NEWS/POLITICS: PRESIDENT ON 60 MINUTES / OAKLAND POLICE SHOOTING / ANTI-WAR DEMONSTRATORS HOLD PROTEST MARCH
Monday, March 23, 2009

President Barack Obama appeared on Sunday’s 60 Minutes to discuss the most pressing issues of his first two months in office, including the economy, the bailouts, his budget and America’s involvement in Afghanistan and Pakistan. ( CLICK HERE TO VIEW VIDEO)
OAKLAND POLICE SHOOTING

Bryanna Berry looks on as her mother Elaine Walker cries after she set up a memorial outside of a building where Oakland police officers were shot and killed Sunday, March 22, in Oakland, California. Three Oakland police officers have died and a fourth was declared brain dead one day after a shootout with a man following a traffic stop. The suspect was also shot and killed by police.

According to authorities, 26 year-old Lovelle Mixon shot motorcycle officers John Hege, 41, and Mark Dunakin, 40, when they pulled him over during a routine traffic stop. He then opened fire with an AK-47 on SWAT team sergeants Ervin Romas, 43, and Daniel Sakai, 35, when they tried to arrest him at his sister’s apartment two hours later. SWAT team officers returned fire and killed Mixon. Family members say he went on a shooting rampage because he didn’t want to go back to prison.
ANTI-WAR DEMONSTRATORS HOLD PROTEST MARCH

Anti-war demonstrators carry model coffins in a protest march on Hollywood Boulevard to mark the sixth anniversary of the Iraq war ground invasion this weekend in Hollywood, California.
An estimated 91,000 Iraqi civilians have died since the invasion. The US has lost more than 4,200 military service members. While violence is reportedly at its lowest point since the US invasion, suicide bombers still terrorize the people of some regions of Iraq. President Barack Obama has ordered US combat troops home by September of 2010 and all US forces out by 2012

Why are these black women crying and setting up memorials for Oakland cops?
Are they seriously mourning officers who hail from the same department that slaughtered an innocent black man just this past December and tried to cover it up?

As a lifelone resident of Oakland, and employee of the City of Oakland, this is devasting for our City. We have been in a serious state of crisis for years. And this incidient is the final straw for a city that is the pure definition of a paradox. It’s a beautifully ugly place. Where there is so much beauty and good, there is so much blight and anger. We cannot confuse what people do for a living with who they are as people. (The Oakland Police DID NOT shoot Oscar Grant, the BART Police did). The police department is not perfect, but there are some really good people who work for OPD, and these officers did not deserve to be killed, while doing their job. Please, have some compasion for people who have lost their lives, because at the end of the day, whether they were officers or the young man that shot them, lives are lost. And it will effect everyone in this city for a long time.

Are you people that racist where you are giving a pass to someone because that shot
white cops. Cops are still people with families.
This color thing is just stupid and for anyone to make comments like it is only sort of wrong because they are cops is stupid.
I know the answer but does anyone know how many people Hussein killed while he was in power over the years. ( A whole hell of a lot) Stop blaming Americans for everything. Some countries would shoot people dead in the street for protesting against military action. Be glad we aren’t in one of those countries. Not yet anyway.

I preempted the President Obama 60 minute interview post. But like I said, how disrespectful was that cr@cker correspondent, Kroft, asking Obama if he was “punch drunk?” How impertinent? You do not ask the President of the United States such a blatantly, condescending, stupid, f*cking question. Nobody asked Georgie Porgy if he was drunk for sending thousands of soldiers to die in Iraq and Afghanistan and ultimately killing hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and Afghans? Nobody asked Georgie if he was high on meth for letting New Orleans drown. Nobody asked Georgie if he was on ecstasy for leading this country into a depression, and nobody asked Georgie if he was high of cr@ck for torturing so called terror suspects. So why the f*ck is this a$$ hole asking Obama if he is drunk just because he dared to laugh at a question? Frankly, that c*cks*cker, Kroft needs to be punched.
I hope that woman is crying for the real victim here because the real victim is Mr. Mixon. Boy, I tell you, when I heard those cops got lit the f*ck up, it was such a joyful news. Please, I don’t have time to feel sorry for any police who gets killed. Its open season on the Black man and Mixon knows this and he simply refused to be the proverbial “lamb to be slaughtered.” Mixon refuse to be the next Sean Bell, Timothy Stansbury, Oscar Grant, Adolph Grimes etc. Frankly, Mixon should be exalted and be recognized as a martyr.

