SPOTTED: MARY J. BLIGE SHOPPING IN NYC

Mary J. Blige was spotted shopping with friends at American Apparel in NYC on Saturday.

According to IMDB, she will play Nina Simone in an untitled, upcoming film about the late jazz musician’s rise to fame and relationship with her manager, scheduled for release some time this year.

CONCERTS: 4TH ANNUAL JAZZ IN THE GARDEN

Erykah Badu performs at the 4th annual Jazz in the Garden event at Dolphin Stadium in Miami. The concert is one of the hottest and most anticipated music and jazz festivals in South Florida. Other performers included Common and Anthony Hamilton.
