops unless that cop was a family member. If I was a member of the criminal element in a community and I saw that, I would certainly make a mental note of that woman. I never said who Mixon was thinking about when he squared off with the police either. You think Obama is thinking about you, lol? I could care less who he was thinking about, but I know what he was thinking about. He was thinking that he was going to die and he was going to take some devils with him, lol. I applaud him for that. You know what though sis? You know when you sisters will get it? When America’s economy bottoms out and white America no longer is pushing that American Dream nonsense. Then they will stop exalting the black woman and we will see what is what. Many black women are also killed by police every year but it is rarely shown on television because they want to perpetuate the stigma that it is purely an anti-black male issue with the police.

  45. cashiius

I’m sorry to say but I don’t feel sorry for the cops, cops kill innocent people all the time and the media dosnt hides it and dosnt say anything about it. So do I feel sorry for the cops NO. People would only kill cops if the cops did something to him or there family or friends ur the cop was jus actin like an ass there’s no such thing is a gud cop no more there all bad cops. And the guy got killed foe killin the cops he jus didn’t go to jail he got killed you see what I mean?

  46. Michelle

Alot of these comments really disgust me. As the child of a NYPD officer whose served and PROTECTED for the last 27 years of his life Im appalled to hear some of you say how those officers deserved what happened to them. Are you serious like come on. Yes there are bad cops but there are also good ones, like my father and plenty of others in this world who try to protect us and make it safe for kids to go outside and play. I pray for my dad and his fellow officers everyday..because we never know when some IDIOT..yes I said it..like Mixon is gonna turn a gun on him too. In the 27 years he’s been patrolling he’s only killed 4 people and was very distraught over them and never once was it for no reason…I swear I can’t wait until he retires because this world is getting crazier by the minute and with this kind of thinking I can understand why.

  47. oakland born

the comment someone made about the BART police incident and “what goes around comes around”. that incident had nothing to do with those officers who lost thier lives. I think we are so focused on the uniform we forget about the person in the uniform. ITS a job and a very well paying job to be an officer. they are doing what they are paid to do protect and serve. Although some cops are bad cops some are good, just as in life. My prayers go out to the families of the officers. What a senseless act of violence Lovelle caused; his reasons were selfish and because of his stupidity 4 people lost thier lives and that makes no sense.

  48. dukesman2000

    @Michelle,

My father was a cop too and if he was out there shooting people down for no reason and some hoodlum caught him slipping and lit his a$$ up, then it would have been payback. However, that is not to say I would not be hurt or find a way to retaliate because after all, he is my father….but I would understand the karma around it.

  49. Polished

    Sorry Michelle,

It is no use discussing this with some of this people. Unfortunately, you cant change stupid and misguided people. They are just spewing out regurgitated ideas from other
Ignorant, unhappy people. These type of people wouldn’t know a good life if some one handed it to them.

Some people like to live in hate, self loath, and misery.

“Oh please look at me, feel sorry for me, I need help all the time, I can’t control my actions, woe is me I am black, I cant help it”. Give me a freakin break! Grow up take care of your family, community, church, children and your self.

One more thing, if a black person that happened to be a baker killed some one else like 100 years ago, I am suppose to hate all black bakers and say that the next black baker deserves to be shot down. How stupid is that thinking.

  50. luv4life

    Dukesman200

Hate is hate I don’t care how you slice it. Your hate isn’t any better or more justified than the hate of a White cop for a Black man. I’m so glad that God doesn’t judge on the same warped criteria as man.

  51. blkmarily

I am sad about the war. I was really sadden by the 60min. interview hearing that Obama had to sign off on sending more young men and women over seas. I guess that means that Busch wasn’t as crazy as we thought b/c there must really be a monumental amount of danger and threats for the US. Either way, I hope they bring home the troops soon.

  52. Starr

Regarding the shootings that took place in Oakland, CA over the weekend.. Ya’ll have to understand that we are riding on the coatail of the Oscar Grant murder. We as Black people are not safe in Oakland. We experience police brutality all the time and more so than any other community. My brother and a few of my friends were killed by an Oakland police officer, so I can understand the frustration among our Black men. The police portray themselves as our enemy in our community, so its really hard to sent our hearts and prayers to a group of people who openly torture our people on a daily basis. What happend to those officers over the weekend is no different than what police do to us EVERY weekend. Rest in peace to the REAL falling solider, L Mixon.