It’s a fraternal order of individuals who more often than not protect their own, regardless of transgression.
They (police) aren’t around to “serve and protect” anymore. They harass, enslave, and enforce corrupt & government policies regardless of any crisis of conscience.
You can’t stand on the excuse “they’re just doing their jobs” forever!
German soldiers just “did their job” when they served under Hitler as well.
Then there are the rest of us members of the public who are understand that until the PROFESSION itself is overhauled, we won’t be any party to it’s corruption.

for #9 and all those other people who say that they don’t feel sorry for the police officers who were shot and killed …I am sorry to say but you guys are dumb. what does the incident in December have to do with this guy killing four cops. just like there are good and bad black people, there are good and bad cops. these incidents have nothing to do with one another. four people lost their lives over some fool not wanting to go back to prison. if he did not want to go back to prison then he should have cooperated when he was first being pulled over. now he is dead over some nonsense. Are there crooked cops, yes of course, but there are also alot of cops who risk their lives everyday to protect people like us. how would you like it if someone killed your loved one and then other people turned around and said well that is what their people get for something that they were not even involved in….that is just dumb and insensitive. I am praying for all the families invovled in this tragedy because it is a waste of human life no matter who was the good guy and who was the bad guy

you have the republicans on the sunday morning talk shows like monica crowley who represent that ilk of people who wouldn’t know anything about hard work even if you hit her in the tail w/ it. she talks about how the ‘blame bush’ theme is wearing thin. i would like to say where in the hell else does this blame lie? these red republican states like home state of haley barbour the ol good ol boy from mississippi. i question why is it that african americans still suffer in your state? and still suffer in states like ALA, LA, MS, etc.. anywhere south of the mason-dixon line, while the white folks, the majority are doing damn fine if you are of the republican ilk. fact; this is the way this system is. AIG is but the tip of the ice berg if truth be told. one of the writers in the bible “josephus” wrote about the corrupt politicans who brought down the roman empire with theivery and greed, sen. dodd and all you crooks on the hill it just goes to prove that its both sides dem and repub’s are the deviants of corruption. example; the 9/11 commission was suppoesed to grill bush w/ questions about why we are in this war and how it came about. but the democratic senators took the day off and bush was asked only some light weight questions by their replacements. chuck schummer was one of the people that took that day off thus no one got to the truth and we NEVER will. the epicenter for ALL this corruption begins at the pentagon its no secret them retired admirals and generals are milk’n the system. you notice how quiet nancy pelosi is on this aig bonus scandal i also wonder how many of these folks up on the hill has got buried tresure from all the loot they’ve stole. from back door deals on K-STREET? even back in the 60’s….. marvin just as you sang then, its still true to this day. over 40 yrs later and we still wonder ” WHATS GOIN ON ?????????……….

“Coonish” for those women to set up a memorial?
Pursuing a black felon with a violent history who SHOT AT THEM is what I pay tax dollars for. Not for black males to get a pass because the police force is part of the racist American power structure.
Black women and children living around these parasites can’t trust men in their neighborhoods or the police most of the time. They usually, WRONGLY, pick the criminals to defend and protect which ultimately puts their lives in jeopardy.
RIP to those officers.

Now mind you, many of the same women that say that they feel sorry for “everyone involved” and for the “loss of life all around” when a cop gets killed by a black man will be the same ones to say that black men have to “take responsiblity for their actions” when they get blown away by a cop. They’ll be the same ones to say “well we have to look at what we do” when a black man is killed, smh. Sad really because they honestly believe that drivel. The Arab women are not in Iraq telling their men to put down their guns so that they can get along with the U.S. Army. They understand that they must stand behind their men because they know that there is a war going on. Black people do not seem to understand that they are still in the midst of a war.

I am from the Bay Area and Oakland Police did not kill Oscar Grant, BART police did. The station it happpend at just happened to be in Oakland. The Oakland Police Department has a lot of issues, most of the police on that force are the problem, but you can’t blame every officer for the bad actions of others. There are a lot of OPD officers that are members of my church, and they are great people. This is tragic all arround and my hart and prayers go out to all the families including the suspect, his family is mourning as well.

