Rihanna was spotted Tuesday night leaving Coco Deville nightclub in West Hollywood. Word is, the singer had an intimate belated birthday celebration after her first b-day party got the axe – due to the incident with Chris Brown.
In more updates with the Rihanna/Chris controversy, Chris Brown withdrew his nomination from Nickelodeon’s Kid Choice Awards and his rep also released this statement today:
Unfortunately, the controversy surrounding the incident last month has shifted the focus from the music to whether he should be allowed to be among those nominated.
While Chris would like to speak to his fans directly about this and other issues, pending legal proceedings preclude his doing so at this time. Once the matter before him has been resolved, he intends to do so.”

A bearded Denzel Washington was spotted on the set of his latest movie “The Book of Eli” in New Mexico earlier this week.
Washington takes on the lead role of Eli, in the post-apocalyptic action film about a man who fights his way across America in order to protect a sacred book that holds the secrets to saving humankind. It is expected to be released January 15, 2010.

Bayje (pronounced “Beige”) is a 19-year-old singer/songwriter from Syracuse, NY. The child of a Caucasian mother and African-American father, Bayje was commonly taunted and teased for her tanned skin and curly Afro. “A lot of kids would pick on me because of my race, so my mother gave me the nickname ‘Beige’ to ease racial tension, even though that was a little over my head at the time,” she remembers.
Her first single, “Find a Way”, produced by Stargate, is a groove-infused story of self-discovery. “It’s fun and versatile.