  53. Jenn

If it is that bad then move. If I felt that I lived in a violent area, and my children weren’t safe I would pack my shit and move. Not that hard.

I have no symphony for ex con murder’s. Police just don’t come in your house everyday
for no reason at all to beat and put you in jail because you are black. Please!

    @HOLLYWOOD BLACKOUT

See sis, you’re making many points for me. Let’s establish one thing from the start. When you say that the black man provides no “benefit” for you, that is because the white man provides “benefit” for you. This means that you view the black man as your enemy. Brothers don’t understand that most of you sisters speak in code because, like I’ve said, you all were broken down generations ago. The same way that a possessed entity says and does things that they wouldn’t say and do if they were in their right minds. As I’ve said also, you’ve been written in on the American Dream deal to a degree ( in other words bought off ). This thusly means that you cannot be trusted to raise a black male. Do you understand what I am saying? I don’t know how many times this must be reiterated. We are in CAPTIVITY. This is not our rest. Many of you black women are trying to build a palace on quicksand and then wonder why there is no foundation to your beliefs. Women and police officers cannot “protect” anything, hate to break it to you. What you can do is shepherd the children into a mindset of subservience and assimilation. This is why these black boys are so crazy. It is akin to raising a lion in captivity and acting shocked when it kills it’s trainer. It is a lion.

I notice that you exalt the women and children, which sheds some light on the control issues that many sisters have. The mentality behind that seems to be this notion that many sisters have where they swear that they “taught their sons the right thing”, before he spazzed out and robbed a bank. The fact of the matter is that power was given to you after the black community was broken down during the same civil rights movement that black people are made to believe benefited them. Black men that had their own businesses now had to appeal to the white man for a job. For example, why do you think the white man commemorates Jackie Robinson? Jackie Robinson cost thousands of black people their jobs when the elite used him to destroy the competition that the Negro Leagues were giving them. Why do you think the “feminist movement” followed the “civil rights movement”? Do you think that was happenstance? The point all along was to replace the black male role in the household by exalting the woman. Let’s be honest, even if the black man were to correct himself, the black woman would not follow him. This society will have to fall. Sisters actually want a negroid version of the white man. They don’t want the black man. This is why so many sisters claim to “love” Barack Obama.

Now, lmao, if the black man is a walking zombie, what is the black woman? The black woman is such a well-oiled machine for the white man, so counter-productive to the rise of her own people, and so self-hateful, that she is literally the best agent money can buy. The black woman is far from alone. She is being sustained by the white man. No women of any race can thrive on their own because the Lord diD not create the woman for that. The women of a race will either serve their own men or serve the men of the race that has them in captivity. Period. The white man views the black man as his mortal enemy and he would still put a black male in the highest public office he can contrive before a black woman. You said if black women refuse to wake up, we will see “more cases like this”. So what will happen if sisters “wake up”, lol? You’re not going to stop a damn thing. What you will do is fall in line once this country starts to crumble.

Well, it is that hard. This is our community. I was born and raised in Oakland. My whole family resides here. The police should takle responsibility for thier actions and know that karma is a bitch. We live on our feet, you can run and die on your knees.

  56. Starr

And for your information. The police do break down dorrs and kill Black men for no reason sweetie! You just stay in tinsel town where you belong and dont comment on things you know nothing about… just makes a person seem way too ignorant!

    Yeah, Okay.

Where is tinsel town? I guess if you except where you live and you are fine the way it is, Don’t complain.

People are always blaming other for their circumstances and then don’t do anything to change them other then resorting to being murderous ignorant people.

    What the FraK ever youngster

  60. WOW!

Judah! Sorry that you don’t understand the emaotions of others. People had just lost there lives innocently and you condone that behavior. I hate to know what solutions you have for the problems or rather the theory you propose since you don’t have any facts. You might just be at war with yourself.