Judah, please. Black women have been “standing behind” violent, deranged black men for decades now and where has it gotten them: poor, raising children by themselves and living in violent communities.
Iraqi women and children are facing the same type of violence as black women in the ghetto. They are being raped and killed by insurgents every day. They are standing by them men who are trying to bring peace and safety to them and their children whether it be a fellow Iraqi or not. You are deluded if you think Iraqi women support war and violence. Women and children are always the first victims of war.

#21 how can you compare a muslim extremists to the actions of some criminal in this country. those extremists would blow up themselves, everyone in their family and the damn neighborhood for their cause. When someone commits a crime (black or white) it is most likely for selfish motives and they are not thinking about their community when they sell drugs or kill someone. to compare the two is dumb and to say that we as black women do not stand by our men is even more dumb. I will stand by someone who is wrongly accused or fighting for the rights of us as a people, not some damn drug dealer, rapists or violent criminal. That dude killed people because he did not want to go to prison plan and simple. he was not thinking about me or you but his own behind literally.

Wow, hatred is an ugly thing in black or white. It’s a shame when the victims become just as bad as the perpetrators. When did it become okay to kill someone just because they were a certain color? How could we as Black people start to subscribe to the same twisted belief system as Klansmen? They too feel it’s okay to kill people because of their color–believing the same thing makes anyone just as guilty as they are. Those who think the police officers deserved to die because they were White police officers have now turned into the enemy they profess to hate–the irony is that is the ultimate self hate. Don’t get me wrong, if the cops were doing what they were suppose to do with in the realms of their job description, which is to serve and protect (everybody) I would not feel this way about them. But they are shooting Black people and asking questions later. So now we have seen the chickens have come home to roost.

I never condoned the background of the man who shot those police officers. I understand his actions and I will never feel any remorse or compassion for any police officer, no matter what race they are. They are not out to “protect and serve”. Their job is to clean up the trash that has been produced by the school system and the mind control outlets of mass media in the black community. I do condone how he chose to go out; by taking his enemies, members of any police force, with him. For all intents and purposes Lovelle Mixon was dead before he was born, because this is a captivity and unless given certain insight, these brothers are going to live a life of confusion. I don’t expect most black women to understand or sympathize because your minds were destroyed generations ago, plus to a certain degree, you’ve been written in on the deal of the so-called “American Dream”. Your mindset is assimilation, which is the essential mindset of the woman. That is a whole other topic.
If you feel that you, as a black woman, are a captive in your own community then you should examine the dynamics of a society that has purposefully empowered you and given you the ability to effeminize young boys by believing that you can “do it on your own”. The black man has become a massive coward and the number one bully that he is scared to stand up to is the black woman. These black men don’t know how to be men because the image of the black male has been destroyed. This is why the white man provides false idols for these black boys to esteem to be. Then the black man tries to rebel against his situation by committing wanton acts of violence, usually against his own people. Honestly, if the black man is a monster (which one can certainly make the case he has become), the white man and the black woman are Dr. Frankenstein. Then many sisters have the nerve to place all the blame on the black male after the minds of these boys have been twisted from their youth upward, lol. You’re honestly lucky that there aren’t 5million Lovelle Mixons. Let me establish something else as well. The black woman has been “standing behind deranged black men” because 1) she had no other choice because the white man wasn’t exalting you like he is now. 2) the “deranged black man” is oftentimes more preferable to the black woman than the upright black man who is a mental threat to her and will make demands of himself and her.
I never said that Iraqi women support war. I said that they support their men. Their men are fighting a war. If the Iraqi man decided to put down his guns, the Iraqi women would co-sign that as well because they understand that no men=no nation=no future. This is how one knows that when some black woman talk about “god bless the police”, it is subliminal for “Maintain control over the black male. I’m able to provide for myself anyway and he is only necessary for impregnation”.

Let all us black people move to a country where we are the majority and we make all the rules and laws. It will be perfect no crime, no hassle from the white man.
Wait there is a place like that in the continent of Africa and it is more racist and messed then you can imagine. Lets see some of you move there and see if you don’t get shot up by a black military.
Black people need to get there feelings and priorities together. Murder is wrong no matter which way you slice it. It you do wrong and you get caught the laws are that you go to jail. So what if you are a black man, that means you should not have to live by the laws like everyone else.

I am sorry, we all have to die one day (right?) and if you truly believe that…then this was their day! Sorry, it is what is. As much as I hate to say this, I feel little remorse for the police officers. It is terrible to loose lives over certain situations, especially in this sense for someone “not wanting to go back to prison” but lately I have seen not only in the media, but personally in my own community the way MOST police officers treat other people and criminals, it is very unfair and eventually it can come back to haunt you.

