WHITE HOUSE OPEN FOR QUESTIONS
President Barack Obama introduces a new tool on WhiteHouse.gov, “Open for Questions,” which will allow you to submit your questions on the economy and vote on those submitted by others. The President pledges to answer some of these questions during an online town hall on Thursday.
“Open for Questions” is the President’s latest effort to open up the White House and give all Americans a direct line to the Administration. To get started, just head over to Open for Questions and set up your account.
PRESIDENT’S 2ND PRESS CONFERENCE
On Tuesday, President Barack Obama gave his second prime time press conference since taking office in January from the East Room of the White House.
The President explained why he is committed to the change in course on the nation’s priorities that his budget represents. Check it out in its entirety above.
Obama has got to be tired. Just by watching him run around doing press conferences, media blitzes and travelling all over the globe makes ME tired.

I really like Mr. Obama, which is why I voted for him, but all this press makes me wonder why? It looks like he and his camp are insecure about his image (which always looks sad and desperate).
He inherited a MESS from Bush ans his administration. People need to understand NOTHING will get fixed over night. Give him some time, he’s only been in office for a little over 60 days. I’m just as egar for things to change, but lie he said it took time for washington/congress to change it’s goig to take time to undue it.

Republicans are complaining that President Obama is doing too much.
Its better for a leader to do to much for its people than too little or nothing at all.

I understand what you’re saying, but when President Obama makes appearances on various shows, he is trying to reach audiences who may never tune in to CNN, MSNBC, FOX, or read a paper. It’s a very astute political move. He understands that he is going to have people who will disagree with his policies, but we need to understand that everything he does is about getting his agenda pushed. Why do you think he is using grass root efforts to get information out about his agenda?
I heart the Obama’s, but sometimes I just wanna say, “Dude WTF are you doing?” Then I calm down and usually agree with the move, but those headlines get me sometimes. I think the open questions is a good thing. I also think that he should leave some of the media blitzs to his staff.

I am pleased at President Obama’s efforts in trying to communicate directly with the American people. I just watched his live virtual Q & A. (The first of its kind.) Washington is changing for the better.
This is what this political system is all about, letting the people make decisions on how the county’s political system. Allowing citizens to go online to aid in making decisions on how to improve this great nation is an amazing and smart idea that only my ideal Barack could have come up with.