Judah,
I suspect that you think that by claiming that black women and white men work together to “effiminize” the black male that actually means it is the truth.
Here is what we can agree on, I think. The majority of black American males in 2009 provide no benefit to the majority of black American females. For the most part, they do not provide for and protect women in their families or in their communities. The reasons for this are varying and I suspect we disagree on who or what is to blame. But since MOST black men do not see their role the same way males of other races do, the bulk of them have become useless. This has resulted in communities being “protected” by women and racist police - neither of which every really work together for obvious reasons. The women protect the criminals and the police hunt them down - now who do you think is going to be the collateral damage in this equation? How many black women and children have been hurt by both the police and the deranged black men? This means that black women in 2009 have got to get away from the majority of these men. They have got to leave them alone because they have been given the duty of raising children and financially supporting communities. They cannot do this and protect black men at the same time. No society can function with the women as providers and protectors - who is going to have the energy to educate and nurture? This is why so many black children are not equipped to handle adult situations - they have only been fed, clothed and housed. They lack the nuanced ability to handle adult situations like marriage, parenting, education and career achievement.
Now, I agree that law enforcement in America is an extension of the KKK. Most white communities are not violent and therefore they do not need to be policed. Yes, the police in those communities literally serve and protect. The majority of white cooperate with police and see them as their ALLY. This has never been the case for black Americans. Black communities are havens for crime - mainly because predators like to set up shop in places where women and children live by themselves. Women are less likely to confront a criminal. A child is going to either be afraid or envious. So in the black community, police know that there are so few men who would have the ability to defend themselves and so MANY men with priors and not a penny to their name.
This is why, in my estimation, the black community collective needs to be dismantled because women and children and suffering needlessly and black men are walking zombies. Black women are never going to be able to self-police and keep their neighborhoods free of crime. Only men can do that. If black women refuse to wake up and see that they are ALONE - literally and figuratively - we will see more cases like this. Black women crying and weeping over more CARNAGE right outside their door.

Sometimes I find myself having to re-read what I initially wrote to see where certain people get the things that they accuse me of saying from. Where did I say that black women should stand behind criminalistic black men? Where did I metion the validity of the war that the Muslims are fighting? The comparison was how the Arab women stand behind their men in war in comparison to our women. However you slice it, a black woman should never be crying and making wreaths for cops unless that cop was a family member. If I was a member of the criminal element in a community and I saw that, I would certainly make a mental note of that woman. I never said who Mixon was thinking about when he squared off with the police either. You think Obama is thinking about you, lol? I could care less who he was thinking about, but I know what he was thinking about. He was thinking that he was going to die and he was going to take some devils with him, lol. I applaud him for that. You know what though sis? You know when you sisters will get it? When America’s economy bottoms out and white America no longer is pushing that American Dream nonsense. Then they will stop exalting the black woman and we will see what is what. Many black women are also killed by police every year but it is rarely shown on television because they want to perpetuate the stigma that it is purely an anti-black male issue with the police.

As the child of a NYPD officer whose served and PROTECTED for the last 27 years of his life Im appalled to hear some of you say how those officers deserved what happened to them. Are you serious like come on. Yes there are bad cops but there are also good ones, like my father and plenty of others in this world who try to protect us and make it safe for kids to go outside and play. I pray for my dad and his fellow officers everyday..because we never know when some IDIOT..yes I said it..like Mixon is gonna turn a gun on him too. In the 27 years he’s been patrolling he’s only killed 4 people and was very distraught over them and never once was it for no reason…I swear I can’t wait until he retires because this world is getting crazier by the minute and with this kind of thinking I can understand why.

the comment someone made about the BART police incident and “what goes around comes around”. that incident had nothing to do with those officers who lost thier lives. I think we are so focused on the uniform we forget about the person in the uniform. ITS a job and a very well paying job to be an officer. they are doing what they are paid to do protect and serve. Although some cops are bad cops some are good, just as in life. My prayers go out to the families of the officers. I guess that means that Busch wasn’t as crazy as we thought b/c there must really be a monumental amount of danger and threats for the US. Either way, I hope they bring home the troops soon.

Regarding the shootings that took place in Oakland, CA over the weekend.. Ya’ll have to understand that we are riding on the coatail of the Oscar Grant murder. We as Black people are not safe in Oakland. We experience police brutality all the time and more so than any other community. My brother and a few of my friends were killed by an Oakland police officer, so I can understand the frustration among our Black men. The police portray themselves as our enemy in our community, so its really hard to sent our hearts and prayers to a group of people who openly torture our people on a daily basis. What happend to those officers over the weekend is no different than what police do to us EVERY weekend. Rest in peace to the REAL falling solider, L Mixon.

@HOLLYWOOD BLACKOUT
See sis, you’re making many points for me. Let’s establish one thing from the start. When you say that the black man provides no “benefit” for you, that is because the white man provides “benefit” for you. This means that you view the black man as your enemy. Brothers don’t understand that most of you sisters speak in code because, like I’ve said, you all were broken down generations ago. The same way that a possessed entity says and does things that they wouldn’t say and do if they were in their right minds. As I’ve said also, you’ve been written in on the American Dream deal to a degree ( in other words bought off ). This thusly means that you cannot be trusted to raise a black male. Do you understand what I am saying? I don’t know how many times this must be reiterated. We are in CAPTIVITY. This is not our rest. Many of you black women are trying to build a palace on quicksand and then wonder why there is no foundation to your beliefs. Women and police officers cannot “protect” anything, hate to break it to you. What you can do is shepherd the children into a mindset of subservience and assimilation. This is why these black boys are so crazy. It is akin to raising a lion in captivity and acting shocked when it kills it’s trainer. It is a lion.
I notice that you exalt the women and children, which sheds some light on the control issues that many sisters have. The mentality behind that seems to be this notion that many sisters have where they swear that they “taught their sons the right thing”, before he spazzed out and robbed a bank. The fact of the matter is that power was given to you after the black community was broken down during the same civil rights movement that black people are made to believe benefited them. Black men that had their own businesses now had to appeal to the white man for a job. For example, why do you think the white man commemorates Jackie Robinson? Jackie Robinson cost thousands of black people their jobs when the elite used him to destroy the competition that the Negro Leagues were giving them. Why do you think the “feminist movement” followed the “civil rights movement”? Do you think that was happenstance? The point all along was to replace the black male role in the household by exalting the woman. Let’s be honest, even if the black man were to correct himself, the black woman would not follow him. This society will have to fall. Sisters actually want a negroid version of the white man. They don’t want the black man. This is why so many sisters claim to “love” Barack Obama.
Now, lmao, if the black man is a walking zombie, what is the black woman? The black woman is such a well-oiled machine for the white man, so counter-productive to the rise of her own people, and so self-hateful, that she is literally the best agent money can buy. The black woman is far from alone. She is being sustained by the white man. No women of any race can thrive on their own because the Lord diD not create the woman for that. The women of a race will either serve their own men or serve the men of the race that has them in captivity. Period. The white man views the black man as his mortal enemy and he would still put a black male in the highest public office he can contrive before a black woman. You said if black women refuse to wake up, we will see “more cases like this”. So what will happen if sisters “wake up”, lol? You’re not going to stop a damn thing. What you will do is fall in line once this country starts to crumble.

I live in the bay area…in the city right next to Oakland matter of fact and when I heard about this I immediately asked what the big deal is…I mean people die at the hand of police all the time and can’t even get a thorough investigation..and NO i’m not referring to the Oscar Grant incident because that was BART Police. However, when 4 policemen die they want to send police forces from Oakland, Vallejo, Alameda etc. to the scene. WTF. This incident was unfortunate and shows the disparity between cops and civilians in Oakland. They pulled Lovelle over for a ROUTINE STOP better known HARASSMENT. What was THE CAUSE for pulling him over OPD? *silence* riiiiight. Also, i want to point out that this is not a racist matter those cops just happened to be white… I feel bad that the cops lost their lives because they are human and have families, however, I feel like OPD and other PD’s around the nation need to take this incident as incentive as a means to RECONSTRUCT TRUST WITH THE COMMUNITY..not to enact more force on the community as a means of “safety.” In my eyes, Lovelle is a martyr…the police need to learn to stop effin with people…if they don’t more incidents like this will occur.

Some of these comments are truly crazy and the people that wrote them seriously need to seek help. If we were on TMZ website and we read some of these comments from caucasians towards the murders of blacks we would go crazy. In the same regard I do not respect blacks that show racism toward another race. There will unfortunately always be good and bad people and racism will never end but what makes you think you are any different from the bad police who kill blacks b/c of the color of their skin when you spit the same hatred out your heart towards someone’s son, father, brother, husband and friend. This is a tragedy for the police officers and their families regardless of their race. This is a case where a IDIOT killed human beings b/c he didn’t want to go to jail well, if he didn’t repent I’m sure he’s burning in hell wishing that he would have simply went to jail.

Hollywood Blackout

Judah,
If the black woman is counter-productive to the “rise” of her people then why is it that the black man is more likely than any other man to abandon his children. Check any state foster care system, most children in foster care are the children of black men, the race of the mother doesn’t even matter.
And I never said that black women weren’t suffering due to the uselessness of black males. She IS suffering. Some all-black residential areas like Oakland, Detroit, Chicago, etc are seeing Rwanda-like conditions. Poverty, disease, children running rampant. If black men cannot step up and reclaim their communities and families then black women have to. No one is going to drown when there is a life preserver nearby. Most black women have been in survival mode for the past thirty years. They have been forced to act on instinct, like men, but they lack the skills to do so. So for you to blame them when all they have been trying to do is save a community by arranging decks on the Titanic, then you don’t give a BLIP about black people at all. You just care about hating white people and thinking you’re “right”. You have no real love of blackness, you detest it as much as you claim black women do.
And for what it’s worth I am married to a black man. He may be a “white black man” like you claim Barack Obama is, but he is an individual who had the ability to separate himself from the madness that most black men subscribe too, including most of the “good” black men.
So perhaps you should be on a blog that is frequented by more men instead of coming to a forum frequented by mainly women (a gossip blog!) and trying to brow-beat these sisters into feeling like everything they see around them is their fault because they don’t know how to “follow” a REAL black man’s lead. A REAL man of ANY race does not need permission to lead a woman. He does not need to argue with her or explain why he can’t do something. So yes, if black women don’t want to be “led” by hyper-masculine abusers then I support them all the way.
Don’t forget, there are plenty of black men and women who have divested from the nonsense of the black community and are living well and are happy. I can’t fathom why someone would stay in some of these hell holes but that is probably why I didn’t end up in one in the first place.
Where do you live?

excellent rebuttal. just wanted to put that out there; your words are not in vain.
unfortunately, from what i’ve witnessed here on the loop, judah TALKS more than LISTENS and itches for the chance to jump at any disparity (significant or not) before digesting the full contents of a person’s response.
there is a lot of “conspiracy theory” rhetoric that he and others like him spew (some very compelling, i must admit). however, my problem with those of the same ideology is that this is unfortunately the life that we live and for now we must operate under the constructs, playing the game to work to your advantage.
he may call me a “sell out” or a “pawn of the institution” for believing this way, but what are our other options? complete anarchy? the race war to end all race wars? that’s not the kind of world i’d want to live in. the ends (independence, total self-reliance, etc) does not justify the means by which that would occur.
inaction won’t solve anything either, but neither will divisive language aimed at antagonizing the rift that already exists between black men and women, black (wo)men and black (wo)men. we’ve been given a sh*tty hand by life, and our experience is truly unique to our identity and who we are today; but why soil the relationship between the only allies we have in this: each other.
this is not being a pacifist. this is being real. too many chiefs and not enough indians stifles progression or the ability to be cohesive. why must tragedy be the only reason where we unite? is misery our only war cry?
faith in choice and change (tangilble or not) is what compels us. take that away and all you have left is an unmotivated, uninspired, and bitter people. i refuse to be a victim.

as a bay area resident myself , let me add my opinion .
#1 . this criminal went to jail for six years for assault with a deadly weapon during an armed robery we was only out 9 months b4 he violated parole . WOW. what a wonderful citizen , the reason OAKLAND is the way that it is , and if this CRIMINAL would have stayed in prison where he belonged for police officers would have went home to their families that night . BLACK OR WHITE , their race shouldnt matter . cops dont get payed THAT much , when you really think about how many times they risk their lives , especially working in the city of Oakland. Everytime they get out on those streets they are risking their lives , but they do it anyway , because its their jobs! No one should be killed for doing their jobs , and nobody truely knows if these were crooked cops or not? so does that mean we just assume they are and therefore had to “take one for the time” that is RIDICULOUS !
Next time you hear gunshots, next time your child is at the wrong place at the wrong time and is the victim of a drive-by shooting , next time your robbed, or your mothers purse is stolen, next time someone breaks into your hourse, DONT call the police, and DONT expect their help . PLAIN and SIMPLE . dont sit up here and complain about how they do nothing, and their all crooked, and expect them to save the day next time your in a crisis . Fuckin HYPOCRITS .

@HOLLYWOOD BLACKOUT
If you are married to a good black male, why are you attempting to lead a coup against the black man, lol? That’s the real question. I’ve already answered why the black man would abandon his children. He has become a displaced coward. The point of fatherhood is to have something to teach your children and the knowledge to lead your family. The vast majority of black men have no knowledge, so they have nothing to teach. Furthermore, as I’ve stated, we are a CAPTIVE PEOPLE. It is human nature for the woman to respect the provider. The white man controls this country and this world, so don’t act like if the black man got his “mind right”, you would respect him. Until this society falls, the black male is a vassal, I don’t care how good your job is.
Contrary to what you’re taught to believe, success comes from a network of support, not just hard work. You have to have people around you that want to see you succeed, which is what this system does for all peoples for the black male. This is not an excuse, this is fact. A person of another race can come to this country and establish a productive business before a black man can, and that is purposeful. This is also not about the blame game, this is about establishing who is responsible for what and who is falling short in their role. You are delusional if you think the black woman is anything other than a pawn, and an excellent one at that. History shows that when the black woman does rebel, she is treated with the same rancor as the black man.
If I remember correctly, for a child to be in foster care, BOTH PARENTS would either have to have bailed out on the child or found to be unfit. I guess that doesn’t fit into you schtick of the black male devil though, lol. Why have black women been in “survival mode” the last 30 years? That number corresponds to the advent of the black feminist movement. You sisters chose to take that apple from the devil, for all intents and purposes, both the black man and woman took that apple. You can’t complain about the seeds now. When you want to usurp authority and glorify yourself, you must also accept the additional repsonsibility. The white man already had these things prescribed before he introduced these movements. Any nation in power will empower the women to cause confusion. It is psychological warfare. The desired channels for the black male in this society are: 1)Entertainment 2) Some type of armed forces fighting to maintain their own subservience 3) a member of the prison system. In this way, he can still be of some benefit to the elite.
I always know when someone is ready to give up on their argument when they start making nonsensical comments. I’m more interested in knowing about evil and it’s motivations, and the entities that I know are trained to be my enemies than anything else. That is the entertainment industry. The fact of the matter is that you can’t handle dealing with a black male that is not subservient. A “real man of any race” lives according to customs that are prescribed by his forefathers. I’ll tell you again, and hopefully for the last time, we are in captivity and the black man has been cut off from that. You are under the false pretense that you are equal to a man.

Let’s get one thing clear, I am not making an excuse for the bad judgement of ANY INDIVIDUAL. And for anyone to judge a person by their job title or who they are associated with is wrong. It is time for us to stop making excuses all the way around. Yes, police officers protect their own. But we don’t protect ours. We don’t know how to stand together in a positive productive way. We deal in reaction rather than proaction. The police are here to serve and protect. Law abiding citizens have nothing to fear. People who have a clear understanding of the purpose of law inforcement don’t put themselves in situations that they feel victimized by the police. I work for parks and recreation and I have worked with the current acting police chief, several officers and others who’s goal is to change the cultural of the city. And it is people like you, who get more pleasure from continuing the miscommunication and hatred of people, who are also reacting to what ALL of us have created.
Let’s start talking about educating people about how to be accountable for their own actions, that young man made bad decisions. And I don’t believe that he was a bad person, but at some point you have to acknowledge that he did something that gave the OPD only one choice. Read up a little more about what happened. He walked over to the officers, shot them, stood over one and shot him again. They didn’t even get a chance to run his license to find out he had a warrant! Then he fled the scene, indangered the life of his sister and cousin who had nothing to do with the situation. And for what, because he made bad decisions for years and didn’t want to go to jail?
To compare a police deparment to Hitler’s army is just ridiculous. It is people like you that make people feel it’s ok to not be properly informed and ignorant to the possible solutions. Solutions that begin with each individual changing.
So, yes, we need an overhaul. We need to overhaul ourselves. Start taking responsibility for our own lives. Live righteously, not self-righteously.

You said “law abiding citizens have nothing to fear.” Really? How do you explain Amadou Diallo, Robbie Tolan, Timothy Stansbury, Sean Bell, Oscar Grant and Adolph Grimes? They were law abiding citizens weren’t they? Then you later went on to say, “People who have a clear understanding of the purpose of law enforcement don’t put themselves in situations that they feel victimized by the police.” In case you did not know Robbie Tolan is the son of a former baseball players and he was shot in the driveway of his house. Did he put himself in a situation to be victimized by the cops?
Let me tell you a story: Last week I was in Bedford, PA (about 6 hours from NYC) on work assignment. Now, it is not an overstatement when I say there are no Black people in Bedford. On my way back, I got pulled over by a cop. I wasn’t doing anything wrong, following the speed limit and all, because I know how they get down in Bedford. I passed a cop on the highway and as soon as she saw me she started to follow me. She followed me for a bout 30 minutes. She eventually pulled me over and when I asked why the hell she pulled me over, she said even though indicated before I changed lanes to get in front of her, I did not do it 20 miles back. I said to her, “can I ask you a question and I mean no disrespect? But the only reason you pulled me over was because I am Black.” She swore up an down and apologized for me feeling that way but I let her know that she can save the bullsh!t. The point is in this racist country, Black people don’t have to do anything for the police to impose their will on them, for no reason other than the fact that “they can.”
See, you work for the racist bastards so you feel obligated to defend them at all cost. You are so mystified and confused, you see the victims as the offenders and the offenders as the victims. I would like to hear what you would say if it was one of your family members who was murdered in cold blood by these racist c*cks*ckers. I guarantee you’d be singing a different tune.

Sis, no disrespect to you, but I don’t think that you are aware of what “enlightened” is. Whoever is in power will be viewed as the bearer of the light. This is why, like I’ve already said, the black woman is programmed to hearken unto the philosophies of the white man. It’s not rocket science. If the Chinese were the top nation in power, you would hearken unto the Chinese man. If someone is speaking in regards to “enlightenment”, if they are not referencing how you can accrue power unto yourself, you should cease from listening to that person because they are an agent of whoever is already in power. You either rule over subjects or you are ruled over. There is no other form of existence. For so many black women to have so much sympathy for one of the branches of oppression shows how detached most of you are from your community and how anti-black male many of you are. It’s neither here nor there to me. I’m already FULLY aware of this phenomenon. I’m just waiting for the Most High to waken the minds of these so-called black men so they can get their heads out of the behinds of the black woman and the white male.
Furthermore, I do deal with the public so it is better to ask than assume. Based on your stance on this issue, you have nothing to offer the public other than the same stale, “assimilation through self-degradation” approach that has gotten the black community nowhere. Lastly, I notice from yourself and “Hollywood Blackout” this exaltation of the woman and a subliminal acknowledgment that the black woman has the same mindframe as the powers that be. Why would you believe that the police would be telling black males to do the same thing that “their mommas should’ve taught them”? If that is the case, that is verification that the children (particularly the black males) are being taught to be subservient and stay in their place, because that is all the police are for.

This is disgusting. I’m not talking about the story, I’m talking about the response. I read this post and the replies just re-instates my idea of many ppl who frequent this site: grown ass CHILDREN. What the f**k is positive about murder? Regardless of why it’s used as a tactic… it’s STILL MURDER. That’s one of the reasons why SOME black ppl can’t get anywhere significant and bring everyone else down w/ them: because their sorry asses are still living in the past and generalizing a group of ppl. Just like those that “oppress” them, they think like a child. Saying some BS things like the “cops deserve to die” and “all cops are bad” are just examples of how these ppl are ignorance personified. Ignorance is a deadly cycle and unfortunately God won’t rid you of it so it’s up to you to read some damn self-help books, grow the hell up mentally and act right. If you’re dumb enough to think a group of ppl deserve to die because of a few bad apples, grab a lynch then go to some KKK member’s house. I’m sure since ya’ll have the same values when it comes to stereotyping ppl, they’ll know what to do and you’ll understand/accept their logic enough not to judge them when they take care of your ass. Pricks… racism is racism and hate is hate. When the hell are some of ya’ll gonna wake-up and realize two wrongs DO NOT make a right especially when blaming/stigmatizing a whole group is partially the blame why the police and A.A. relationship is still bad?
